PARIS (Reuters) - "Filthy Jew!" schoolchildren howl at a classmate. "Jews only want money and power," they tell their teachers. "Death to the Jews" graffiti appear on school walls outside Paris and other French cities.These are not scenes from the wartime Nazi occupation or a fictional France where the far-right has taken control. Outright anti-Semitism like this is a fact of life these days in the poor suburbs where much of France's Muslim minority lives.
After a slow response when this "new anti-Semitism" flared four years ago, France has made fighting prejudice against Jews into a national priority. Holocaust education in state schools now starts with pupils as young as nine years old.
But even the best plans for teaching about the Nazi massacre of Jews can fall short when confronted with an Islamic identity spreading among a minority of France's five million Muslims.
"It works with those who are ready to listen," said Iannis Roder, a history teacher in the tough northern suburbs of Paris. "But it doesn't work with those who won't listen. They have their minds made up."
Roder is one of several history teachers who sounded an alarm in 2002 about a wave of anti-Semitism among Muslim pupils, much of it a reaction to the uprising by Palestinians against Israeli control of their lands.
Their outspoken book "The Lost Territories of the Republic" opened France's eyes to classrooms where some Muslim pupils openly denounced Jews, praised Hitler and refused to listen to any non-Muslim teacher talking about the history of Islam.
Such tension has prompted Jewish pupils in these areas to switch to private Jewish or even Catholic schools.
"Muslim pupils react less now to what happens in the Middle East," Roder said. "But the situation hasn't really changed. As soon as you talk about Jews in some historical event, there are (anti-Semitic) comments."

Old news actually.
But dont dare to protest against it, or you're against Islam or their Identity.
Just like today's slaughtering of lambs.
Brussels minister for Hygiene Emir Kir has placed containers (dumpsters) in some neighbourhoods of the Brussels Capital Region so that remains of Home-slaughtered lambs can be dumper there, albeit homeslaughtering is illegal.
In Ghent, city hall has opened a temporary slaughterhouse where they can buy a lamb (+- 100€) & slaughter it. In Leuven they can slaughter their lams in a slaughterhouse for 25€ but most of them find that 25€ is too much to pay for the slaughtering (city hall there pays 25€ for each slaughtered animal,total cost is 50€/animal).
Some think its good that they're assisted by the local governance to perform their rituals.
"Its part of our identity" ...Gaia protested only in Brussels against the slaughtering because of the containers and clearly stating they have nothing against Islam.
Yet, when it comes to local ritual killing of animals its barbaric and should be outlawed, regardless wether or not its tradition/culture/identity...things such as swallowing a living anjovis or the Chicken-run (horsemen whack on a living chicken untill they can whack-off its head, today performed with a rubber chicken). Double standard, Dhimmitude, Positive discrimination...

Just this week a 19 Muslims was convicted in a Montreal Court for torching a Jewish school for children,he blamed it on the middle east issue and threatened more attacking in the letter he posted on the school wall when he
set the fire.
Not one member of the media has called him a "Muslim" arsonist or terrorists,I guess the Theo van Gogh murder had the desired effect here in the West and the slaughter of a Christian family by Muslims in New Jersey pretty well seals islam as a murderous hateful cult hellbent on global control by sharia law.
The close relatives of this weasel were upset by the jail time because they planned a party that night expecting a victory for the palestinians that have suffered from the Jews.
They loved whining to the media until the verdict came down and then they had no comment and mumbled a "Racism" claim.

What is in store for the non-Muslim world as the % of Muslims there increases can be seen by the experience of Hindus in India:

About 3 months ago, they beheaded 12 Nepalese hindus
In response, muslims in Nepal got a 'Gujurat type reprisal'
( about 30000 Nepalese muslims got ethnic cleansed by Nepalese hindu mobs )
and no more Nepalese have been kidnapped in Iraq
Whereas they non-stop behead western hostages
"As a matter of strategy muslims have used ethnic riots worldwide for centuries
and they will be dissuaded only if they get a taste of the same medicine
"So far in the US, the justice system functions and we can expect the courts will jail jihadist muslims
and in the current situation in the US, ethnic riots are not needed
"In India, vote hungry politicians ensure that muslim jihadists are unpunished
The Indian Parliament has about 5 known jihadist terrorists and some of them are even ministers
"Democracies are very vulnerable to vote hungry politicians who patronise jihadis
Fortunately muslims are just 1% of US
They form a large voting block in Michigan and Kerry won Michigan because he was perceived to be soft
on islamic terror
Wait till muslims reach 10% and you will see subversion of democracy by vote hungry politicians
