How accomodating these French dhimmis are. From the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to G. Zsigmond:
Israel's ambassador to France has criticized the French government for issuing a death certificate for deceased Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat stating his place of birth as Jerusalem."I cannot understand how the French government agreed to issue a death certificate based on false information," ambassador Nissim Zvili told a press conference in Montpellier, AFP reported.
Municipal officials at Clamart, the suburb of Paris where Arafat died on November 11, said they issued the document on the basis of a family record book itself issued by the French foreign ministry in 1996.
Arafat was born Mohammed Abdel-Rawf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Hussaini, on August 4, 1929.
The official version of his life history records he was born in Jerusalem. However numerous biographers agree that he was, in fact, born in Cairo, where his father, from Gaza, owned a business.

Well, the Paleos got their way because otherwise they would throw a fit and we can't have that, can we? They have co-opted other civilization's progress where ever they are able to insert themselves. Jerusalem, being established by King David is a Jewish city, home of the Jewish temples. The muslims can not allow that can they? They must build their mosques on top of the holy places of other faiths to show dominance. You don't have to be right- just dominant.

A sentence missing from the above JPost article but reported on Arutz Sheva (http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=72662) puts the incident in a harsher light:
"The ambassador is seeking to understand how it is that Arafat entered the Percy Medical Center registered as having been born in Cairo, but when he died, his place of birth was registered as Jerusalem."
So the question is, how can the French claim he was born in two places?

Yet another reason to hate the french. Just how low can they go in grovelling to the arabs? But, if you think about it, france's history is full of bloody terror ( the massacres of the Cathars, the Knights Templar, the Hugenots, the aristocrats, the Jews in WW2), so it makes sense they would ally themselves with the islamofascists. France is finished - time to start disinvesting now. Boycott French goods....

If Chirac can say that "Europe owes as much to Islam as it does to Christianity" that is far worse a lie than lying on official records about Arafat -- who, as the whole world knows, was born in Cairo and spoke Arabic with an Egyptian accent that he never managed entirely to shed.
Why the French are entangling themselves in lies, little and big, and how their ruling classes think that will get them out of the real fix they are in, is beyond understanding.
