Islamization of Europe watch. "Galloway win causes alarm," from the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to JS:
"This defeat is for Iraq. All the people you have killed, all the lies you have told have come back to haunt you," declared maverick lawmaker George Galloway following his tight election victory Friday in London's East End district of Bethnal Green.Galloway, who once praised Saddam Hussein and was kicked out of Prime Minister Tony Blair's Labor Party for his stance against the Iraq war, got even by beating Jewish MP Oona King in a traditional Labor stronghold.
Running for the Respect party, which he founded in opposition to the war, Galloway's win gives him a platform to keep needling Blair, who won a historic third term for his party despite a reduced majority in parliament.
Parading through his newly won constituency in an open-deck bus on Saturday, Galloway told followers: "It is one of my first missions to bring him [Blair] in front of a court in The Hague and behind bars."
But Galloway's electoral success has been met with alarm and disdain across Britain. A source from the Conservative Party told The Jerusalem Post that "it is extremely worrying how lack of trust in Mr. Blair has been exploited by this demagogue."
The election campaign for Bethnal Green, in which 50 percent of voters are Muslim, was one of the ugliest electoral fights in British political history.
Oona King, the previous Labor MP for the area, accused the Respect party of inciting activists to hurl anti-Semitic abuse at her. A Labor source told the Post that the Respect party was "drumming up a poisonous atmosphere" as the election campaign reached its peak last month. King, who has a Jewish mother and a black father, told the British press that Respect party members instructed voters "not to vote for me because I am Jewish."

I think Oscar Wild described foxhunting as the unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable. Gruesome George, the (soon to be ex) husband of Yasser Arafat's niece is a nasty man on many levels. So nasty I cannot understand his reputation as a womaniser, but there's no accounting for taste.
He stood as MP on the one issue, and was voted in on that one issue. He has said that he will only be the MP for my ancestoral homeland for one term, now that he has proved his point. So the Moslem majority of Bethnal Green have voted for this man for two reasons only, Iraq and that he is not Jewish.
It's a poor borough and always was. So when GP cover is cut, or more sub post offices closed, or the A&E at the Royal London Hospital is over stretched, or the flats off Old Ford Road need new plumbing, or Bancroft Road library is to be closed to save revenue or the 1001 things constituents ask their MPs to help with, who are you going to call?

George Galloway won by making an antisemitic appeal to Muslims. Nothing works as well with Muslims as Jew-hatred. It's the Mothers Milk of all Arab politcs.
Anti-Israel Jews such as Oona King should learn a lesson from this street-level thug Galloway:
Sell out Israel all you want. It won't save you from the Muslim Jew-Haters and their Jew-hating friends on the Left.
Is this a new lesson? No, it's the same lesson that German Jews eventually learned as they were being shoved into Europe's gas chambers.

To give an example which takes MJ's point a little further. The Labour MP for Ilford South was subject to a campaign against him by the angry young bruvverz of MPACUK (Moslem Public Affairs Committee). Google "Winter Jihad in Ilford".
His constituency is Jewish at one end, mostly the Eastenders who moved out, and Moslem the other. And there was, probably still is for all I know, a boundary of 2/3 streets of student housing between the two communities. The attack was because he spoke in spport of Israel. That he had the temerity to follow his convictions, and the sentiments of a part of his constituency which was not the Moslem part.
He was returned on Thursday, with a slightly reduced, but still substantial majority.

Once the details of the pending divorce action leak out, the Muslims who supported George may have cause to regret what they've done, and deservedly so, for supporting this ultra-left lunatic. And who knows what troubles George has visited upon himself, by dishonouring Yasser's niece.

George Galloway is a morally bankrupt, evil piece of sh*t. He deliberately stirred up Jew hatred amongst the Muslim community in this area (not difficult, admittedly).
Neither the fact that she is half black (blacks are a favoured victim group, unlike Jews), nor the fact that she went out of her way to vilify Israel, could save half-Jewish Oona King from this prejudice.
Respect Party is an example of the Unholy Alliance between radical Islam and the fascist left. It has been slated repeatedly and Soft Left Blog Harry's Place, and by thinking left wing journalist Nick Cohen, amongst others.
In numerical terms, it is insignificant, though.

That is so funny. Such a perfect description. You know, if you want to watch the inner workings of minds riddled with anger, hatred, inferiority complex mixed with a bizarre superiority complex, mental anguish and foot stomping tantrums that Great Britain has the audacity not to convert en mass to Islam, spend some time at MPACUK, with the bruvverz and the sistuzz (there are some sistuzz there too)
I think the white hot anger and rage comes from a cocktail of two clashing chemical combinations in the same person. Basically, a brainwashed, indoctrinated belief since birth that Islam is the one true faith to which all others must bow and scrape; and the realisation that Muslims are at the bottom of the ladder in British society behind Hindus Jews Sikhs Christians Afro-Caribbeans, and stark proof that Islam is nothing special and people arent that impressed by warbling Arab nonsense. This leads to a potent mixture of extreme infereiority complex and sulking which is fired by that stupid and hilarious supremacism they are indoctrinated with. (How can it be that we are not supreme? Our families and Mullahs have been telling us that we are the Master Race! It must be a conspiracy to keep us down...those damn Jews...)
If you read their dialogues you will see traces of that in the same sentence, extreme hatred and rage and contempt for the Kaffir as part of the ubermenschen Islamic race, followed by cringing, frightened, laughably pathetic victimhood and insecurity as a result of their inadequacy compared to all other religions and the modern world.
Throw in sexual inadequacy and there you have the bruverrz and their brilliant website.

George Galloway won a libel suit against a paper that published allegations about his being on the take from Saddam Hussein. But the details have not come out. The libel laws are very strict in England. Many charges which are true, but for which there is, in the view of the court, insufficient evidence, may not be enough to protect against such a lawsuit. One would like to know more. I remain convinced that Galloway was the recipient of Arab money. How else can one explain his holiday house, his high living, his vie sentimentale bien remplie? (Lots of girlfriends).
Youth wants to know. One hopes that MI5 or MI6, with help from the C.I.A. and others, will help us discover exactly where Galloway's money comes from. He can't have scammed it all from that Save Miriam Fund (which raised money supposedly for a sick Iraqi child), can he?
One looks forward to Mrs. Galloway, herself a "Palestinian" Arab, making trouble for George. And as she tries to get her own goodly portion of his loot, she may tell more than he wishes. She may, then again others may take her aside, supply her with money, and suggest that For the Good of the Cause, she leave George alone. She might take it. On the other hand, she might not. Hell hath no fury etc.

Or perhaps, like her clever Auntie Suha, she will play everything to her own financial advantage, taking Georgeous George for a well-deserved trip to the cleaners so as to ensure his continued safety and re-election. Who knows but that the visitation by the Hizb (whatever their names are) louts to the political gathering where they denounced Geo as a false profit were only a claque his estranged wife hired to put a scare into him.

Oona King was herself a despicable politician who, let us not forget, said of America : 'It's a f***ing f***ed-up power man, it's a fundamentalist Christian power if we're not careful. It's terrifying' and in a Guardian article compared Palestinians in Gaza to Jews in the Warsaw ghetto. This woman was in the Labour party, which is surely even more worrying in some respects than the Galloway phenomenon.

Hugh raises the very interesting question of the sources of George's wealth.
No doubt some of this will be traced to 'ex gratia" payments from Iraq, but i tend to believe that in the light of the TWENTY TWO MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH that is reputed to enter the coffers of Suha Arafat from the impoverished Palestinians , it is reasonable that much comes from the coffers of Arafat himself.
Did Galloway marry a woman of little means? Is he the sort of man who would marry a baker's daughter?
Why did he marry the niece of Arafat when he is reputed to be so attractive to a host of women?
Can one really believe that his womanising would be the cause of his wife's demands for divorce?
THere is a saying which goes for men who seek to enrich themselves throught the fortunes of their wives:
first you seduce and then you reduce!
