Riot police used water cannons Friday to disperse protesters demanding that the Philippines lift its ban on allowing its citizens to go to war-ravaged Iraq for jobs.
"Your dhimmitude is highly appreciated but we need cash!"
The ban was imposed last month after a Filipino truck driver, Angelo dela Cruz, was abducted by Iraqi insurgents. He was freed after Manila pulled out its troops ahead of schedule, as demanded by the kidnappers.

Whoa! Wanna eat the cake and have it too? Now that the Filipinios have already pulled outta Iraq (and in the process facilitated the kidnappings of several nmoire by their abject dhimmitude) what else can the filipino govt offer the jehadis once another filipino is inevitably captured? Ransom money? weapons? safe refuge to captured aby sayyaf members? Or worse, allowing free rein to tabligh (islamic missionary) work in the predominantly catholic country?

How ridiculous. Do Filipinos really think they won't be kidnapped again?Will they then go crying to the US to save them?

Understand how desperately many Filipinos need jobs but death by beheading [or any sort] would be their fate. Now Gorgeous Gloria has done her vote catching ploy, that gal ain't gonna rescue no more truckers...Stay OUT of Iraq my friends and concentrate on Islamic murderers inside Philippines...numbers of Jihadists are growing even
if Gloria isn't taking much notice.
