The media, Fox or CNN or the BBC, do not matter as much as people seem to think. You are the media. You get your opions from others, and they from you, a dialogue of imformed adults in conversation. Don't assume that simply because you don't have a world-wide press-run that you don't affect as many people in the course of your personal day as do the main stream media. Your friends will believe you more readily than they will anything they hear and see on television. You are the media. Talk to your friends and explain to them the story as you know it to be.

Bring out even one person a day who actually agrees with you but is afraid t admit it, and you'll have two people doing the same tomorrow.

Most people simply do not want to be seen as cranks and weirdos and right-wing religious bigots. I am coming to the conclusion that the Constitution was rendered virtually null and void when Lincoln prevented the South from seceeding- the sovernty of the states was destroyed and the omnipotent centralized federal government was created. I watched 24 tonight, and it didn't appear to have had any scenes deleted from the program. None at all. And, I'm happy to report that we didn't have to endure any infomercials about the great "religion of peace" before, during or after the show.

The show went off well, as one of the Islamic terrorists knew he was about to be busted, told his fellow Islamic terrorist be cell phone "allah akbar", then drove head on into an oncoming cement truck.....typical

It was a very good depiction. It will continue next week, but for everyone who has watched it from the beginning last week, they get the message. No matter what is deleted now, it really doesn't matter.

I hadn't heard that Fox was deleting scenes - only that they were "making available to their local affiliates" several "public service announcements" depicting American Mahometans in a positive light. It sounded to me like it would be up to each local station whether or not it played the PSA's.

Can anyone confirm that scenes are being deleted? This sounds like CAIR propaganda to me. I can't imagine Fox would knuckle under so easily. Unless, of course, there were threats. But who could imagine Moslems doing such a thing?

Does anyone have a contact address for Fox so I can check up on this?

Sure, Islam has a lot of shady followers and practices, but so do most religions. Christians, have been directly responsible for such reprehensible crimes such as: The Inquisition ("Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"), the holocaust(Yes, the holocaust... Indeed Hitler was NOT an atheist, but a christian), The Crusades, the massacre of the native americans, witch burnings etc. And how stupid is it to worship a dead guy on a cross. If you're going to attack Islam, be fair and attack organized religion as a whole. As far as all this "24" business is concerned, law-abiding, tax-paying muslim-americans have the right to protest, just as the jewish-americans had the right to protest Mel Gibson's depiction of the jews in "Passion".
