September 16 (Compass) — Two Pakistani children were snatched away from their Christian mother by their Muslim father on Monday, secretly spirited out of the Lahore court premises where they had been brought for a court-supervised visitation session.Abdul Ghaffar kidnapped his five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter on September 13, fleeing from the Lahore Family Court with them around noontime, shortly after he had begun a two-hour visit alone with them.
There has been no trace since of the whereabouts of the children or their father, who is from Gujranwala, 40 miles north of Lahore. “Their mother is very sad and very worried about the children,” a Christian lawyer involved in the case told Compass today.
The presiding judge over Ghaffar’s child custody case has declared that the abduction constituted contempt of court. He promptly filed criminal charges of kidnapping on behalf of the court against Ghaffar under Section 364 of the penal code.
In addition to the kidnapping charge, Judge Khizer Hayat Ghondal of the Lahore Family Court issued a warrant ordering local police officials to produce the two children before his court by next Monday, September 20.
Second Kidnapping
For the children’s Christian mother, Maria Samar John, it was the second traumatic kidnapping in her life.
Seven years ago, as a teenager of 17, she had been abducted and held prisoner for five months until her Muslim captors literally sold her to Ghaffar for the rupees-equivalent of $2,000.
When she was forcibly married to Ghaffar, her name was changed to Kalsoom and she was forced to thumbprint a certificate of so-called “conversion” to Islam. For the next two and one-half years, she was a virtual slave in Ghaffar’s home in Gujranwala, locked in the house and beaten by both her husband and mother-in-law for refusing to say the Muslim prayers.
She had borne a son and was pregnant for the second time when she found a mislaid housekey and managed to flee her captors to return home. Soon afterwards, her husband sent men to recapture her. At the same time, her own father and brothers refused to shelter her and the baby, declaring she had shamed their family and was now a Muslim.
Safe House
So in December 2000, the Lahore-based Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Shelter (CLAAS) provided lodging for Maria and her children in a safe-house location. Christian lawyers affiliated with CLAAS successfully won her lawsuit for a legal divorce from her forced marriage in February 2003.

Scary indeed, but not uncommon.
The plight of minorities (Hindu and Christian) in Pakistan and Bangladesh is deplorable. Take a simple statistic - at the time of Bangladesh's independence, hindus accounted for some 24% of its population. Now they're less than 12%. Where have all the hindus gone?
Some would say they fled to India. But how many? surely not all? And what happened to the rest?
Another fact: The provincial assembely in J&K (Jammu and Kashmir) ruled by the muslim conference political party recently attempted to bulldoze legislation outlawing inheritanme to moslme women who marry outside islam! Secular India raised such a hue and cry that the measure was eventually beaten back, but only just.
Meanwhile, in south asia, home to a sixth of humanity, dhimmitude continues apace.

True I guess. Blame the victims. If the Dhimmis are getting it, its coz they deserve it i guess. How much easier for all nonmoslems in moslem lands to convert to islam, evenif for show, and carry on with dear life, eh?

What interests me is what sort of christians buy into the one way conversion idea? That's the essence of dhimmitude, the gelding of your own doctrines in order to survive under the muslim boot.

This is exactly why Female Muslims in Canada are trying to stop CAIR from demanding Shariah-Law
for all Muslims in the Country.
The Saudis have been linked to funding Whahabbism
seminars in Canadian Mosques,there is also a Shariah-law website that wants Muslims in Canada to take the courses that are based on the teaching from Madrassa's in Islamic nations.
CAIR wants to set the stage for an Islamic political party to be created so it can get
power in the parliamentary system in Canada.
Canada would be the perfect launching point for terrorist attacks on the USA and hostage-taking
because of the American workforce here.
The real tragedy is out Liberal Government fell for the lies from CAIR and believe Islam is a faith of peace and tolerance.
The peace comes after they slaughtered all the
non-conformists,and their tolerance will be to the screaming while you get beheaded for Allah.

Question : does a child become illegitimate when she is conceived without nikah taking place or when she is born & nikaah was not made till after she was born.what is her status in society.will she inherit.
I havent a clue what nikaah means.
Answer : A child is regarded as illegitimate if it is born without Nikah taking place or it is born less than 6 months after the Nikah of his/her parents.
In these cases, when the child is considered illegitimate, then it will not inherit or carry the name of the father. (Shaami vol.3 pg.540)
