I anxiously await France's response to this scenario although I have a feeling as to the response that will probably focus on the fact that France is not involved in Iraq and that the free lance photographers now kidnapped went there on their own accord thus allowing no precedence to the demand.

France backing off on the issue of headscarfs, I think, would pretty much make them appears Fools to the entire world. It certainly wouldn't help their standing or hopes in the EU.

Scratch two French journalists. The really bad part? We'll never get to hear the final thoughts of those two, as the Leftist government they were so proud of sells them out to maintain its last shred of 'intergity.' I'm sure it will have been a learning experience about the ideaology they (and their compatriots over here) espouse.

CAIR Canada made the Headscarf an issue for the Customs Officers at entry points in Airports,CAIR also posted a "Action-Alert" article about Canada's stand on religious dress in the Public schools system.
The Islamists are creating Muslim states by proxy,non-Muslims are treatened with death to allow Islam to be part of the Political system and
soon Shariah-Law will be active in Canada.
I believe the Hijab will be used in the Public schools to create tension which will justify another course on "Islamophobia" to be taught in
the classroom.
Don't be surprised if all girls are forced to wear a Hijab to not offend Allah's dress code,next femaloe teachers will be barred from
teaching Muslim students,then Morning prayer's will be mandatory to appease the Muslims,tyhen the pools and Gym's will be shut down and lunch rooms will have Halala only food to appease Muslims.

Why not? This kidnapping thing seemed to work on shaping foreign policy in dhimmi countries, so why not domestic policy too? Of course folks seem to forget that the Madrid bombings were being planned long before the invasion of Iraq, so really what was that all about? Re-re-conquista? If so, we should probably expect that only the Basque culture will be left standing.

I expect in typical Vichy capitulation cum collaboration fashion, that the dhimmi French government will accede in some way to this latest threat, in what promises to be a long, long list of jihadi demands ad nauseum.

Le President is either himself brainwashed with the 'liberte et egalite' twaddle, or has since the beginning of his term been put in a difficult position of having to comply with it whatever the circumstances.

However, the situation is about as ominous as portrayed in the article referred to by Hutchrun (see above). It appears, nothing substantial can be done to halt the demographic and terror conquest of the European Dar al-Harb without the National parties taking the reins of power. To do so, that is, to turn them from leftist or 'radical' into government mainstream factions, we are likely to need sponsorship.

Who could have a hand in that? If you want my opinion, it's the Vatican with its vast money reserves. All it would take is ditching the blasted political correctness and dubious attempts to appease Islamist aggression.

“Mr Duplicity”, PA/PLO “President” Yasir Arafat, has emotionally requested the kidnappers of the French journalists in Iraq to release their captives. Greatly buoyed up by a recent visit from the FM of France, M. Michel Barnier, this is ONE MORE of shifty Arafat’s “political” ploys, seeking a shot at openly resuming his over-lengthy career in prevarication, subterfuge and TERRORISM.

There was fleeting news yesterday evening of gun-battles in Lebanon’s UNWRA-run Ein el-Hilwe “Palestinian Refugee Camp”, between elements of Arafat’s personal Fatah gunmen and those of Anfal el-Ansar - allegedly related to el-Qaeda - which established a strong base in the “Camp” several years ago and has been operating out of it, largely unhindered, ever since.

In ordering his Fatah militiamen into action there, the odious, ever-deceitful Arafat, is soliciting to re-ingratiate himself with the USA by expelling a detachment of Osama bin-Laden’s terrorists from his “PA-controlled territory”, thus “amply proving” his own “anti-terrorist” credentials. (Mr Kerry, whom Arafat’s counting upon seeing in the White House in November, scarily, COULD WELL BUY this further ruse of his: another step in - insanely - “rehabilitating” him!)

This incident - not the first of its sort in Ein el-Hilwe, there’ve been a few previously in the last couple of years - ought not necessarily to be read as a preliminary of the impending “Palestinian” civil war, but instead as nothing more than an opportunistic gambit by that pathological narcissist, Arafat, to return to strutting (and declaiming his lies) on the international stage.

Ironically, though there’s NOT liable to be any Peace for Israel eventuating from Arafat ever being loosed on the scene again, the total horror of the “Palestinian”civil war will be DELAYED if, indeed, the obscene Arafat CAN re-emerge into the lime-light (as he so slavers to do), plus it can hypothetically be held off for as long as he’s basking in it.

Meanwhile in “poor Palestine”, the constituents for internal chaos would continue to mount inexorably, festering, gathering in tension (and poison) till their brutal product’s freed to explode in every direction, as soon as Yasir Arafat’s THROUGH. The looming, full-scale conflict there won’t erupt in its PEAK, unbridled violence - feeding ferociously off the armed anarchy that’s bound to engulf the West Bank and Gaza Strip - until Arafat’s FINALLY GONE permanently.

Several urgent regional and multilateral problems could be resolved forthwith, if the Angel of Death, should swoop on the vile, repulsive, genocidal Yasir Arafat, in Ramallah TONIGHT.

However, it’s unlikely that Peace will promptly spring into life with his demise. Following his most welcome departure, in a flash there’ll be a power-vacuum in Gaza and the West Bank, with a wild plethora of contenders hastening to fill it (or lucrative sectors of it, anyway). The rivals for a nice piece of “Palestine” will no doubt find that this can be secured exclusively BY FORCE, wielded against their competitors. The consequent frictions, once no “ultimate authority” (as Arafat views himself) is around, unchecked, will dash them headlong, irrevocably into civil war.

This won’t be the clash of Cavaliers and Roundheads in 17th Century England, Whites versus Reds in post-Czarist Russia, Blue versus Gray in America, Spanish Loyalists and Nationalists, the Marians and Sullans of the Roman Republic, etc (except, possibly, towards its culmination).

In the INDEFINITE interim-period, the strife’ll be closer in kind to that of Beirut in the 1970s and ‘80s, than to any of the fighting in the civil wars above. With a host of power-claimants in “Palestine”, there’ll be the ongoing, bloody grind of a mess of Arab factions, gangs and mafias - “political”, paramilitary, feudal, criminal, et al - set squabbling voraciously, for years, over the rancid spoils of their increasingly-ruined West Bank and Gaza Strip, “brother” killing “brother”, before two major opponents can crystallize, to battle it out in their Endgame….
