Diana West (thanks to Scaramouche) details how the dhimmis in the State Department are financing those who would destroy us.
Maybe it was that last $50 million that George W. Bush forked over to the Palestinian Authority in May that made the Gaza transfer between Israel and the PA this week so ... What was Condoleezza Rice's word for the lawless Palestinian stampede of looting and desecration that erupted after the Israeli withdrawal?"Successful."
That is, something must have sweetened the deal to make Israeli-Palestinian coordination on this territorial handover so very ... How did Ms. Rice describe the dynamic that led to the flags of jihad terrorism being hoisted into a sky darkened by burning synagogues?
"Effective."
Successful and effective? Not everyone's first reaction, but maybe it all depends on what Ms. Rice was hoping for. The fact that burning synagogues failed even to singe the Secretary of State's assessment of diplomatic success and effective statecraft is nothing less than chilling. But maybe it reflects our arrival at a cold, new reality that calls into question administration attitudes toward longstanding American motives and goals in the Middle East.
Since the Oslo "peace process" began in 1993, Palestinians have received more than $1.5 billion from the United States — more aid, as the San Francisco Chronicle pointed out in August, than from any other single country. Not that other countries, mainly European ones, haven't been generous. The Atlantic Monthly's David Samuels tallied up post-Oslo P aid at $7 billion, estimating that as much as half of that money was siphoned off by Yasir Arafat and his cronies.
Still the bucks flow. This year alone, the Chronicle reported, the United States will double last year's $275 million PA aid package, paying out $550 million (not including the $50 million handed out in May, as near as I can tell). In July, even as jihadis struck the London Underground, the Group of Eight countries couldn't pile up money for the PA fast enough, agreeing by 2008 to present its government — which by then could very well include landslide-elected terrorists from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda, whatever — with $9 billion.
Read it all.

Why is all this surprising?
Islam is a religion that expressly started out as raids against caravans for loot and booty. In other words, it is simply profit at the expense of other people's work. It does not create wealth, it simply seizes the wealth of others. Mohammed himself robbed others, as well as took hostages to be bartered for money. That is, all profit with no outlay in capital expenditure or work except one of violence. In essense, islam is a robber baron's ideology. To this day, muslim nations are among the poorest of all, and the rich ones, such as the oil states, are wealthy due to the expertise and work of the West.
In Britain, some 40% of the muslim population is on Benefits. Of the remainder 60%, some 30% have a single person employed in a family of 6 to 8 or so. They then qualify for all sorts of benefits. One can therefore surmise, that some 70% of the muslim population of Britain, is on Welfare. So here we are again, profit with no expenditure of real effort.
Now lets us look at islamic nations to whom we "loan" enormous amounts of money - which we know full well will never be repaid. Now as long as these nations know, that we will continue to give them money, even though it is apparant that they are poor because of islam, they will continue on their chosen path. Palestinians are the most extreme example of this case. The message we give out is that it is profitable to be muslim, poor, and engage in Jihad, as the world will continue to pay the Jizya.
The option of extracting money from kaffirs by conquest is now no longer available. We thus see the option of blackmail or dependency being excercised. If one accepts this view of Islam, islam begins to appear as nothing but "beg, borrow or steal" in action by a large group of people i.e., a collective of spongers and thieves.
We need to break this cycle of Jihad and dependency on the victims of Jihad. I see no reason whatever that muslims should profit from the excercise of their religion, whether it is blackmail money for palestinians, Afghanistan, or welfare money.
It is in our duty to stop funding islamic nations, as we are in a war. It is also necessary to start deporting illegal immigrants, particularly muslims. If they see that it is no longer profitable to be muslim anymore, many are likely to change their views on life. If they do not, then at least they are removed from the West, and are unable to conduct Jihad from within.
Tragic really that we have arrive to this state of affairs.

DP111 post above succintly expresses the Islamic decadency - beg, borrow and steal. It runs parallel with murder, rape, torture.
I would like to add that the Islamic fallback on `Christian Atrocities` is a load of rubbish cos it is the muslims who taught christians those atrocities. The Inquisition was a role reversal of the earlier muslim evil in Spain.
And Debka has this:

Nice if the whole shebang goes up.

Well Rice did demand some months back that Israeli withdrawal must also permit the Gazans to freely go and could not seal the border.
Israelinsider has the story
PA officials: 100,000 crossed border, tons of drugs and weapons smuggled in
http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Diplomacy/6619.htm
The officials admitted that, in addition to large amounts of weapons, the infiltrators smuggled into the Gaza Strip tons of drugs, including hashish, cocaine and marijuana. On Friday, the PA announced that it had seized two tons of drugs near Rafah.
Now we can see why the occupation was so bad for them.
Oh Ms. Rice what did you wish for?
Once again the Egyptians turned a blind eye to the smuggling, this time with no excuse of tunnels.
They left the border open for so many days to enable the quantities of arms and explosives, stored in Sinai, to be taken across the border.
Sources in Rafah told The Jerusalem Post that dozens of people from various Arab nationalities have crossed into the Gaza Strip over the past week. "We still don't know who these people are, but they include Saudis, Sudanese, Libyans, Syrians and Lebanese," said one source.
Oh Mr. Bush didn't you learn anything from porous borders in Iraq, that your State Department was permitted to demand when pushing for your dream that Abbas will create a Democracy?
You learned nothing from the movement of "Operatives", previously through tunnels and now in broad daylight, into and out of Gaza.
Do you even know that those shaped charges used so successfully in Iraq against your boys in uniform were perfected in Gaza?
The Syrians with Hezbollah will continue their dirty work, and some Israelis are going bear the brunt along with the Iraqi civilians.
