Indonesian Muslims get the dhimmis back in line. From AsiaNews, with thanks to Twostellas:
Jakarta (AsiaNews) – In the face of threats by tens of armed Muslim extremists, the Mother Superior of the St. Bernadette compound –located in Cileduk, Tangerang, Banten province (35-40 km west of Jakarta)– had no choice but to follow orders and close down its church and school.“When the attack came early in the morning no one could resist the aggressors. We had to obey,” Sister Anselma, one of the Sisters of the Child Jesus, told AsiaNews. She said that in Sunday’s attack Muslim militants from the Islam defender Front (Front Pembela Islam or FPI) stormed the compound brandishing weapons and ordered the nuns to close down the Sang Timur (the Child Jesus) church and school.
The FPI accuses Catholics of proselytising because they have been using the school’s sport hall as a makeshift church for the past ten years. Catholics counter they have had to since local authorities have hitherto refused them a permit to build a new church. Still, the nuns were forced to sign a statement pledging not to use the hall as a church. And Catholic eye witnesses decried the fact that the police did not forcefully intervene to stop the FPI militants when they started bricking up the compound’s front gate.

Oh yes, Islam is tolerant of other religions - you can believe, but you can't practice...

How I wish our government would stop funding the madrassahs!!!!!!!
There is no appeasing them. Their attitude is I'll take your money, but I will not thank you. I hate you and will use it against you. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have done it (give us money).
When will our government ever learn. If the mosques in Indonesia have been receiving money from saudi arabia, why can't we give money to the christians? I know of at least of one church in Indonesia who could not finish rebuilding their church, which has been in existense for, maybe close to 100 years, due to lack of funds. I know this for a fact, my grandpa was its minister in the first half of the 20th century.

I am a Dutch citizen in Indonesia. Though the bomb attactks earlier never scared me -there is no safe place on earth anyway since 9/11- it is the attitude of police and army in Indonesia, doing nothing.
The attack on the nuns and the school/church Tangerang makes things so frightening because the police is just watching and doing nothing.
Every year around the month of Ramadan it is the same, the FPI attacks other people, from churches to disco's, without one single policeman doing anything.
for me though it is a stimulation to be as open as possible about being a christian, and am no longer a 'cold' christian like most in the west. With the cross of Jesus around my neck, I am no longer ashamed of being a Christian. He is my only salvation.
Nevertheless I will start an initiative for a Christian security organisation in Indonesia.
