Saudi spokesman: suicide bombers are hellbound (except when they aren't) -- oh, and don't kill the dhimmis

In this latest taqiyya session coming out of Saudi Arabia, the head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Sheikh Ibrahim ibn Abdullah Al-Ghaith, explains that suicide bombings fall under the Qur'an's prohibition of suicide. This is in "Al-Ghaith Denounces Suicide Bombings," from Arab News, with thanks to Jeff Lastname. However:

The verse adds that suicide is considered an “injustice” punishable by hell.

Sheikh Al-Ghaith did not address suicide operations by Palestinians and Iraqis. Many Islamic scholars in the Arab world see attacks on occupiers as justifiable.

So it's suicide and punishable by hell unless it's done by Palestinians or Iraqis? What if someone is half-Iraqi? Will only half of him be roasted in hell? Or will he have to serve only half of his sentence there?

Later on in the article, he refers to the dhimmis, showing once again that the concept of dhimmitude is alive and well among Muslims:

Sheikh Al-Ghaith also emphasized the importance of protecting dimmis or non-Muslims living in an Islamic country. “It’s the government’s duty to protect them and if anybody kills such dimmis he will not be able to enjoy even the fragrance of Paradise,” he said, quoting a Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

They must live as despised inferiors subject to institutionalized discrimination, but at least they shouldn't be killed. Gee, I feel so much better.

Camel-milkers, goat and donkey riders, desert dwelling tribes:

Nobody would have ever taken any notice of them if it wasn't for the OIL !!!

It is an insult to anyones intelligence that we should be confronted with this idiotic moon cult, (you know all the rest) this day and age!

We lack the will to rule, for it is also the first time in history that the dominant force does not take over and rule over what is strategically essential...

The Arabs must be rounded up and herded into re-education camps, the Mosques could be used for that purpose, and the imams and the mullahs could make themselves digging trenches and building pigfarms in the desert...

Now did the sauds sponsor a telethon to help pay for suicide bombers and a little old arab lady came up to give the ring off her finger that had been in her family for sooooooo long and does that not sound like a familiar scenario say about 2500 years ago?

"The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice".

Why does it seem that there is always one of these "boards" that rear their hypocratical heads throughout history?

May the common man call it for what it is?

"The Bureaucratic Agenda to Prevent Virtue Amongst the Commission and to Blame Vice on the Populace".

I feel better already.

The truly notable things about the injunction mentioned in the hadiths Al-Ghaith can be summarized as follows: they refer to non-Muslims citizens of Muslim countries - only. al-Buhkari is rife with the same seemingly very peaceful message. But unfortunately, there is nothing in these hadiths about non-Muslim citizens of non-Muslim countries; i.e. those living in dar-el-Harb. Thus, Sura 9 is still 'legitimate' from the 'legalistic' islamic perspective, which on the recognition of an 'attack' (which, invariably, is never incited by islam in the minds of those I debate; after all, the massacre at Beslan was funded by America, didn't you know? And the CIA drove those planes into the twin towers.) allows war until all the non-believers are dead, or convert, or pay heavy and discriminatory taxes for not being muslim. And what defines 'all'? All the attackers? All their towns? All their countrymen? All kufr...everywhere?

Therein lies the problem. I routinely cite this objection in debate, but (as is not untypical at all) I get essentially no response to it).
