Beslan children still tormented

A disturbing story from the BBC:

In the basement of his Beslan home, seven-year-old Chermen is kicking boxes with a surprising energy given his age and his tiny frame.

His face is tense and betrays the turmoil he is feeling.

But when we sit down to talk, he regains his composure. Looking straight into my eyes, he answers my questions with clarity and confidence.

"There is no God. There is only military force. I believe in Russia and in our armed forces.

"That's what I believed in during the terrorist attack."

Chermen is a survivor of last year's attack. On 1 September, pro-Chechen gunmen seized School Number One in Beslan. More than 1,000 adults and children were held inside for three days.

When the siege finally ended, 171 children and more than 200 adults were dead.

A year on, he seems to be coping well. He has started to play his beloved computer games again and he smiles frequently.

But as he recalls those three days in hell, his memories are as vivid as ever and reveal that his pain is unresolved.

"After the first explosion, a terrorist's grenade was hit by a bullet. They all had grenades slung round them. He blew up and his brains hit me in the face. It was horrible. It was fatty and slippery."...

A familiar tension reappears on his face.

"I feel pain. And also rage. And since then I want to avenge Oleg's death. If I were president, I would order them to send unarmed terrorists to me and I would, with my bare hands, using a knife, slit their throats."

In a small flat in one of Beslan's characterless compounds, nine-year-old Laima draws a picture. It shows an armed terrorist, his face covered by a mask.

She draws several pictures until she is finally happy with the result. Then she picks it up, tears it to pieces and sets it on fire with matches.

"I draw the terrorist and burn them for all the children who died in the school. I want to take revenge on them for killing those children."...

Since her lucky escape, Laima has been engaged in drawing and burning these pictures almost every day.

"It's never enough. It is impossible to get enough revenge. All my life I will have to do it, because of how they held us for three days."...

Who was it that massacred these innocent children? Oh yes, Muslims.

Followers of Muhammad, a very peaceful man, until he woke up and took a breath every morning.

Thousands of southern Sudanese children, captured by northern Arabs in Sudan's long running civil war, have been sold into slavery or forced to convert to Islam, according to clandestine Christian groups working for their release. According to documents obtained by The Times, and interviews with victims of slavery, the practice has been quietly condoned by the Islamic regime in Khartoum.

Slavery is part and parcel of islam. The very name of islam means subjugation, or slavery.

This whole story got less MSM coverage than a bottle-nose dolphin getting beached for a couple hours.

Ironic that most of these kids understand the threat of terrorism and most of Europe (save the UK) don't. Perplexing.

Since there are MANY adult witnesses to this massacre, LOTS of video/film footage, and PLENTY of other sources of info on what happened at Beslan, I seen no need to keep re-tormenting the VICTIMIZED children by making them relive the tragedy over and over over.

Let them forget it as much as they can until they are adult enough to understand and absorb it better.

Only (morbid?) adults -who wish to see these kids feeling bad (for whatever tactical reasons)- keep this tabloid psychological scab-picking 'alive' and their wounds unhealed.

Traumas will fade to human proportions if allowed to.

The global Oprah-ization of these childrens' horror is nauseating, and continues the terrorists' injury.
(They have even put some of these luckless kids on the stand at the trial of the surviving terrorist... as if that is necessary.)

I saw an American program on Beslan several months back. It was called "Hostage". Very moving and disturbing. But one thing I noticed when the show ended, was that not one word of Islam or Muslims was mentioned. Also Allah was not mentioned, even though I am sure that during that horrible event, the murderers were heard mentioning Allah. Correct me, if I am wrong. In the program they substituted that with 'God'.

I also notice that most people that I've talked to about Beslan, also seem to omit the Islam factor. Most insist it was simply a Chechen vs. Russian thing, no religion involved. Islam has been getting a free pass with this one. Perhaps it's just too unbearably shocking to comprehend that so-called religious people, who believe in God, can treat children in this manner, but it's something many people still need to wake up to. Islam will treat anybody, young or old, with whatever viciousness and cruelty it wants, without batting an eye. We've been dehumanized from day one, so it's very easy to do so.

Our governments have much to learn from this poor children. Hopefully, they will do so before it's too late.

It was Beslan that brought me to this site, a year ago next week.
And how many deaths, some now from my own neighboughhood have there been since? The tide is turning, I saw some graffiti in our High Street last night condeming the suicide bombers, admittedly it ruined the Scout's handiwork of earlier in the summer cleaning up old rubbish graffiti but this wall was quite profound and I found myself moved.

But, I agree, there were enough adults that survived that there is no need to further exhibit the children.

Islam has shown the surviving children what islam is about, at the core.

Acceptance or death. Slavery of the mind.

There are "stages", of course. First, "spreading the word". Then, when that fails, deceptive media and economic pressure. Then, argument and exploitation of legal systems to silence critics. Then (as, frankly, logical argument always crumbles under the weight of its own irony when used to try and further islam), violence. But ultimately the message they give us is what they feel, and what islam is (The "Four Pillars of Belief"):

1) Once joined, islam may not be left.
2) Islam must be the dominant or sole belief in the world.
3) All religious minorities must be oppressed in the name of Allah.
4) Women are meant to be controlled.

And these objectives, being done in the name of a (fictional) tyrant deity, supercede all question of means. That is, it doesn't matter how they get done, so long as they're done, ultimately. Oh sure, be nice if you can - but get it done. That's all that really counts, in the end. Look at the Four Pillars there. All of them have examples where murder has been the final solution to their imposition. The murder of apostates, the jihad against Dar-al-Islam, dhimmitude coupled with the murder of minorities, and finally, the killing of women in the name of "islamic honour". The end result is all the same.

Funny. I never see the same sentiment from the OTHER world religions. How odd.

With God's help the West will find the courage and conviction it used to have, now hidden under layers of leftist liberalism and political correctness.

With God's help the dead will be avenged and the Beslan children will have closure.

As you can read from the news on this fine website, we are on our way, we just need a little divine help to expedite the process.

In the program, and in other BBC coverage these days, it was never mentioned that the terrorists were mohammedans.
