Why should we want to defeat terrorism? Terrorism is cool.

Terror Fashion, from the Cool Hunter, with thanks to Teri.

UPDATE: Jihad Watch reader Twostellas asked the Cool Hunter whether he really thought glorifying terrorism was a good idea. He replied: "Oh please - get a life."

This isn't funny. I live in Toronto, Canada and there have been a few times over the last few months when I have been rather disturbed by such sights as:

* a swarthy "south Asian-looking" late adolescent male riding a bus, reading the Chinese classic on the art of war, his lips moving as he read;

* a swarthy "south Asian-looking" male in his early to mid-twenties wearing full camoflage gear, complete with peaked cap waiting to get onto a downtown subway train, nowhere near where anyone would be out hunting for wild game and way out of hunting season for the province;

* a blond-haired, bearded male, wearing a kulfi and a long, loose shirt staring, transfixed at a poster advertising a gay telephone hotline up on the wall in a subway station.

It's an understatement to say that I long for the days when I only had to worry about being accosted by panhandlers on the way to and from work.

Comes with optional bomber belt and extra ball bearings.

It looks more like a Klan uniform than a Muzzie outfit.

Bloody hilarious.

""Terror fashion" is about to invade cities. The new French brand Anticon is launching a new concept of hooded sweatshirts. Graffiti artists, people with acne, snowboarders or simply superheroes would certainly be into them. To order your sweatshirt, you'll have to wait a few more weeks but we wanted you to be first in the know. Definitely an eye-catching fashion statement! by Yvan Rodic"

Don't tell me, Anticon was feeling subdued and felt the need to release this range.

Huh?

He was Asian, he was reading the art of war, he was moving his lips as he read it.

And..……..so what?

The Art of war is even quoted when it comes to Business strategy, you seriously need to chill and let people go about their lives.

From the link: "The new French brand Anticon is launching a new concept of hooded sweatshirts"

It's French - enough said.

Re: "his lips moving as he read"

I have always heard they were slopeydopes. Breathing through his mouth too?

Sorry ia:

This pathetic little buffoon was no Business Admin type.

Maybe when you get to be a few decades older you'll have a sense of how much easier it can get to size people up by observing a number of things about them.

"Get a life."
I would just like to know whose he meant.

Posted by: Paolo [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 5, 2005 2:37 PM

Yes, Paolo. Obviously, ia786 hasn't read the posts and comments regarding the recent Oklahoma bombing and the account of a feedstore owner of having turned Joel Heinrich III away when he wanted to buy the same substances purchased by Timothy McVeigh, because of the beard, his general deportment and how he was dressed.

(Daniel Pipes wrote a recent brief piece entitled "The Stupid Terrorists' Club" noting that stupidity/arrogance of jihaddists as being their undoing just before the Heinrich III story broke. Heinrich III has to qualify for the jihaddists' Darwin Award)http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Authors.asp?ID=2283

I am neither an Islamophobe nor a paranoid. We do have radical imams in this town and some notorious jihaddists (Khadr family, or what's left of it). That's the reality. On the other hand, there are Muslims in my workplace and a few young residents who have treated me at the hospital where I receive primary care in the family practice unit which is well-known to have been founded and supported by the Jewish community although it serves everyone. The young women doctors often wear the hijab (haven't noticed any kulfi-wearing males) without apparent concern about being the targets of Islamophobia and nobody seems to regard them with any concern either.

I don't know what sentiments these people do or don't hold towards westerners in general or Jews in particular, but they don't dress or act in any manner that provokes any worry in me. Admittedly though, I do not know how friendly they would be toward me if they knew I was Jewish (I still use my married name for certain transactions and my ex wasn't Jewish), but they are generally friendly and cordial people, and this is how they conduct themselves with everyone.

Islam is not a race nor a physical type. Remember the existence of blonde, non-swarthy Jihadists, as they are being recruited in the Balkans and Western Europe as well in North America.
