LUXEMBOURG - European Union foreign ministers were urged on Saturday to consider the previously taboo idea of dialogue with Islamic opposition groups in the Middle East to encourage a transition to democracy.They also discussed ways to strengthen emerging democracy movements in several Arab states and persuade authoritarian governments to relinquish some power and accept the principle of alternation, diplomats said....
"In the past the EU has preferred to deal with the secular
intelligentsia of Arab civil society at the expense of the more
representative Islam-inspired organizations," the report said."Has the time come for the EU to become more engaged with Islamic "faith-based" civil society in these countries?" asked the paper co-authored by EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and the bloc's Luxembourg presidency.
They acknowledged that talking to groups with a traditional reading of Islamic Sharia law and very conservative views on the role of women in society would be politically sensitive in some EU states and talked of fixing parameters for such a dialogue.
Diplomats said Britain and Denmark spoke in favor of talking to moderate Muslim activists, and no one opposed it....

The only dialogue the Muslims are interested in is that which centers on the terms of EU surrender. Only when they see the bonfires on the square in front of the Louvre will it be apparent to them that they have doomed themselves and their children to an oppression many times worse than the Nazi occupation. We should not be surprised to learn that the Brits have already drawn up the plans to flood the Chunnel.

Ahhhh, so officially we speak to moderate Muslims and unofficially speak to terrorists of the worst kind. I hope that the EU is keeping the enemy in discussion while cleaning up its own backyard, we can always hope...

Muslims not only believe in the devil (Shaitan), but they also believe in incarnating his most deceptive attributes, especialy the one where he says:
"I am not the devil, I am a prophet. Follow me and I will give the you world!"
Said Satan also tried this with the previous prophet, and got a more perceptive reply:
"Get behind me, demon."
Until Muslims can repeat this insight, we are in for a world of hurt.

Relax. I don't necessarily believe in the devil either but that wasn't the message I was trying to get across. I was just using the concept of a devil as a satirical tool. That is ok isn't it? To me Islamists might as well be the devil.

We all have our own way of fighting the war we find ourselves in. To use spiritual references is one way, to be secular is another. They both have their place here. As long as Robert doesn't object, I'll give my opinion about the posted articles, and I just might talk about G-D, or even satan (the islamic god- baal by any other name) and if that offends you, well you write your own opinions and MYOB. Robert will decide who has the right to post and what they can post.

Who was the Saudi 'Prince' -or wasn't it Feisal himself- who said: "There is no 'extremism in Islam, no moderates or militants'- there is only Islam"-
So, there it is. Islam is what it is. Muhammad is what he was and the Qu'ran, that dirty book is 'not to be doubted'. "There is only Islam"- and that makes every Muzzie a Jihadist, a Terrorist, a suicide bomber, a Martyr or honor killer, take your pick:
Islam is Terror, Jihad is Islam, killing infidels is mandatory and so is hatred, ignorance and Islamic conquest.
We either rule over them or they will rule over us. We either get them out of our countries or they will further infiltrate and undermine our societies, we either conquer them and confiscate the oilfields and chase them into the desert (where they belong) or they will take the Jihad to us, kill our men, rape the women and enslave the children.
That is the nature of Islam, that is what they have always done and will always do as every Islamist seeks to emulate the lunatic 'prophet'...
