Films which Mr Pipes (obviously not a film buff!) doesn't mention include 'The Siege' (prescient pre-9/11 thriller about Islamic terrorists in the US); 'Dirty War', a BBC TV movie about Islamists detonating a dirty bomb in the heart of London, and 'Fatima', a British 'social realism' drama from the Ken Loach school of LLL filmmaking which portrays UK Muslims as innocent victims goaded into terrorist acts by western racism (free pass, anybody?) I'm glad to say this film has had trouble finding a distributor (outside of France, of course.)

Hollywood seems to have chosen to cautiously approach the WoT symbolically through history-based dramas. So Ridley Scott has just made 'Kingdom of Heaven', a Saladin versus Crusaders epic about the Siege of Jerusalem. Two rival movies about US marines attacking Barbary pirates in Tripoli have been announced. And there are also rival versions planned of the Siege of Malta, in which a huge Islamic army besieged a small number of Christian knights (kind of like 'Zulu', only with knights and Turks.)

The best thriller about Islamic terrorists in the US is probably 'Black Sunday', a 70's John Frankenheimer film in which Mossad agents help the FBI to track down Palestinians planning to blow up the SuperBowl. When it was originally released it got panned as 'too unbelieveable'. How times have changed...

The Canadian songwriter Leonard Cohen once wrote a poem about the Nazi engineer of the death camps, Adolf Eichmann, which makes the same point:

the devil never comes wearing horns and a red suit.

The Muslim fanatics aren't stupid.

They know how to deceive their hosts. (It is called 'protective coloration'.) And, even more cunningly, know how to use the secular world's own laws against their legal system itself, to tangle up the naive with endless knots of irrelevant jurisprudence and cries of 'racism', etc., as they continue (like the 'blind sheik' in his NY state prison cell) plotting the downfall of the West (with the help of 'useful idiot' lawyers).

The Koran is a handbook for unearthly mind doom.

Anyone following its guidelines should be considered suspect -as fatally credulous, at best-for believing the book's hateful irrationalism (larded with some phony calls for 'compassion' to make it seem less nuts and easier to swallow).

But that's not a 'P.C.' thing to say (which, to me, always means: 'Psycholgically Corrupt').

I’ve read the posts asking for Jihadwatch readers to provide ideas for what we might do to help spread the word. From what I’ve seen so far, there are some great ideas and you have my complete support. I would suggest though that we’d be remiss in our efforts if first we didn’t recognize and show our tangible support and appreciation to Robert and Hugh for running the Jihadwatch site. They’re providing a great service and doing outstanding work--I think we should do what we can to help them continue that work.

With that said, I’m challenging all Jihadwatch readers to donate $100.00 (or whatever you can) to jihadwatch.org AND to send at least one of Robert’s books to someone (friend, foe, family, politician, etc.).

*lol* that's perfect. I've also heard 'politically convenient,' which explains a lot of what kerry and co. do and say. It's the vote, not the beliefs of the voter, which is why they court the muslim vote.

I love FOX broadcasting,The Simpsons,FOX news.I haven't watched that 24 show but I'll keep my eye out for that episode.

I've been in retail for about 25 years and have met and known people from just about every middle eastern country there is.
I was at a friends warehouse the other night.This guy is as western as me.He swears,he smokes,he wears western clothes and he's always happy and joking.
His cell phone rang and he looked at the number and turned his phone off.I looked at him and said laughingly "Well,I guess it wasn't too important,eh?" to which he replied "I know who it is,it's my wife.She wan't me to come home so she can eat."

I just stood there stunned for a moment.I didn't pry any further.The way he said it it didn't sound like some loving thing she did just for him.I lost a lot of respect and trust that I had for him that evening.

Is that a common practice among Arab born muslims?

The difference between the way Moslem men treat women and the way they treat cattle is that cattle are able to go outside the home unsupervised, they aren't sexually mutilated, and Moslem men don't eat the women they kill.

I can't put that across to a television audience. I'm one man in the middle of nowhere, and the best I can do is type. But i can type this message to you: Together we can combine our talents and make a force that will rival and eventually destroy Islam itself.

For you it might not be right to hand out leaflets, but you probably have some other talent you can put to good use in this struggle.

Well this Hollywood epic should shake the tree, assuming of course that the director, Ridley Scott, is faithful to the historical facts: Kingdom of Heaven. As a minimum we can hope that artistic expressions like this stimulate a critical examination of the cause and true history of the Crusades to bubble up in the public discourse. The scourge of jihad is compelling us to remember our own history. I just hope that it is not too late to avoid a global conflagration.

Another film involving Islamic terrorists was True Lies starring none other than California's own Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar. Let's hope he is as effective in his current job as his character was in the movie!

"Wrong Is Right": An interesting and much overlooked film made in 1982 is definitely worth watching. Stars Sean Connery.

Here is the plot summary from Amazon.com:

A buffoonish US President from Texas (with a token
black woman on his White House staff) finds out
(during an election year) that an Arab terrorist
group is planting two bombs in the World Trade
Center in NYC.

His critics say there is no evidence of these
WMDs. In the end, he "finds" the bombs and uses it
as justification to invade the Arab country he
suspects of planting them. The Arab country, it
turns out, had nothing to do with the planned WTC
attack. Actually, the CIA planted the bombs as
part of the president's re-election strategy.
(This fact remains a secret from the public).

Even though the president has the lowest approval
ratings ever, he gets a boost from the
unjustified war in the Middle East and wins
re-election (and his cronies in Texas get control
of the Arab oil fields).

Dear CAIR, I just wanted you to know that the woman who played the mother in the "24" episode all the radical Muslims are angry about (well, they aren't happy unless they're bitchin' about something)was on Fox News this morning. She's from Iran, and she's a true blue hottie. A sex symbol. She wore nice jewelery, and was dressed to the nines. She's gorgeous.....No Hijab either.....

I love 24, and I'm glad to see that they won't be caving in to political correctness. These days, Islamlic terrorists are a real threat. You can't argue about it. Did people complain about movies made in the 1940s that made Germans and Japanese the bad guys? For the movie version of Sum of All Fears, the villain was changed to an Austrian neo-Nazi so Muslims wouldn't be offended. If anyone's making Muslims look bad, it's other Muslims. But CAIR and others like them just blames infidels.

The majority of people watch shows like this one for entertainment purposes, likely most wouldnt have even drawn a line between "regular" muslim families and "all of them being terrorists"...but thanks to the bitching of CAIR, now they will...thanks CAIR we need an organization like you on our side to point out the less obvious messages in our regular entertainment pertaining to muslims and muslim activity and making the regular folk aware.

If I was a bigshot movie producer, I would be charging ahead with a movie based on John P. O'Neill, whose family is suing CAIR for zillions.

I read a long article about him and it was an amazing story that read like thriller fiction. As an FBI agent he spent years warning about UBL and Al-Queda, warnings which were mostly ignored. Frustrated, he quit the FBI and took a job as head of security for the WTC. Just a couple of weeks later, he was killed when he re-entered his burning building to rescue survivors.

Let's hope his family puts CAIR out of the taquiyya business. Permanently.

ATTENTION: Does anyone here know the meaning of the word "fiction" ?

Does anyone out there know that the show '24' is a work of FICTION?

Does anyone out there realize that '24' is intended to be ENTERTAINMENT and that means that this show does not and IS NOT saying that actually ANY ISLAMIC families are similar to the one portayed on the show in any way. Most villains on TV and in feature films are caucasian actors (and they fight over such 'juicy' roles). Yet somehow everyone is aware that most caucasian people do NOT look or act anything like such characters--in this context 'fiction' and all it implies. Do most American wives resemble Joan Collins' character 'Alexis Carrington' on DYNASTY? So why would the fact that a Muslim family portrayed on a television show be regarded as anything as the character it is written as?

The more Muslims object to this show's portrayal of a family as one which seems to be secular and adhering to American laws and culture but in actuality isn't the more these Muslims betray themselves as people in denial that this depiction is probably true to life. The adage "it takes on to know one" seems to apply in this case. That Americans can see through this veneer and find Islam's black heart and show it on the screen is likely the source of these Muslims' discomfort--Americans weren't supposed to know.

Sounds like it will generate a lot of publicity which is a good thing as it will intrigue people enough to verify for themselves some of the effects and then Man-o-man will they be surprised when they actually see it for themselves.

Kinda O.T. but I have been hearing that are friends to the North (Canada) have just started to receive fox news.

I like this sentence in the next paragraph, I didnt see the premier, cause its probably more than preditable but i bet this middle class muslim family looks like my relatives and I'm a Hindu, but no matter to the Jews in hollywood, they want some group in America attacked and if Hindus and Sikhs are dragged in there it alright by them:

We are constantly dehumanized in the media, especially all across the media. There are newspapers in this country run by Israeli extremists that do not allow a day to go by without brown skin bashing, the shelves of Barnes and Noble are all lined with books with evil brown skin niggers on the front covers and lately beginning with the Lord of the Rings, Jews are now employing sophisticated imagry for dehumanization purposes.

Oh, well. I give up for the most part. I'll just keep the blog up and note every media outlet that is bashing brown skin people in this nation. So that when they burn our Hindu temples down and when they get America to start harming us, there will be a record available of who incited all this violence against us.

Because a wake up call is what they really want here in America. Jewish Americans must have it. They control the only access to assimilation in America, the media and they will make sure that brown people are never accepted in America. Never. And they dont care one shit whether you are muslim or not.

If the extremist mullahs and ayatollahs run the arab countries, the extremist Jews in America run our country. Politically correct to say that? Update: Daniel Pipes just lent his endorsement to this show, since he is the Jewish David Duke, just confirms that this show is racist. Too many Jewish names involved in this show with the exception of the actors.

I'm not exactly sure what it is you have against Jews, or against this site, but I'm hoping that you're not credulous enough to believe that we Americans can't tell the difference between Hindus and Muslims, or Arabs and Mexicans, or Indians and French Canadians. We respect all races and cultures, so long as they don't threaten everyone's well-being.

I wasn't aware that Americans had any problem at all with Hindus, probably because they don't. I work with a Hindu, his last name is Patel, and he's a good friend of mine. And how about this? He and I work for Jewish physicians. Oh no, what will the phony race card players do when they learn that we all get along just fine?

Your words make you sound more like the radical type. In fact, they make you sound uninformed as well. It's alright, I welcome you to this site, and the sites linked to it. Pay attention, and you'll learn (hopefully the easy way), that there is no war with skin color, and for you to make that accusation in itself is racist.

Might I suggest that you read Dr. Pipes a bit more in detail, and not fall for the propoganda spewed out by those who use race and religion as a crutch to further their agendas? We don't carry dislike for those of different races or religions. We carry dislike and the intent to do away with those who wish our freedom harm.

Speaking of freedom, isn't it nice to know that you can make the remarks that you make without having your tongue sliced off with a razor? Note, as a follow up to my post: The United States population includes approximately 26 million African-Americans, and approximately 25 million Latin-Americans. We hear very little complaining from either of these communities, because we are not at war with them. We love them as Americans and as people.

Here's some food for thought Mr. Too Many Nazis;

People that come to live in America for the most part, want to live like Americans. Some, however, come to live in America with the expectations of living their life the same way they did in the land that they left. The nations of the West, and their citizens should never, ever be expected to conform to the culture of migrants. We have our own culture here, and it should be respected by anyone that lives here.

Lastly, we have posters here from all over the world, so I should say, and do say that we, not just Americans, but all of us, are able to tell the difference between Hindus and Muslims, or Arabs and Mexicans, or Indians and French Canadians, etc.
