Iranian official: Turk move to join EU good for Islam

And Turkey is "ready to make use of Iran's judicial experiences." From Ettelaat International, with thanks to Ali Dashti:

TEHRAN - Iranian Deputy Judiciary chief for executive affairs Amir Abbas Sohrab Beig in Ankara on Monday called for expansion of judicial cooperation between Iran and Turkey.

In his meeting with Turkish Minister of Justice Cemil Cicek, he appreciated Turkey's efforts to join the European Union (EU) and termed the move as being in favor of the world of Islam, IRNA reported from Ankara.

Sohrab Beig also submitted the message of Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi to the Turkish minister inviting him to visit Iran.

For his part, Cicek stressed that his country is ready to make use of Iran's judicial experiences. He expressed hope that he will visit Iran within the next three or four months.
