From Expatica, with thanks to Anthony:
BERLIN - A majority of Germans say Turkey should be allowed to join the European Union and view the country's Moslem faith as less of a concern than rule of law issues, a poll released Friday showed. The ARD TV survey showed 55 per cent of Germans back Turkish European Union membership over the "medium or long term" with 41 percent being opposed.
Earlier this month a different poll by the Emnid Agency showed the exact opposite with 57 percent saying "no" to Turkey joining the EU and just 34 percent in favour.
Interestingly, the new ARD poll shows 25 percent of Germans naming Islam as a concern linked to Turkish EU membership, while 27 percent said their main worry was Turkey's adherence to rule of law.
Which law doesn't seem to be a concern.

This is what will happen: Europe becomes swamped by muslims, after the tidal wave caused by Turkey's entry.
Soon EU countries reach the mark where 50 percent of the population are muslims. When they do, they will start to implement sharia law.
Then (hopefully) civil war will break out, whereby the non-muslims will (hopefully) wrest their lands from the muslims, then go on to get rid of Islam from around the world.

What should be a concern, and yet never seems to get mentioned is whether Turkey's borders with Syria and Iraq are, or can ever be, secure. Land borders between EU states exist only on paper, once inside Turkey Arab mujihadin will be free to spread right across Europe unchecked.

The hysteria generated about Turkey's possible entry into the EU is highly instructive . The Turks have been trying desperately for years to be more European and more "secular" than the Europeans - yet they are still rejected by them!! - it just shows Muslims that no matter how secularised or intergrated you are you will never be accepted by Non-Muslim - so don't bother trying to be - the genocide of the Muslim Bosnians who other than their names were indistinguishable from their non-Muslim counterparts is just the most compelling example

Well, as I've finally stopped being politically correct I will just say it. There are some people in the West who feel superior to Muslims and detest the idea of having to live with them. I'm one of these people. I don't want any of you near me and I hope more people will see sense and notice what you actually are - then we in the West will send you back to where you came from so we can live in peace and you can kill each other forever more.

A sane person would no more want to live near a Muslim than to live next door to a practicing cannibal, and for similar reasons.
Is it discrimination? Of course, but completely justified by the instinct for self preservation.
A sensible person does not make a bed in a rattlesnake den, nor allow the vipers to enter the house.

Woe to those that have Muslims for neighbors, for those neighbors will despise you as being dirty kuffars, will take your lands, goods and treasure, and eventually will enslave you. It has been so for over 1350 years. Does anyone see the pattern?
