Stoning in France

This stoning, which seems to have taken place in or near Marseilles, could be an event comparable to the murder of Theo van Gogh: another herald of the willingness of Muslims in Europe to take it upon themselves to enforce Sharia provisions. A friend in Marseilles has sent in this article from a French-language journal, 20 Minutes. My rough translation:

The alleged murderer of a 23-year-old Tunisian woman, whose stoned body was discovered on October 20, has been placed in police custody. The suspect, 18, arrested Sunday at his home, is an old acquaintance of the victim. He will be presented before the examining magistrate today.

Muslim males aren't a good example of real men are they? Sexually inadequate punks who treat women worse than animals.

It's just a shame we can't legally do more to break their spirit, and their bones.

When muslims reach 50 percent of the population, will they even be taken into police custody?

I live in France and had to read Jihad Watch to learn about this story. 20 Minutes is a free regional newspaper and it may be that the story only appeared in the Marseilles edition. I agree with Robert Spencer that like the murder of Theo Van Gogh, yet a new symbolic low in islamic barbarity has been reached.

The selectivity of the media in this country in choosing what to publish is sickening. Tonight I watched the news on France 3 TV and there was a live interview with the Ambassador of Israel on the subject of Arafat's demise. The ambassador calmly faced a barrage of innuendos from a young interviewer who displayed the sharpness of mind of a reality show contestant. The ambassador's first statement was that he sincerely passed on his condolences to Arafat's family. He then went to to express the fact that the path to peace in the Middle East will continue and that israel will make the concessions required to ensure this as soon as terrorism ends. By any standards this must be considered a very positive message. However these statements went right over the head of the dimwitted blue eyed interviewer who interupted with comments of infantile profundity. He would have been more at home at the so called anti-racism march on Sunday holding the banner reading "Pas de guerre entre les peuples, pas de paix entre les classes"

In any case, he was totally outclassed by the ambassador.

Oh, and by the way was nothing in the news on the stoning to death of this girl.

Liberté, Egalité, Islamité.

I'm wondering if the suspect will cough up other names. It takes a lot of rock throwing to kill someone, even if she is bound.

Thanks for the link, apostate_islam.

I note there is a stoning decree in Pakistan on the list of those being protested?

Any sightings of Naseem near this one [thread] or shall we post it where she is more likely to see it (JW)?
