What they played in Rotterdam instead of Submission

Bowing to Muslim pressure, The Netherlands' principal film festival cancelled a showing of the murdered filmmaker Theo van Gogh's Submission, an exposé of the mistreatment of women mandated by Islamic law.

But they did show Yasmin (thanks to Twostellas for the link), a film that so distorts the reality of anti-Muslim bigotry in England that twice its attempts to film acts of hatred against Muslims were interrupted by non-Muslim bystanders who, unaware that what they were seeing was part of a film, rushed to the aid of the beleaguered Muslims. The film nevertheless portrays Britain as a hotbed of anti-Muslim hatred.

Find Submission online here (thanks to Filtrat).

Well, I guess the wait is over. We know what's going to happen in the Netherlands. The women are being fitted for burkhas.

Interesting muslim response to the film "Yasmin", which aired on UK TV last month. If this was a film aimed at stirring muslim passions about islamophobic Britain, it missed the target by a mile. In fact, it rates as a "red-on-red" shootout.

Except for a - rather pathetic - reversion to Islam at the finale, the heroine could easily have fitted into a script written for her by the BNP (British National Party).

Just about every mode of behaviour in the Pakistani immigrant community that raises right wing hackles got an airing: marriages of convenience for immigration purpose; drug-driven sexual abuse of underage white girls; the economic uselessness of a noticeable proportion of young muslim males. And - here's the irony - a sequence showing active recruitment for the global "Jihad".

The critics must have thought they were looking at the host society through an Islamic window; instead, it was a mirror!

The Rijksmuseum is burning.

I don't know, misskitty. The Dutch (and other European nations) may just draw a line in the sand when it comes to cloistering the female form in a tent.

Follow the Islam on Line Link:

"They are left with the impression that the country where they were born and grew up (Scotland) still views them as Muslim migrants, posing a risk to its security and stability.

The film ends with Yasmin going to the mosque to pray, while Nasser migrates to Afghanistan to join a militant group, stressing his next destination would be occupied Palestine."

Hilarious! These Muslims are so dumb they can't even see the irony.

It sounds as good as "Submission" anyway.

The basic psychy of abusive people is to resort to the "Victim" arguement to hide the
fact that their version of reality justifies
violence or insults as a form of pre-emptive
action to confront a perceived future harm
based on paranoia and denial that they are
the root cause for the hate and violence.
The latest invention of the term "Islamophobia" is part of the pre-emptive
strike to deflect any blame or connection to
the abusive nature of the teachings by Muhammed and the Quran. When someone with a abusive attitude gets in power in businesses the first defense for the behaviour is to blame the victims of their abuse by arguing that YOU'RE overly sensitive and easily hurt from criticism.
The Quran tells of Muhammed's paranoia causing him to raid a local hamlet and slaughter everyone
since they may be a future threat to his version of God's ideal world free of infidels and one
faith that's Islam. Muhammed was a orphan and appears to have some abandonment issue and attachment disorders for females and father figures like his perception of Allah selecting him
as being the special son to tell the world of
the "True" path to paradise.

The proof is in Muhammed's life, paranoia, misogeny, pedophilia, abuse, guilt driven,self-exalting,isolationist,eliteists mindset,no remorse,no personal guilt for crimes, fear of being wrong or questioned, threatening death for disobedience, and on and on.

Ironically Islamic clerics claim "Islam" means Submission, but somehow the movie short "Submission" is blasphemy evn though is uses Quranic verses and factual events of violence.
Hey,if they are so ashamed of their faith then just change faiths, don't hide the facts of violence by slaughtering any persons accusing islam of being violent and harmful to females.

And they showed this film showing alleged anti-Muslim bigotry in England, without any security concerns. No angry Englishmen going on a rampage at the festival or threatening festival organizers? If they had, they probably would have good reason to, since the film goes out of its way to portray the English in a bad light, distorting reality. Yet the film, Submission, shows the reality of many women under Islam.

Welcome to the Brave New World of PeeCee. We're all horrid white oppressors, nasty people always doing horrible things, responsible for the entire world's miseries, especially the Islamic world's miseries. Muslims so good, so nice, so peaceful.

Yes faralee, Islam is immersed in a culture of blame.

Hey hey hey:

Mohammed made a peekaboo into hell, and you know what he saw: "Mostly women in there..."
