A trafficker in conspiracy paranoia, fanatical anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial -- advising Tony Blair. From the Telegraph, with thanks to all who sent this in:
Tony Blair decided to wage war on Iraq after coming under the influence of a "sinister" group of Jews and Freemasons, a Muslim barrister who advises the Prime Minister has claimed.Ahmad Thomson, from the Association of Muslim Lawyers, said Mr Blair was the latest in a long line of politicians to have been influenced by the group which saw the attack on Saddam Hussein as a way to control the Middle East.
A Government spokesman confirmed last night that ministers and officials consulted Mr Thomson on issues concerning Muslims but refused to be drawn on his views. "We talk to a lot of people, including many whose views we do not necessarily agree with," she said.
Mr Thomson said: "Pressure was put on Tony Blair before the invasion. The way it works is that pressure is put on people to arrive at certain decisions. It is part of the Zionist plan and it is shaping events."
Mr Thomson wrote a book in 1994 in which he said Freemasons and Jews controlled the governments of Europe and America and described the claim that six million Jews died in the Holocaust as a "big lie". In The Next World Order, Mr Thomson, a Muslim convert who was born Martin Thomson in Rhodesia, wrote: "When the majority of people in a predominantly Christian society cease to worship God, the result is fascism.
"When the people in a predominantly Jewish society cease to worship God, the result is either communism or capitalism. A predominantly Christian society is concerned primarily with establishing a political ideology, whilst a predominantly Jewish society is concerned primarily with establishing an economic system."
This, he suggested, led to the rise of Adolf Hitler. Mr Thomson, who was called to the bar in 1979, wrote: "The fascism of Hitler was the Christian element in the increasingly "Jewish" environment in which he and his followers found themselves."
He also wrote that the Jews have no right to live in "the Holy Land" because they are not a pure race and therefore not the true biblical Israelites and that Saddam was used as an excuse for US troops - "including thousands of Jews" - to occupy Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Thomson's appointment makes it a nice trio that Blair & Co have annointed -- along with Sir Iqbal Scranie and Inayat Bunglawala. How incredibly disheartening that a Holocaust denier can be given such a significant post, but no longer very surprising.

The true result & achievement of the British born Muslim suicide bombers is now becoming evident to all who have their eyes open.
The Muslim Community has the ear of the ruling elite in the UK almost exclusively.
The bombers smashed down the doors, & the MCB charged through with the agenda, the demands, the people for the committees, the advice that if not taken, stated & threatened quite clearly that "the UK's young Muslims might turn to extremism if you don't do exactly what we say............right now"
Mohammed Khan & his murderous gang have their place in the hearts of the faithful - & no doubt their thanks for the seismic shift in the fortunes of the Muslim community, now that they have a totally unchallenged conduit to political power & influence in the UK.
So, Ahmad Thomson is an advisor to HM Government. One of the army of "Moderate Muslim Advisors" now taking up residence in Number 10 Downing Street. The PM disagree's with his views, but has not pointed out to him that his views bear absolutely no resemblance to established history or common sense....but then again Muslims never let simple issues such as the truth get in the way of good propaganda. Best not to mention it Tony, they may get upset....
.....never mind that certain quarters of society may get upset that you are now taking advice from someone who denies the Holocaust ever happened.....
Maybe Princess Tone could help them fulfill a life long dream - just whilst they are "guests" at Downing Street - c'mon Tone, put the Black Flag on the pole...c'mon...its a "cultural sensitivity thing" Tone, honest, they will appreciate your offering.
You never know, they may not beat you up & steal your lunch money, if you are lucky....

is presumably one of the "advisors" responsible for the drop Holocaust day suggestion. From the amount of books he has written about islam these last few years I suspect he was getting very few briefs for real law cases and thought he had better diversify.

Linking the Free-masons and Jews was a staple of 19th-century antisemitic propaganda, from France to Czarist Russia.
Mr. Ahmad Thomson, "a Muslim convert who was born Martin Thomson in Rhodesia," is simply one more bizarre variant on this classic antisemitism. A decade or more ago he was pretending to lament the demise of a "Christian society" but rather than work toward that, he appearently thought it best to convert to Islam (the most determined, relentless, and destructive foe of Christiantiy, of Christians themselves, that has evern existed, and that after a period of weakness, is again a major threat to Christians, and to those who, while perhaps not Believers, have been formed by societies that have themselves been formed by Christianity or "Judeo-Christianity" (to use a term Ahmad Thomson no doubt deplores).
His becoming not merely a Muslim, but a full-time propagandist for Islam can be likened to the Frenchman Roger Garaudy, also an antisemitic conspiracy theorist who began his own Spiritual Journey as a Stalinist member of the French Communist Party, and ended up as a convert to Islam, still flogging his antisemitic conspiracy theories. It is one thing to be born, through no fault of one's own, into Islam, perhaps into a family that has remained largely indifferent to most of Islam. It is quite another to willingly convert to Islam, and quite another especially to convert to Islam nowadays, when the nature of this belief-system should be clear to those still with their f-a-c-u-l-t-i-e-s intact.
What was it that made young Martin Thomson take a wrong mental turn? What made him a conspiracy-theorist and run-of-the-mill antisemite? And what was it that caused him, like so many Nazi sypmathizers and neo-Nazis (think David Duke), throw in their lot so easily with Islam? Well, we know the answer to at least that last question.
A strange ragtag and comical bunch of the sinister and the silly, these converts to Islam.

No "smoking gun" in Melanie Phillips's diary entry, but worth a read as she talks both about AhMAD Thomson and the proponent of "Genocide Day".
I just can't believe the British people will remain any quieter about Blair appointing a Holocaust denier to any kind of post than the citizens of Ontario have been about introducing Sharia courts as an acceptable form of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
And what about any Armenian community in the UK (assuming there is one,)they should be up in arms at the omission of the well-documented genocide committed against them by the Turks.
Hoisting these shameless hypocrites by their own smelly pitards is really the only way to get a handle on things. But this all starts with us.

Wait a minute! They missed a few others that belong …like how the aliens came along and befriended the Jews and how they’re working alongside the Men in Black to create Bigfoot and Sasquatch and the Chupacabra in order to bring down the Arabs! …Or is that the Mexicans who’re searching for the Loch Ness Monster? Umm …are there any ‘sand circles’ appearing over there in the desert?
I forget the name of the Saudi Prince (okay, I just can’t spell his name without injuring my fingers, to be honest) who owns so much stock of all of the major news networks and corporations and is extremely wealthy due to all of his holdings. How can they say that the Jews control everything when this guy’s got his dirty, sandy fingers in everything? The news is so biased here in the states and the truth about this war against ‘terrorism’ isn’t being honestly reported due to guys like this who REALLY control the media. Religion of peace?!? How can people keep believing that when everything points to the exact opposite? Deception, as usual. They’re the absolute best at slight of hand tricks.

Just try to bear in mind that Middle Eastern Muslims seem to have the amazing talent to hold completely opposing beliefs within themselves at the same time, whilst believing both to be absolute, unchanging truths at the same time.
Once you accept that they have this extraordinary talent, or freak of nature, or brainwashing from birth, or parental & societal religious indoctrination (call it what you will), you will feel a whole lot better.

True, I well remember Mohammed Atta's father being interviewed a week or so after the 9/11 attacks. He denied his son's involvement and insisted that he had just spoken to Mohammed on the phone and he was alive and well. Shortly thereafter, he broke down in tears and wept over the death of his son. It was a revelation.

Meanwhile the Daily Express reports that relatives of the 7/7 massacre have been offered a derisory £11000 for the death of their relative. Now comes the sting. The government states that any benefit payments will be correspondingly reduced.
It is worth noting that the relatives of the bombers themselves will continue to extract the Jizya/welfare. I'm fairly certain that they are also defrauding the state by making false claims.
On a further note to replacing the Holocaust remembrance to something that satisfies muslims. In the Qu'ran, there are verses that explicitly call for the slaughter and genocide of Jews. It seems to me, that any good muslim would then find it virtually impossible to attend a ceremony that actually condemns the Holocaust.

AhMAD Thomson and his ilk need to be exposed for what they are, but they should never be appointed as advisors to the government on anything as anything they may advise, even if unrelated, may arise from some very tainted thinking. It's simply not good enough for some civil servant to excuse his appointment by saying the government will consult people whose opinions they do not necessarily agree with. There's always a line to be drawn and Thomson with his allegations of Jewish-Freemason conspiracies to rule the world put him squarely in the nutbar camp, let alone his Holocaust denial. You can't hold opinions like those and keep a license to teach in Cana-duh (at least you didn't used to be able -- maybe things are changing vis Mohammed El-Masry, chief mouthpiece of the Canadian Islamic Congress, who is a professor of engineering in Waterloo, Ont)

sling enough mud and some of it will stick.
Its high time we issued psycholigical profiling of Govt advisers.....only those with well established Delusions need apply !! OOps ....is that dicrimanatory ??

I hope the Christian-right "black helicopter" crowd can tear themselves away from their Left Behind books long enough to see the intellectual company they are keeping. The theories are often strikingly similar, almost word for word in some instances, but with the enemy (the "Zionists" in this case) struck out and replaced by the UN, the CIA, communists, Freemasons, Jesuits, international bankers (itself sometimes a code word for Jews), Satanists, or whoever the boogeyman of the hour are.
I'm not saying that there are NO real conspiracies in the world (the Tonkin Gulf incident, for example, was a conspiracy to get the USA into Vietnam), but these all-encompassing "New World Order" theories rest on the same shaky foundations as this Thomson guy. Once everything is a conspiracy, then the conspiracy theory explains everything, and as we all know, a theory that explains everything really explains nothing.
Downing Street can try to fend off criticism by saying "we don't agree with everyone we talk to", but the fact remains that an anti-Semitic conspiracy nut and Holocaust denier would not normally be given the time of day by the government. But this guy is being "consulted" by Number 10. The fact that the government feels the need to communicate with this despicable character is proof that they understand, even if they won't admit, that his views are not those of a tiny minority of extremists who can be dismissed lightly. This man cannot be waved away as an unrepresentative "radical" by Muslim apologists. If someone was representing the government on Christian issues and said this kind of thing, there would be a loud response. Are Muslims clamouring to denounce the comments of Mr Thomson? If so, why are they not being heard? If not, why not?
