Clash of civilizations update. "It may be Europe's most liberal city - but if you are gay, you had best beware," from the TimesOnline, with thanks to all who sent this in:
WHEN the editor of one of America's leading gay magazines visited the world's gay capital a fortnight ago, he assumed that he would be safe. But as Chris Crain, editor of the Washington Blade, was walking hand in hand with his boyfriend near one of the gay districts in Amsterdam, two men standing on a street corner spat at his face. He stopped to ask why, was called a "fag" and suddenly the two youths turned into seven.
Surrounded, Mr Crain was kicked to the ground by the gang and ended up in hospital with a broken nose and badly bruised face.
His attackers were Moroccan youths, blamed by Dutch gay rights groups for a disturbing rise of gay-bashing, as conservative Islamic culture clashes with Dutch liberalism....
COC Nederland, the Dutch gay rights organisation, which led the struggle for acceptance, said that the tolerant climate was "slipping away like sand through the fingers"...

"conservative Islamic culture clashes with Dutch liberalism" in the Netherlands....
It's being spelled out this clearly, and STILL people are in denial. In a dutch country, dutch culture has to... fight(??) for survival.
You can't expect to hear it said any clearer than this. Wake up and throw the infection out.

How soon before the Islamic apologists start to attack gays for 'oppressing people of faith' with their very existence?

This is terrible. The Netherlands, of all places. The writing is on the wall. They are thugs, these Muslims. Barbaric thugs. The male youths are the worst. Horrid, the lot of them. There will never be assimilation. Never. If the younger set are this intolerant and hateful, forget about it. It will not go the same way as with other immigrant groups in other countries, where with the 2nd generation, there was assimilation and acceptance. Not with Islam. They get worse, go in the opposite direction. Feral.
suddenly the two youths turned into seven
Typical Muslim modus operandi. Always in packs. Like jackals. Very brave in packs. They always seem to have so little productive or useful to do in their lives, that they have packs of friends instantly available and ready to attack one or two victims. Doesn't matter what time of day. Revolting people.

The Dutch invited the Muslims in.
They should now invite them OUT.
The Islamic mindset is currently unable to adapt to civilization.
Send them to Saudi Arabia until they Reform their death-book.
Time to flush a Dutch translation of the Koran down the toilet!
("Een stuk van hoopje" is a popular Holland tranlsation of the title of the 'Holy Qu'ran'.)

I'm sure the moral relativists and defenders of islam are probably quickly pointing out that the "Moroccan youths" didn't treat Mr. Crain like Matthew Sheppard (whose attackers' story about them being high on drugs rather than anti-gay has received little press).

Why don't gay rights groups speak out against this? Aren't they aware of it?

Yesterday there was a kiss-inn by homosexuals in the center of Amsterdam, and people are raising their voices (however, not the multiculti's). Our dhimmi mayor Job Cohen is not one of those voices, asked on television about the incident, he immidiatly started talking about discrimination of all sorts and blaming people discriminating against muslims of the fact that young muslims felt so unhappy that they attacked homosexuals.
If this were true, that people feel discriminated against, then why not bash the people doing in stead of seeking out homosexuals. A logical question, but one that goes far above the intelligence of the apologates of muslim violence.
