From the BBC, with thanks to Joerg and RB:
An Indian Muslim charity has laid claim to the ownership of the world's most famous monument to love, the Taj Mahal. The Sunni Waqf Board controls all Muslim graveyards in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where the spectacular marble monument is located. It says the Taj Mahal houses several Muslim graves other than those of the Moghul royalty and thus falls under its jurisdiction.
Millions seeking romance flock to the Taj Mahal every year.
The monument was built by the 17th century Moghul emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal and has since become a Mecca of sorts for amorous couples....
The Sunni Waqf Board (SWB), a Muslim trust, was given ownership of Uttar Pradesh's Muslim graveyards by the Indian government itself.
The board has issued notices to the Archaeological Survey of India as well as the central government, seeking their reply to its demand by the end of March....
Mr Usman said once the ownership issue had been decided, the board would demand that 7% of the total earnings from tickets should be transferred to its coffers....
Let's see now. How long do you think it will take for the Waqf Board to outlaw kissing and hand-holding around the "monument to love"? How much of that 7% will go straight to terrorist groups -- completely unbeknownst, of course, to Waqf Board officials?

Okay, let's start talking about India. Let's talk about the wonders of the goddam Mughal court, William-Dalrymple style. Let's also discuss the 60-70 million Hindus murdered, the others forcibly converted (present-day Muslims in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are merely the descendants of Hindus -- and in some cases Buddhists -- who were forced to convert, either immediately, or through the intolerable pressure that the Muslim system placed on them.), the tens of thousands of Hindu and Buddhist temples destroyed, the entire Mughal state which, like all Muslim states, existed on the tribute paid by non-Muslims or their property that was seized.
Read Dowson and Elliott's anthology of Indian history, as written by Indians. See what it is all about.
The effrontery, the boldness, the aggressiveness which which this demand is implicit, is what strikes one the most. But it is no different from the astounding aggressiveness with which Muslims everywhere are pushing their demands, and in many cases, non-Muslims can lose, by degrees, the sense of the outrageousness of these demands. That sense should not be lost, lest non-Muslims become mentally complicit in their own undoing.

It was originally a temple for Shiva worship. I won't call out the sites here, but use your search engine. It seems to me that I read an excellent essay a few years ago titled something like "108 Reasons Why Taj Mahal is a Shiva Temple" or something like that.
Turns out that "most" of the examples of "glorious Muslim architecture" in India were Hindu sites prior to the Islamic Crusade, and ALL of those built after were actually built and mostly engineered by Hindu slaves/bondsmen/dhimmis.
The truth is, all of the "glories" of Islam pertaining to math, astronomy, art, architecture, engineering, and all other sciences were stolen from India or slightly improved on ideas stolen from India.

Temple Mount, Taj Mahal, Hagia Sophia, St. Peter's, Notre Dame, St. Paul's, St. Patrick's, National Cathedral, Machu Pichu...ah, yes, it will all "revert" at the rate we're going.

It looks like the Waqf Board has a legitimate claim here under it's existing mandate. But make no mistake, this is just muslim greed under the prextext of Islam(spit). The matter can easily be resolved however, remove all muslim corpses from the property!

This is the website that tells the truth about the Taj Mahal; for instance, Muslim historians and their hangers-on aplenty twist and turn with amazing endeavor to make the phrase "Taj Mahal" into a derivation of "Mumtaz" the name of the sextoy that was buried there. (One of Shah Jahan's 5000 harem whores.) But the local name for the Shiva temple was "Tej Mahalal."
Please remember that English is probably not the author's first language.

The jihad is not just perpetrated by the bombers and other violence, the jihad is exemplified by obnoxious Muslims that make demands that are chipping away at non-Muslim rights and privileges.
Most people will wake up one day with NO IDEA how they came lose out to these people!
