Of course, one must wonder what the local Muslim 'leader' is telling his angry flock when out of public earshot.

And dare we conclude that Mr. Wilson has simply told angry female Muslims where they should stash their concerns?

Too bad, so sad. For all our Muslim students, America has this thing called freedom of speech and we don't have any laws against desecration of the Koran. It's just a book. No laws against destroying books here in America. No sharia law. We're a Christian country. We can burn Bibles in public. We can burn our flag. The Koran is no exception. Welcome to America. Muslims offended by art. What a shock. When have they not been offended by art? The only "art" they have ever created are geometric patterns. All the amazing and innovative and insightful geometric patterns. I think I've fallen asleep. It's also interesting that most modern art is pretentious, meaningless crap, but this is something I think we can all relate to. As mentioned in another post, why is it that they think burning flags and bibles is perfectly acceptable but they're so quick to get upset when someone does something with a Koran. Maybe someone could set up a website where istead of submitting articles about Muslim lunatics, we could post art that Muslims find offensive. If they are so easily offended, we should just keep offending them over and over again until they realise that if they can't accept what freedom of speech and freedom of artistic expression actually mean then they should just leave, and go somewhere those things don't exist. They seem to believe they have the right to say and do whatever they want but no one should ever be allowed to do anything that they don't like. Which is just about everything.

Enteresting to note that the City of Lodi,Calif. is less than 10 miles north of the city of Stockton, Calif.where there where those recent arrests for terrorist activites by the feds of a muslim father, and son. I wonder if the artist, whose name is not mentioned in the article, probably because of the risk of getting death threats may have been somewhat influenced by the Lodi case where the son apparently attended an Al-Qaeda training course in Pakistan?

Bret Ellis could write it, "Arabian Psycho".

Kudos to Delta College for not caving, unlike Harper Community College which recently took down a photographic exhibit by an Iranian artist because muslim students were offended.

LOVE the idea of website which posts artwork that is "offensive to muslims." Could also track how the institution reponded. Could also have a section for offensive books and movies.

We also need a CAIR lawsuit website, which documents all their lawsuits, the outcomes, including their threatened lawsuits. That info needs to be in one place.

I'm not website savvy, but I'd be willing to start compiling the info on either topic. Anyone else?

If the presence of ONE Muslim community in America brings with it a risk that Muslims will undermine our rights and privileges, it is too high a price to pay! They are not welcome. They don't belong in America. What possible contribution could such a community make to counteract the threat they pose to our well being? No invention, no service, nothing they could offer is worth such a risk of harm coming to our well being and our precious rights. They offer nothing in return that could compensate.
