Pakistan to Newsweek: Bad dhimmis! Funny thing, however: I don't seem to recall Pakistani authorities condemning the murder of van Gogh with anything like the vigor they have shown in destroying Snoozeweek's entire print run. From the BBC, with thanks to Jeff Lastname:
The latest issue of US news magazine Newsweek has been banned in Pakistan for publishing material that "desecrates the Koran". A district magistrate in the capital, Islamabad, ordered all copies of the 22 November issue to be destroyed.The issue contains an article about murdered Dutch film-maker Theo Van Gogh and pictures of a woman with Koranic verses inscribed on her body.
Islamic parties said the article showed Western bias against Muslims.
Controversial film
Magistrate Tariq Mahmood Pirzada said the article, Clash of Civilisations, "contained some objectionable remarks which are tantamount to desecration of the Koran"....
The Dawn newspaper said the article was a "naked attack on Muslims' faith. It hurts the feelings of over a billion inhabitants of this Earth".

Always remember the following:
1. Muslims hold ALL non-Muslims in contempt and disdain as all are less and only worthy of dhimmitude and/or slavery.
2. Muslims are intent upon taking over as they are accustomed to being in charge and feel humiliated when non-Muslims are.
3. Muslims don't give a damn about your feelings or your opinion only as much as it affects public opinion and holds them up in a bad light.. (See # 1)
4. Give them a inch and they'll take a mile. (see # 2)
5. Remember the practices of taqiyya and kitman. Charges of insensitivity, racism, islamophobia and the like are an example. (see # 3.)
Never give people more than five things to remember at a time!

Everything hurts their poor little feelings. Why don't they just learn to have thicker skins and save the world from a lot of violence and bloodshed?

Surely the feelings of more than 5 billion Infidels would be wounded beyond all healing if they knew what is said about them in Qur'an, hadith, and sira. Pakistan can ban Newsweek; can we ban the canonical texts of Islam, since they are far more upsetting, and dangerous, to us, than a single Newsweek article -- which is not taken as the truth to be memorized, and read, and recited, day after day.
A little symmetry here, please.

I have said for a long time now that CAIR and their ilk seem more concerned over hurt feelings and backlash than the actual beheadings and murders of non-Muslims.
Just check out this newspaper story of a Muslim that slit the throat of another Muslim over a dispute on opening a new Mosque in Windsor Ontario Canada.
The story shows Muslims far more worried about backlash and perception of Islam than the person murdered by a Muslim. This lack of value for human life is the cancer that will destroy the west if it's allowed to flurish.
Also note how the denial and paranoia have taken over the Muslims compassion for the victim,they denounce the murder as un-Islamic.

Who'd have thought that a spineless rag like that could actually say anything that would get anyone worth-irritating irritated?
Or was it a 'mistake' that they will grovellingly apologize for in the next issue?
But, when will the "billion muslims" apologize for anything?
First of all -to the 1/2 billion of them who are women for the pithed-frog treatment that their testosterone-poisoned "he-man woman hater's club" Koran, Hadith and sira decree.
I know that's illogical...[how can the billion apologize to half of themself] but what am I dealing with when you can open a page and find something in the Qu'ran like:
"The two hands of Abu Lahab have perished, and he has perished... He will roast in a fire... And his wife will be the carrier of the fuel, About her neck a rope of [burning] palm fibre." -Sura 111 -Dover Thrift Edition- Selected Suras.
A curse by Mohammed, with the ridiculous formulaic
opening, in this case: "In the Name of Allah, The Merciful and Compassionate".
It's as if they're in a fugue state, and the left brain doesn't hear what the right brain is saying.
Hebephrenic, it could be called, except that they're so Hebe-phobic.
