Some guy told me once that he was someplace where there was a muslim. He was involved in renovation or something, and he dropped the Koran which was on a table, onto the floor. The muslim went absolutely ballistic and he really thought that he was going to be attacked by him.

For non-Scandinavians: Helle Merete Brix has been one of the most active and respected Islam-critical persons in Denmark and Scandinavia for years. She has participated in several books, among them "I krigens hus - Islams kolonisering af Vesten" ("In the House of War - Islam's colonization of the West"), co-authored with Lars Hedegaard, who has earlier cooperated with Daniel Pipes. She has also written some articles in the excellent Danish website sharia.dk . Both the book and the website are highly recommended for Scandinavian-speaking people.

How much longer will it take before the Europeans wake up to the daily threat Islam poses to its collective security?

"Hate" crime laws (The supreme example of the applied double standard) do nothing to deter Islamic hate crimes. They only serve to discourage very real questions about this religion from being raised in the arenea of public opinion. Look at France.

If European born Muslims stubbornly stick to the brutal and base tenents of the Islamic faith, despite fleeing to the West and then living there, how can we be blamed for wanting to halt Islamic Immigration immediately upon seeing the negative impact Muslims are having on their "Host" societies?

This will not be however, because the Europeans themselves need more proof that more than the 'majority' of Muslims in the West are a threat. The flaw in that logic is that by the time women in Copenhagen are being stoned for adultry, it will already be too late.

Europe can continue to fool itself about Muslims on its soil. Their attempts at helping Muslims who "Just want a better life" is flawed because in their quest for the "Multiculti Grail" they are poisioning their own democratic societies by holding Muslim's to a different standard.

They will become what they think they are defeating through the "socialist, liberal vision"...an Islamic provence without even realizing it.

And let's face it: this is only the overt expression of a terror that has created the likes of John Esposito and thousands of others who refuse to say that Islamic texts and traditions are just simply violent and unlike any other major religious tradition in existence, and it works.

A teacher or professor has absolutely nothing to fear by quoting any text in any other tradition, but in Islam saying the wrong thing might end you up in the hospital, or get your life disrupted, or force you to face fire under vociferous protests to department chairs, university administration, or how about a very 'notes under the table' that no one is going to talk about.

And these kinds of tactics work because, well, most profs and university administration are wimps, and that's a fact.

This action is a threat to the academic integrity of institutions of higher learning in the West, but that integrity, as far as Islam is concerned, has already been compromised; we are already fighting to reclaim it, and the struggle is not even recognized.

Islam is like a huge bloated poisonous tick sucking the life out of the host

During feeding, tick saliva can get into the host's body and blood stream. Any tick infected with IslamoFacism can then inadvertently spread this bacteria to the host.

Male and female ticks usually mate while attached to the host. A few weeks later, the engorged female detaches from the host and lays her eggs (1000 - 8000 eggs) on a leaf.

A tick usually lives a year before dying.

The professor's offence, apparently, wasn't that she was an infidel quoting from Koran, rather that she was using it to make a point that was doubtless not of the "religion of peace" sort.

This is somewhat similar to the experience Urshad Manji wrote of in "The Trouble with Islam" -- of attempts made by Arab Muslims to intimidate her from speaking with candor about Islam only much more vicious. Manji's harrassers only tried to stare her down and demean her by dismissing her as a Paki, and thus invalidate what she was saying.

Those who have made the pilgrime to Odense to see the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, and who recall, as well, Danny Kaye singing "Wonderful wonderful Copenhagen" as he plays Andersen, may wish to go to the following link, and read one of Andersen's relevant tales -- for there is not only the "little Jewish girl" in this story, but a Muslim Turk as well, who after treating a captured Christian in Muslim fashion, is in his turn captured, and treated in the very different fashion of the Christians.

It is a story which does not end, as it might have, with the "little Jewish girl" converting to Christianity though the point of the story is that she was more "Christian" in the broad sense than many; Andersen was, in truth, a practitioner of real, not false, tolerance. But as the story shows, he also knew something about the behavior of Muslims. A fairy-tale, in the right hands, can tell the truth.

I do wish that muslim moderates would define these jerks as apostates who are deserving of death and simply, clearly label them as such. The radical brigade is so used to being on the other end of such labeling exercises that to be on the receiving end of such things has got to be a real shock to the system.

In another context I've done this to animal rights protesters and it really throws them for a loop. Once moderate muslims seriously undertake to study, label, and fight radical apostasy, there is a chance for Islam to be salvaged. If they do not, the inevitable end game will be the british campaign against thuggee.

Each time an incident like this occurs,the so-called "moderate muslims" are quick to tell the world that it was taken out of context,it was un-islamic,the perpetrators were not true muslims,etc...
How come then,no moderate muslim imam has ever issued one of their famous(infamous) fatwas ,against the above mentioned un-islamists?!
And how come something like this can be tolerated in any civilized country?!
I still say that the most efficient way to deal with this is civil litigation...people should file law suits,bring the islamic threath under public scrutiny and expose it for what it is.

The Danish-Iranian Masoum Moradi received death threats in the mail after he wrote an essay in a newspaper questioning Muhammad. The letter is typed in Arabic, and says that since he sides with the Zionists and the Crusaders, he deserves to die.

Special fund to fight ghetto development

The Social Affairs Minister, Eva Kjær Hansen, is preparing to put 100 million kroner into a so-called “town redevelopment pool” aimed primarily at fighting urban ghetto development.

11 local authorities have had the green light from the Minister to receive a share of the pool.

The money is intended to help the local authorities including Ålborg, Odense, Ballerup and Copenhagen, launch positive initiatives in the towns’ problematic areas. It is expected that more jobs will be created, more immigrants will be better integrated and the fight to prevent the growth of ghettos will be serious.

Eva Kjær Hansen is optimistic about the project and delighted that the local authorities have shown such an interest in addressing the problematic urban areas.

Petitions are not the most effective way to deal with media bias. Find out if there is a press council and lodge a proper complaint citing incidents. For example, you track the number of anti-Israel articles, citing specific wording that offends and contrast with coverage/non-attention given to the Palestinian Authority and it's unofficial/official policies of supporting violence financially and brainwashing Palestinian schoolchildren to produce a steady supply of martyrs.

As for the French media in particular, there was a movie made a year or two ago, Decryptage, by a couple of French Jews detailing media bias, naming AFP as a player in the abysmally slanted coverage of the initiation of the 2nd Intifada. Interestingly, the film makers declare at the beginning of the film that they make no attempt at "balanced" reporting

This is an excellent idea and shold be strongly encouraged where there is a strong case and identifiable culprits.

Of course, litigation can be expensive for an individual but there is always the possibility of fund-raising events like concerts, readings, film shows etc as well as collections and donations.

As well as getting justice and hopefully compensation for victims of islamic violence and intimidation, there would be the added benefit of media attention bringing unacceptable activities to the attention of a wider public.

It appears that EVERYONE that holds any critical view of Islam ALWAYS gets a death threat and other types of intimidation that are often carried out. My question is: If Islam is such a great and wonderful religion, why does it need to resort to fear and intimidation to gain and keep converts? The answer is obvious.

San Jose Police Chief Rob Davis was speaking to 7,000 Bay Area Muslims last year at the end of Ramadan, Islam's holy month of fasting, when he suddenly realized that they had gone hungry when he had not. And they were celebrating an experience he did not know.

"It just dawned on me," he recalled. "If I am truly going to understand the nuances of this religion, I should join them in this fast."

So this week, Davis will join the world's nearly 1 billion Muslims in forgoing food and drink from sunrise to sunset in the monthlong observance of Ramadan. Leaders in law enforcement and the Muslim community say they
have never heard of a police chief fasting for the entire month. Last year in the United Kingdom, the highest ranking police officer at New Scotland Yard fasted for one day.

Davis' decision carries enormous weight with Muslims, who remain worried about racial profiling, continued backlash from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and, most recently in San Jose, the fatal police shooting of a
Bosnian Muslim outside a coffee shop…

During Ramadan, Davis plans to break the fast nightly with a different Muslim family, and will extend an invitation to eat at his home.

The police chief, who is a Mormon, said his decision to observe Ramadan is not motivated by politics or publicity but by a desire to "truly
understand." Davis made the commitment when he was the deputy police chief and now, as the chief, he believes fasting can help him connect with a community that is growing in the South Bay…

Since Sept. 11, 2001, the San Jose Police Department has taken steps to improve relations between officers and area Arab-Americans and Muslims, some of whom were targeted in a wave of harassment and violence. In the
days after the attacks, San Jose police responded to a spike in reported
hate crimes, including ethnic slurs on answering machines, a mutilated rat
on a doorstep and racist graffiti at a high school.

Davis read about Islam, visited a mosque and was invited to speak at the Eid al-Fitr, an annual celebration marking the end of Ramadan. At last
year's festival, Davis said he found his inspiration and announced he would
fast the next Ramadan…

In Islam, Ramadan is the ninth month of the lunar calendar. Because the
lunar calendar is about 11 days shorter than the solar calendar, the holy
month of fasting rotates every year. This year, it is expected to begin on
Friday or Saturday, depending on whether a new moon is sighted on Thursday
night. Ramadan will last 29 or 30 days.

Muslims believe that during the ninth month in the seventh century, God
revealed the first verses of the Koran, Islam's holy text, to the prophet
Muhammad. As a sign of deference, observers of Ramadan abstain from eating,
drinking and sex during the daylight hours. But every night, feasts mark
the breaking of the fast, or Iftar.

Looks like the "Victim-envy" syndrome worked on the Cheif,the usual "Faked-Phone threats",self-inflicted Vandalism on Mosques,fake-reports by Muslim females that someone looked at them as if they were a terrorist,Public pools that don't have "Muslim-only" days,jails that don't serve Halal meals or have a prayer-room or mock-Mosque,and so on and so on.

We had a Mayor that rode in the Gay-Pride
while police were standing by allowing nudity in front of children.This Mayor claimed to be the "Mayor for all people",until he won the election then he avoided certain events opposed by the Militant-Gay eliment in the City.
One Politician refused to attend a Christmas function and yet another spoke at a fundraising event for the Terrorist group "Tamil-Tigers".

There's a reason why the Fore-Father's gave people the right to bare arms,they feared the day when leaders would destroy the freedoms and democracy that many died for by allowing foreign powers to force their values on Americans.
Many of the leaders claiming to be tolerant and
open to others are the same ones that live in well-Policed,wealthy/white neighbourhoods.
It's pretty easy to profess you're not a bigot when you aren't exposed to the opportunity to display your hidden hate.
