Holland: "Thou Shalt Not Kill" = racism

I wrote at some length yesterday about Muslim advocacy groups crying "racism" at any hint of criticism — but this one is far beyond that. It shows that large numbers of Muslims do not share many of the values that most Westerners assume they share. It also shows that at least some are demanding that the Dutch abandon all vestiges of Christianity in their culture.

The blogspot Live From Brussels (thanks to all who alerted me to this) tells us about Dutch artist Chris Ripke, who painted a mural containing the words "Thou shalt not kill" ("Gij zult niet doden") in response to the murder of Theo van Gogh:

But because the head of the nearby mosque complained to the police that this was 'offensive' and 'racist', the cops came and sent in city workers to sandblast the mural. A local journalist, Wim Nottroth, who wanted to protest against this by standing in front of the mural was arrested. His story, in Dutch, here. Video of the event, here. It has come to this.

Posting from Holland! What we have here basically amounts to a large population of religious fascists that receive help from leftwing collaborators in parliament and the media. It goes all the way up to the queen, whose daughter-in-law (daughter of a man who was part of the Argentinian Videla-regime) says we should (meaning the Dutch people as the monarchs themselves of course don't have to do anything, they just collect our taxes) keep talking and together find a new shared identity. Well excuse me but I don't want to share an identity with any muslim! And I don't want to talk with them either! The muslims now say that it was Van Gogh's own fault and that he had it coming! They demand Ayaan Hirsi Ali step down because she will get more people killed! They feel our freedom of thought and speech ends with their little death cult, we are not allowed to criticize it or ridicule it. "There can never be a Life of Mohammed the way there was a Life of Brian," I heard a muslim say on tv yesterday. And you know what, a lot of these multicultural freaks agree with them. "Let's not upset them, let's not make them angry. Let's show some respect." How about they show us some respect? They come to our country in droves yet they don't like our lifestyle and the way we think. Get lost, then! Don't come here! We sure as hell don't want you! They give their true nature away without people realizing it by actually saying that if people don't criticise them no one will het hurt. But they're not fanatics, of course. These are your average middle-of-the-road moderate muslims. As long as you let them prosper and do whatever the hell Allah told them to do they won't kill anyone. Just show respect and mind your own business while they continue to grow more powerful and we more weak. Let's trust these people with our lives once they're a majority, I'm sure they'll be everso grateful we let them walk all over us. All it will cost us is some Jews, gays, womens rights and our dignity. What's not to like about it?

Unbelievable. Depressing. I feel sick.

A clash of civilizations is inevitable. These sick people will have to be driven out of our countries.

If all things are even, shouldn't Holland ban the Qur'an because it states "slay the idolaters wherever you find them"? What could possibly be more "offensive and racist"?

Posted by: Mike [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 5, 2004 2:29 PM

Let's see if I have this right ...

A man gets murdered by muslims because he tells the truth about Islam..

Another man protests the murder of this innocent man by making a mural that states, "Thou Shalt not Kill"

And the muslims in that society only protest the protester and not the murderer?

And instead of shaking up the whole rotten system the governmenet says, "respect them?"

People of Holland, you are in deep sh*t, you're fighting for your lives and your referee is in your opponents pocket...

You can start practicing now...

Walk quickly, keep your head down and your eyes lowered. Move off the sidewalk if you see Muslims coming. Say often how Islam is a religion of peace and justice...even as you bury your dead.

G-d help you ...

Dutch friends, when is the next election?

Posted by: JTF [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 5, 2004 2:38 PM

And why does the BBC continue to use the very gruff photo of Van Gogh with the green hospital shirt and cigarette?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3985291.stm

Compare that photo with the glowing martyr's portrait of Arafat in sad yellow light.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3984711.stm

THE MESSAGE: Van Gogh, the murdered provocature. Arafat, the messiah for whom we shall weep.

The Arab and Muslim contingent in Bush House, together with the many islamisant sympathizers (some of whom do not know anything about Islam but do think to protect or promote it is a way to express their anti-American and anti-Israel prejudices), is very strong. It would require a copmletely new attitude, including removing the BBC World Service's John Simpson, with all his works and days -- one has only to google "Simpson" and "Hounam" to find out all you need to know about him, and to end the Foreign Office (Jack Straw, believe it or not, is not even the dumbest, least-informed and most biased man at the Foreign Office -- strange but true! Don't go looking for Sir Reader Bullard, or J. B. Kelly, or anyone who actually knows something about the Muslim Middle East -- well, maybe someone inadvertently managed to get in, you never know).

Blair, too, the great hero of The Weekly Standard, when it comes to Islam suddenly gets all misty-eyed and confused. He may really believe that the "Israel-Palestine" (the newest formulation of the Jihad against Israel) really is the fons et origo of everything.

Too bad at Question Time that no one asked him to relate the "question of Palestine" to the killing of Theo van Gogh, to the murders in Besland, to the latest destruction of churches in the Moluccas, to the continued killing of HIndus in Bangladesh, and to another several dozen incidents, involving Muslims attacking all sorts and conditions of non-Muslims, and their houses of worship, and the principles of their societies, across the globe.

It would have been funny to record Blair relating one outrage after another to -- that little affair in eastern Asia, and that miniscule sliver of land (0.2% of the total land area possessed by the Arabs) known as Israel.

Tony Blair has had his momeny of glory, but further admiration of him in Washington is entirely misplaced. Unfortunately, many of the Conservative leaders are just as bad.

Mark Steyn, when asked whom he would vote for, replied crisply: Vote UKIP.

A good idea. A vote against Patten, Solana, and the entire E.U. crew. And a vote for that talk show host, fired by the BBC, for daring to suggest that as far as Arab contributions to world civilization, there was little there there.

Chris Ripke GETS IT. He's managed to bait the intolerance of Holland's cultural imperialists and the servitude of the dhimmi authorities out into the open for all to see.
Holland is facing a sophisticated adversary in its midst. It will exploit its liberality, but that liberality can also be turned against them. Chris Ripke has figured this out.

Thanks Robert for the video link, it is much appreciated.

How strange it would be if Holland, that bastian of liberalism , becomes the first to face down the scourge of Islam, and how wonderful it would be to see unbelievably brave people like Aayan Hirsi Ali vindicated.

I have been reading another blog concerning the murder of Theo van Gogh. A muslim on the blog made the statement that you can not insult Islam, the penalty is death. He said that to anyone on that blog should try to insult Islam to a muslim "to their face- see what you get" Of course there are some there that try to appease, saying " I didn't insult Islam" to which the muslim replied " just be a good boy, and you'll be alright" Just lie back and enjoy it! I am amazed that western countries are helping these neanderthals gain power.

What I find interesting, in the wake of the 2004 election, is how European 'elites' (and their Hollywood friends) sob and moan about the death of freedom in America, the loss of free speech, the vaguely-defined 'culture of fear' created by Bush. If only America wasn't so stupid, they say--if only it was more like us, the world would live in peace.

Yet an unmolested Michael Moore is free to spew his hateful conspiracy theories with no fear or retribution or censure, regardless of who he offends. Demonstrators in Portland are free to burn the President in effigy, knowing full well that the worst that will happen to them is a few hours spent in a local jail. Oppression, they'll cry. We live in a police state, they'll shriek. Bush took our freedom away, they'll claim.

Bah. Which culture embraces freedom more? The one that allows a Michael Moore to make millions by peddling lies, or one in which the slightest attempt at expressing one's values is quashed in the name of appeasement (for example, the "Thou shalt not Kill" mural incident)???

Wake up, Europe, for all our sakes.

(...and Euro-elites accuse the *USA* of living in denial!!!)

Speaking of Moore,I just saw "Team America" and Moore is one of the puppets used to promote the
"Anti-Peace" agenda. Moore's face is covered with mustard from the two hotdogs he's jaming
into his mouth, and later he becomes a suicide bomber to stop the violence against terrorists
by Team America which just want to prevent mass murder by Islamists.

Also, lets not overlook that the follower they exalt and worship, screwed the ass off a 9 year old child that was a gift from Allah for him being such a good example of a Muslim.

It is the vision of multi-culturalism that posits that all cultures if not equal, are at the least, able to live and co-exist peacefully with each other. In the main this is true, but with the exception of Islam. All the texts of Islam, its practices and its history, past and present, indicate that co-existence in peace, is not Islam's goal.

So to Liberals who may read this, who flinch at the prospect of criticising another's religious beliefs, I post this thought. The whole multi-cultural project, which in the main has many positive attributes, is in danger of collapsing, simply because one of the apples in the basket is a rotten one. Surely that is not what any sane person, liberal or otherwise, likes to see happen.

One is thus forced to consider alternate strategies, particularly when confronted by an increasing Muslim population, and its total rejection of multi-culturalism and the basic tenets of Western civil values. Sooner or later, to save multi-culturalism, one will have to consider the proposition that those who follow Islam cannot by the very nature of their beliefs, co-exist peacefully with others. Force, of one sort or another becomes imperative, if for no reason then to protect all the rest of the multi-cultural quilt of many colours.

DP111 - Good post.

Sooner rather than later, this problem MUST be addressed. I'm afraid that the solution won't be pretty!

Expecially after the murder the reaction to the complaint by that head of the mosque on the part of the authorities should have been like: Why are we not complaining that you are conducting your brainwashing sessions five times a day in your fine establishment? Because of you and the likes of you there is violence and uncertainty everywhere. Why in the world are people afraid to just say it! Don't they understand that the word "rasist" is just their weapon! Let them and their friends the liberals yell and scream this word - this is how they protect themselves, this is how they intimidate you from stating your point of view, from facing the facts.

Posted by: Sherlock [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 5, 2004 10:45 PM

The police could have saved time and effort while pleasing the sencibilites of the mosque mob by mearly sandblasting the " not " from the mural so that it would read " Thou Shalt Kill ".

Liberals beware:radical islam seems to prosper mostly in the most liberal countries such as Holland.
As soon as they will get more power and shari a law will become the law of the land, you, liberals, will be the firsts on the islamic hit list.

One solution, drive them out or waste them all. They trashed out the countries they came from and the stupid socialist appeasers are going to let them trash out Europe!

Posted by: Jakester [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 6, 2004 12:40 AM

For such a dangerous "religion" and its homicidal practitioners there just might have to be a final solution. Its just to dangerous to have a bunch of Charlie Manson wannabe's running around looking for a Jew or Christian to kill so that they can go to the great bacchanal in the sky. How did western civilization every let these maniacs within their borders.

Oh, this is priceless, this is absolutely priceless!

Thank you, JW for this one, those dickhead slaves of allah just keep handing out free ammunition on a plate which we can pop in the old counter-jihad battle of ideas shotgun and blast right back at them.

This one is a solid gold diamond encrusted slug-

"Islamic extremists are only a tiny minority who don't speak for real muslims"? oh, yeah? put this one in your bong and smoke it lib-left dhimmis!

"But, but, why would those nice imams possibly object to a peaceful point being made on the unacceptable to all reasonable human beings murder of a film-maker?" the sweet reasonable decent Bush-hating liberal citizens will ask when they hear this one!

Better to ignore the blatant ritual slaughter of someone for expressing his opinions than to upset your friendly local mosque?, won't that make the people of Holland wonder WTF their government thinks of them?

Keep it coming, muslims, keep it coming, in every day in every way you're opening peoples eyes to your lunacy!

Posted by: saoirse [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 6, 2004 7:27 AM

Europe has gone really, totally, insane. This one somehow beats it all. After the post-murder march for freedom of speech, the police goes and sandblasts that sentence at an imam's request? I love Nossy's comment. Pretty logical that reversing the "racist" (that is Christian?) sentence would have made it "not racist" (that is, Islamic?)!

Is there any Dutch-speaking person out here who'd like to translate Nottroth's story into English and post it?

I live in a Country where Muslims only make up
about 1 percent of the population but want to rule as if they're the majority.
After purging the public school system of any trace of Christianity as part of their belief to keep religion and State seperated, they now want Islam taught in those schools under the guise of
anti-Racism workshops. Now there's a move to change all the transit stops that are based on saints or refer to a non-Muslim faith in the title
of a station or bus route.
If this is what they're demanding while only being 1 percent of the citizens(actually CAIR counts any Muslim in the Country) then what will happen when my Country gets to be like Holland.
Will I be shot and knifed to death for offending a Muslim that has a mental problem with respecting free speech, will all public classrooms be forced to display a Quran and hold Friday prayers to avoid terrorism by Islamists performing Jihad like they did in Russian to children returning fromm the summer break.

I say we ban the Quran but allow people to be Muslims, this way they'll have a reason to not come here or a good reason for leaving to go to an Islamic Sharia ruled State.
Are these the same self professed fighters of justice that fired a Catholic employee for eating non halal food in the staff lunchroom.
Name me one Islamic Nation thats invented any mordern hightech devices including cars and aircrafts. I keep hearing about the great intelligence pool within Islam since it's the true faith guide by Allah knowledge,so where's the
pool of geneous Muslims that get all the awards for furthering mankind towards peace and justice.

A few months ago on a French T.V. network I watched an interview of two young French girls, converts to radical Islam. Both were raised in radical secular homes by leftist parents. At one point, one of the girls stated that she didn't see anything wrong with stoning a women to death.....just as long as she agreed to be stoned! These two gals were so brainwashed that every millimetre of their conciousness was occupied by Islam. They had abdicated critical thought to such an absurd extent that both could properly be classed as sociopathic.

One more thing, any human individual that accepts such barbaric practices and such twisted insane logic probably wouldn't hesitate a minute to carry out a suicide attack. One can be so brainwashed as to require forced isolation from the larger society.

It's a question of security.....not racism.
