A group of Muslim inmates imprisoned in Spain have taken over an area of the prison and are sounding the call to prayer around the prison, as well as intimidating other prisoners. Did the guards break up their stronghold and get them back under control? No, they asked them please to keep the noise down. From Expatica, with thanks to Ali Dashti and Susan:
MADRID - A group of 110 Muslim fundamentalists are imposing their religious customs in a Spanish prison and their calls to prayer have led to protests from other prisoners, it was reported Thursday.The Spanish daily El Mundo reported that in Topas prison, near the eastern city of Salamanca, guards claimed Muslim inmates had converted a lecture theatre into a mosque.
The officials said other prisoners avoided the area for fear of reprisals following the complaints by other inmates, who say they are disturbed by five daily muezzin calls to prayer, including just before midnight and six o'clock in the morning.
According to the report, prison guards have asked the group to try to keep the noise down.
Of 1,512 inmates, 806 are non-Spaniards, though their nationalities were not revealed in El Mundo's report.
The friction between the Muslims and remaining prisoners has, the paper added, forced prison authorities to separate them into different groups.

Here's a laugh for you,only a Muslim would boast about a growing prison population,CAIR Canada posted a notice that the Muslim criminals
have grown to the point where the Canadian Correctional services have hired a Imam for the prisoners to practise their faith.
I had to laugh at that one,to brag about have a disproportional prison population is something only a Islamic organization could feel proud about. What's a bit more scarier is a staement by a Imam at a Mosque that was raising funds for a Al-Qaeda family that want health care for their son.
The Imam responded to complaints that the Al-Qaeda family will cost the taxpayers allot of money to help a Osama Bin ladin friendly groups living in the West while they express a hatred for us. He said something that reminded of a comment by a leader from the 1930's,the comment was that "non-Muslims are a far greater burden on social services that followers of Islam".
Remember when Hitler tried to cleanse his country of those that were a far greater financial burden on Germany's social services.
The Mosque still raises funds for the Al-Qaeda family and the Canadian Government doesn't seem to want to upset the Muslim community.
Maybe there's a terrorist threat we're not being told about and these people were part of the blackmail so we wouold be bombed or terrorized.

I am also concerned about the Islamization of American prison. Prison are full of resentful and dangerous people. Certainly adding Islam to the mix is explosive. Thousands are becoming ready-made terrorists that will wreak havoc when they hit the streets.

The last thing crims in prisons need is an imam or any of those "spiritual" leaders of Islam filling their already screwed up minds with even more evil. But because islam hides under the mantle of religion, Westerners can't do anything about it. And Islamics know it. And take advantage of it.
And another thing crims don't need is lack of sleep. Midnight to 6am is only 6 hours undisturbed sleep. No wonder Islamazoids are so feral and psychotic, they suffer from lack of sleep.

I can only imagine that Ferdinand and Isabela are rolling in their graves. First, the Spaniards give in to Iraqi terrorists and now, the moors are running the asylum. I guess 1492 was Spain's best year.

Do not bother to imprison the Muslims who are nationals of other countries. Send them home. It is a worse punishment. It keeps them from conducting Da'wa in the prisons. And it will certainly have an effect on the behavior of Muslims outside the prison. And it will save money that could be better spent, for example, on efforts to convert Muslims to Christianity, or any other belief-system of your choice, including Marxism (one longs for the Arab Communist parties to make a comeback -- for apparently the abdication of one belief-system can only occur when a substitute is waiting in the wings -- fine, let Bolshevism or the Tudeh Party in Iran, or something else, be that substitute).

Several weeks ago I bumped into a young Irish chap, who used to work in a shop near where I live here in Sydney.
"Hi," I said, "haven't seen you in a while."
"That's because I got busted for overstaying my visa," he told me, "and I've been held in Villawood immigration Detention Centre for two months."
Such places've received a pretty bad rap of late, so I HAD to ask him what it was like inside.
"No problems in there at all," he replied, "- AS LONG AS YOU STAY WELL AWAY FROM THE ARABS - they cause nothing but bother, 24/7!"
He advised me that the authorities've been compelled to separate, as much as possible, the Arabs & Moslems from everybody else (at least 20 or 30 different nationalities at any one time) in there, describing the Arabs/Moslems as "nothing but trouble, all the time, creating big hassles at every chance they get."
(This young Irish guy'd been released on his own recognisance, once his mother back in Ireland had sent him an air-ticket home, booked to leave town during that same week.)
