Saudi women are driving all over the place - Princess

They just have to make sure nobody sees them. From Pakistan's Daily Times, with thanks to Nicolei:

WASHINGTON: Princess Loulwa Al-Faisal of Saudi Arabia denied here on Thursday that Saudi women were not allowed to drive, saying they drove all over the place except in the cities.

She told a meeting that in the desert they all drive and it is women who are standing against the right to drive in cities. “It will be good for us if all women were driving,” she added.

The Princess, a daughter of the late King Faisal and sister of Turki Al-Faisal, the Kingdom’s ambassador-designate to Washington, was speaking at the Middle East institute.

..and causing wrecks! These princess' live in their pampered world, jetsetting to the west to enjoy all that it has to offer, then go back to their luxurious estates in the desert. More 'let them eat cake' syndrome to me.

The stark backwardness of Saudi society is a poster advertisement to the real societal sickness that islam engenders.

May we have more of this madness splashed across daily media!

OT
Recently noticed how even dhimmedia commentators like a BBC anchor squirm when having to splurge (paid advertisements) news-stories positive about islam. This was about some saudi prince donating some $30 million to build an islamic museum in paris. The BBC guy was squirming reading out the words from the teleprompter

"... to promote greater understanding of islam as the religion of peace, tolerance, forgiveness and amity...".

Even dimmi BBC knows people dont buy that cr_p anymore!

Oh Ye! Rich and stupid Princess!

You are confusing camels with automobiles!

Yes. It's all just a big misunderstanding.

The 2% of saudi population can and does whatever it likes.

Take the saudi UBL ... whatever he wants to do...

They're in the right locale for an "off with their heads" response.

Maybe they'll accidentally back into a mosque or two, or twenty.

The perfect Saudi Islamic reasoning:

-the women can ONLY drive in areas where they is nowhere to go, nothing to do, and no one to see them.

Sounds like something from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass".

And, if the Saudi seductresses dare drive anyplace where they might actually want to go, you get the same answer as in 'Wonderland':

"OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!"

(Of course Islam itself has been driving in circles since about 1100 A.D., after the theologians gained ascendancy and forbade any further serious philosophical or scientific inquiry within or about the faith.)
