Did you read the whole article? It starts off well enough, but then turns into a screed against all religion. Today, more than ever, we are in need of the de-religionisation of society...The machinery of Islam and the other main religions (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.) are not voluntary societies of believers of specific ideas; they are enormous political and financial institutions, which have never been properly scrutinised, have not been subject to secular laws in society and have never accepted responsibility for their conduct."

This is almost as alarming as the stuff the jihadists put out...so the left is going to use the boogie man of Islam to push for the "de-religionisation of society?" Hullo, this smacks of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

This statement should burn in most Mulsims minds to remind them why they are in the West in the first place. Eventually there will be a breaking point because the majority of Westeners will not tolorate this type of behavor forever. Too much imagration is leaving the West broken.

it's right there in front of us. it's there when we get up in the morning and there when we go to bed. it's there at work and at play. in the cities and the countryside. it surrounds us like the air we breath. yet it is ignored, either by the fear of the spineless, or the good intentions of the deluded, or by the complicity of the collaborators.

if our elected officials and governments don't have the sense or will to defend us, it will be left up to us to defend ourselves, and should that happen, it will be both horrific and devestating on a global scale. nobody will fight harder for their freedom than one who has tasted it and is threatened with it's loss.

Our dominant PC multi-culturalist pathology cannot wrap its collective mind around the possibility that one religion is far worse than other religions; that one particular religion has not learned to mature and grow up and moderate its theocratic intolerance and puritanical literalism, while all other religions have learned to grow up and become part of the Secular Rainbow.

Thus, Namazie cannot quite extricate herself from the need to drag other religions down with her condemnation of Islam -- because she cannot contradict her own Leftist religion by which Equality has become sacred and must be defended against all data of reality.

I don't think there is much to gain by allying ourselves with the "humanist" bunch. They represent nobody - if you think Christianity is dying, try militant atheism - they are personally incredibly unattractive, and their intolerance makes Ayatollah Sistani look like John Stuart Mill. I have never had any time for them, ever since I heard one member of the breed, Giordano Bruno Guerra, lament the fall of the USSR because Stalin and co. were the only people who had really made an effort to eradicate religion.

To be honest, Islam has turned me off all religion if I ever believed in any of it.

I think that religion is a "luxury" that none of us as a society can afford.

Which is not to say that I think that other religions are as bad as Islam, I don't, but the hatred that I see in Islam, and the interfaith crap that is spewed by christians and even Jews makes me feel sick to my stomach.

No religion is good as far as I'm concerned.

Use no birth control whatsoever – every baby of Muslim parents is automatically a Muslim and cannot choose another religion later.

Muslim men must marry American women and Islamize them (10,000 annually). Then divorce them and remarry every five years – since one can't legally marry four at one time. This is a legal solution in America.

Convert angry, alienated black inmates and turn them into militants (so far 2,000 released inmates have joined al-Qaida worldwide). Only a few ''sleeper cells'' have been captured in Afghanistan and on American soil.

10. Reading, writing, arithmetic and research through the American educational system, mosques and student centers (now 1,500) should be sprinkled with dislike of Jews, evangelical Christians and democracy. There are currently 300 exclusively Muslim schools in the U.S. which teach loyalty to the Quran, not the U.S. Constitution. In January of 2002, Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Washington mailed 4,500 packets of the Quran and videos promoting Islam to America's high schools – free of charge. 11. Provide very sizeable monetary Muslim grants to colleges and universities in America to establish ''Centers for Islamic studies'' with Muslim directors to promote Islam in higher-education institutions.

12. Let the entire world know through propaganda, speeches, seminars, local and national media that terrorists have hijacked Islam, when in truth, Islam hijacked the terrorists.

13. Appeal to the historically compassionate and sensitive Americans for sympathy and tolerance towards Muslims in America who are portrayed as mainly immigrants from oppressed countries.

I was listening to Michael Savage`s radio show a few days ago and that is exactly what he predicted to happen in the near future:left wing socialists will use the anti-islamic public outcry,to promote a religious-free society.

This all is very serious business. You see there are dangers at all sides. Let us not forget that the most brutal forms of tyranny in the history of mankind were the 20th century atheist, antireligious forms of tyranny: nationalsocialism and communism. Hitler hated christianity and religion and so did Stalin, Mao, Polpot, Castro and all the others. SS-officers read Nietzsche's 'Antichrist' for inspiration..The old Sjah of Persia used to say that the red (communist,atheist tyrants) and the black (Islamist tyrants) were always in cahoots to prevent any real progress.It comes basicly down to this:
Atheist tyrants deny the Holy and the Divine,just to take that place THEMSELVES.
Islamist tyrants identify the Holy immediately with their own views. And so they too end up taking the place of the Holy THEMSELVES.
In the end: it is just the same.The atheist Left is in my opinion just as dangerous (because inherently tyrannical to other peoples views) as
as the religious Islamist extremists.

ALL forms of tyranny over the minds of men and women are anathema to the free and always-developing intelligence. Whatever cloak they drape over their urge to despotism, whether 'super-faith' (militant Islam) or 'anti-faith' (anarchistic nihilism), they are diseased twins, one merely standing on its head to look different.

Why those constucting fairly good critiques of tyrannical Mohammadism then feel the need to pretend that the 'Christian' Inquisition is still ongoing, or that the Laws of Deuteronomy are currently in practice, is a trait which tends to render their insight into Imperialistic Islam pointless.

They fight these imaginary enemies of freedom (already long turned into allies aftere the Reformation and Enlightenment) and thereby give Islamic apologists fresh ammunition.

Can't they just stick to opposing those who are REALLY cutting peoples heads off NOW? Or planting bombs under mothers and tourists and people just going to their jobs on buses NOW?

They can worry about the immorality of witch burning in the 17th century once the threat we face NOW has been overcome.

Sloppy thinking only helps to promote the calculations of those aiming to obliterate our Civilization.

It is disrespect of religion and rabid atheism that allowed for the growth of the cult of political correctness that leaves us paralyzed and unable to respond to Islamic jihad/terrorism.

Jesus' message wasn't all about turning the other cheek. There is time for peace, and there is time for war. There is time for love, and there is time for hate. Jesus himself engaged in violence and did not tolerate things he deemed intolerable. When the brave queen of Denmark said that some things in this world cannot be tolerated, she was merely echoing a basic truth that appears in our Scriptures. If Jesus were alive today, he would look painfully at our predicament, then he would take the Good Book and open it for us on the page that has the verse that says, "He who rises to kill you, you must kill him first." This is a basic truth, so elementary, so obvious. Even animals practice it. It is supposed to be an bodily INSTINCT. Why was there a need for it to be a Torah COMMANDMENT?! Oh, is there a need, is there a need! The Almighty who foresaw the future knew that a time would come, when killing would be altogether unthinkable to corrupt, Hellenized, holier-than-Thou sensibilities, that we would shelter and feed those who seek to destroy us, believing that these evil people will absorb our gentle values through some mysterious process of osmosis. So the Almighty ORDERED us to kill our enemies, that we be COMPELLED to do so EVEN IF WE ARE SUICIDAL AND DON'T FEEL LIKE ENSURING OUR SELF-PRESERVATION. By showing tolerance to Muslims we not only commit national suicide, but even worse, we DESECRATE THE ALMIGHTY'S NAME.

We in the West are in the mess we are because we have forsaken our Protector, we reinvented God in our own "politically correct", "democratic" and "enlightened" image, we distanced ourselves from His teachings, we became self-reliant, we show the mercy of fools to those who seek to destroy us. It has been made abundantly clear that there IS pure evil, and that the atheistic, holier-than-Thou path does not work, so let us change course. It says in the Scriptures that there is a foundation of EVIL and EVIL MEN in the world. Let us start to believe this unconditionally. Let us stop finding excuses for evil behavior, such as "poverty" and "young age". This is applicable only to Islamic jihad. For God's sake, look at our society. We let rapists and child molesters loose upon society after they serve a laughably short sentence in prison. If we are unwilling to defend our weakest members of society, women and children, from these animals, what hope do we have to protective our collective from Islamic jihad?

The solution to our problems is not to distance ourselves even further from the Almighty, but instead to come closer to Him, to CLEAVE onto Him, to follow His teachings. AT LEAST the teachings that are meant to ensure self-preservation! For God's sake, as well as for OUR sake! Let us start thinking about the verse, "He who rises to kill you, you must kill him first." Let's not be more merciful and holier than is prescribed in the Scriptures. Let's not practice the mercy of fools.
