I posted this elsewhere, but the comment fits this story perfectly, too...

It’s amazing that as a capitalistic society that we don’t weigh the benefits of investment in the case of our contributions to Islamic countries. If Islamic countries with their greedy little hands held out for money were a company or a corporation, eventually investors, seeing no return on their money, would simply stop investing.

It has to be the jizya, there’s just no other way to explain it. Somewhere in history there must be a defining moment where the West and everybody else who gives the Arabian countries money hand over fist must’ve agreed to the Dhimmi role and the paying of the tax because there simply isn’t any other logical explanation, is there?

They’ve done nothing for us lately or any other time other than attack us, stand in the way of progress and simple human rights, beg for money and then use that money to kill us with –and the whole time they use their special ‘reality-distortion’ powers to loudly whine and complain that they’re the real victims while the plain truth is evident to anyone with eyes to see with –it’s really amazing!

Islam has been a diseased mosquito carrying around in its gut a plague that has spread too far over time. It’s way past time we cut off giving ANY money to ANY countries which have Islamic ties and really hammer into their thick heads about who’s side they’re on, just as Bush said shortly after his declared “war on terrah” and force the hands of the Muslims to do for themselves.

The mosquito of Islam needs to be smacked, squashed, and obliterated. It festers on its own well enough so if we stop feeding it nutrition, it’ll eventually whither up and die all by itself. It may take awhile, but eventually all cancers kill their host, of which their own societies now play host to.

I don't know exactly what illustr8rg8r means by his use of term "the mosquito of Islam" but KingTolerance's reading of it seems clear enough. If, as KT says, illustr8 is referring to ethnic cleansing then we should all join him in his condemnation of such sentiments. Only the most backward and wretched societies and individuals on Earth would advocate genocide on the basis of religion.

However I suspect - I don't know - but I suspect that illustr8rg8r was quite deliberate in using the term: "the mosquito of Islam" and not: "the mosquito of the Islamic people"

If that is the case then perhaps illustr8rg8r is actually expressing some sort of longing to see and end to what he/she percieves to be a backward, brutal and hostile religion that has left these unfortunate individuals with a minimal quality of life and little recourse to correct that.

Perhaps illustr8rg8r expressed himself a little inappropriately but it is the nature of this site that it deals with emotive subject matter and we all may be inclined to speak fervently about such things.

If illustr8rg8r meant: "Wipe out the Islamic people" then that statement smacks with hatred that has no place on this page or any other (except one that has been smeared with excrement and flushed down the nearest convenience).

If illustr8rg8r meant: "Wipe out Islam to free those people who suffer under it" then that statement reflects love, not hate. Love may be blind sometimes, it may be awkwardly expressed and it may be grossly misguided BUT love, in and of itself, is never wrong. And expressing love, even (nay, esspecially) for those who have been taught to hate you, is something that should be always encouraged, sometimes corrected so as to be better expressed but NEVER condemned.

Of course I could be wrong and illustr8rg8r may be a genocidal racist but his statement about Islam (which is, by definition a religion, not a people - at least in the English language) cannot, in my opinion, be seen as evidence of this.

Are you trying to convince us how smart you are kingky? You cant ethnically clean Islam, Islam is not an ethnic. Islam is an ideology, and it is not a crime against humanity to compare it with a mosquito that needs to be smashed. Now, you might not like that comparison, I find it a little unusual myself, but he has every right to make it, and calling him a pig is not helpful.
