Remember: the Muslim Prophet Muhammad said, baddala deenahu faqtuhulu -- if anyone changes his religion, kill him. From Compass Direct, with thanks to Nicolei:
December 12 (Compass) – For Pastor Zacheous Habu Bu Ngwenche, time is running out. In the next two weeks he may find himself back in police detention if he does not produce a convert from Islam abducted from his house by Muslim militants in September. The 31-year-old pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church in Akwanga, in central Nigeria’s Nasarawa state, was arrested twice in September for harboring a Muslim who converted to Christianity. After the second arrest, he spent seven days in a cell in Lafia, the state capital.
One of Ngwenche’s disciples, Adamu Bello, had gone to Bauchi state, in northern Nigeria where sharia (Islamic law) has been imposed, to proclaim Christ among Muslims. In the village of Bura, in Ningi Local Government Area, Bello preached to Bature Suleimanu Idi, a Muslim who in January gave his life to Christ. Sensing that Idi’s life was in danger because of his decision to become a Christian, Bello sent him to Akwanga to take refuge with Ngwenche.
In August, Shiite Muslims in Akwanga discovered that Idi had converted to Christianity; they abducted him on September 10.
“Idi was abducted in front of my house and taken to a mosque belonging to the Shiite Islamic sect on Wamba road in Akwanga town,” Ngwenche said. “I went and met the leaders of the Muslim community in this town to protest the abduction. But they claimed that I was holding Idi against his will and was teaching him Christianity without the consent of his relations.”
The Muslim leaders reported the matter to the police, who arrested Ngwenche. Questioning both him and Idi, Ngwenche said, police discovered that Idi had decided to become a Christian without outside pressure.
But police said that the case was “very sensitive in view of the volatile nature of religious issues in Nigeria” and took Ngwenche and Idi to police headquarters in Lafia. In the criminal investigation department, the assistant police commissioner questioning them found only confirmation of what Akwanga police had discovered – that Idi’s conversion was voluntary and uncoerced.
Police released them but instructed Ngwenche to arrange for Idi to be taken back to his hometown of Ningi. But Idi told police that he would not go back to his village, as his family would kill him for renouncing Islam.
Read it all.

So hard to fathom that in this day and age, stuff like this happens.
This should be on the front page of every newspaper to show the braindeads in our country that this is not Islamic extremism. The students at Princeton, who prevented the ex-terrorists from spreaking, need to read this everyday to counter the brainwashing that they have been getting.
Then I wonder why I get depressed.

Threatening people who leave islam is plain blackmail. If islam would be true, why would it worry?
This just proves the garbage that Islam actually is, although it masks itself pretending it is a "great religion".
Isam insults our intelligence.

The Sheep of Christendom and philosophy of martyrdom are under attack. It really needs updating, it is stuck 2000 years ago, maybe because "The End" was just another end.
Waiting for the sky to fall liberal Christians have embraced masses of bad breath Arabs farming converts, slaves, camels, sharp swords and an illiterate psychopath with a newly revised solution for a very Old Story.
Both now have something in common, martyrdom. Arabs know what to do with "sheep." The Koran is blessed with lots of evil traditions, sanctified by an enlightened sponsor of a newly elected and enlightened Allah.
Just think, all these sheep, kaffir, looking for "The End", self-immolation, trying to catch-up with Christ, the rest is an evolving evolution of history.

I realize that Robert does not want profanity or threatening comments used in response to these articles. SO I will be nice. In a country that needs immigrants from an "ethical" rather than criminal background, why does the USA not open it's doors to these persecuted Christians. Soon, so very soon the "anti-Christs" will start their own version of the final solution. When you stand for and support everything evil in the world today, ie; slavery, rape, murder, amputations, any form of sexual debautchery irregardless of whether it is with man, woman or animal, it is not possible to be good or have anything good come from you.
Islam is a form of government vomited up from the brain of a diseased gigolo and pedophile so that he might have power over others. Love is only used to fulfill hedonistic desires.
Leftists also share a lack of moral values and composition with the islamist. Child sex and homo marriage is their main concern.
The Christian cultures are under a tremendous attack and while the meek may inherit the earth there is also room for the archangel who defends these meek.

At this point, Nigeria is lost.
Just what we need, more Moslem control over the world's oil supply.

Well put "Alarmed Pig Farmer". This is exactly how we will do it. One family at a time. Turn your back, get preoccupied with the Super Bowl and we have taken over a town. People will be too scared of us. We, my brothers, are how you Americans and Infidels say, are a modern day form of the Body Snatchers.

What really bugs me about all this: even after a non-Muslim begins to understand that instances like this pervade much of Islam, Muslims themselves continue to deny it. "No, that is a perversion of Islam." "No, this is not true." "This is just culture." etc. etc.
No honest dialogue can exist while Muslims either remain in denial or bald-faced lie.

Both Pastor Zacheous Habu Bu Ngwenche and Mr. Bature Suleimanu Idi are brave and honourable men. They have place their love of Christ before their lives and all Christians should rally to their defense.
Nigeria itself is a false state created by British colonialism. Now Nigeria faces complete Islamic domination. The immediate solution is a partition of the North from the South. In independent and fully soveriegn Biafra should become a reality. Just imagine: An oil rich Christian state which will use its wealth to counteract the pernicious influence of Saudi oil money. Let's help make this a reality.

During the Biafra War of 1967-1969, which was triggered by a massacre, by Muslims of Christians, the entire Western world stood by, and allowed the Muslims of the North to slaughter the Christian, mainly Ibo, south. These Muslims were aided by outside Muslims, including Egyptian pilots who strafed and bombed Ibo villages, killing tens of thousands -- without any opposition, anti-aircraft fire, anything.
Great Britain, France, the United States, all of Europe, did nothing to help the Christians. Col. Ojukwu, in his Ahiara Declaration (for the full text, google "Jihad Watch" and "Posted by Hugh" and "Ahiara Declaration"), said that the Biafrans were fighting off a "Jihad" that was being waged against them -- and the word was not being used figuratively.
Only two states recognized Biafra -- Ghana, and Israel. The rest of the world did nothing.
There may yet be Christian uprising. All the oil is in the south. The Muslims have been applying Sharia to Muslim and non-Muslim alike in several of the Nigerian states. They forced a Christian journalist, making an innocently joking remark about how "Muhamamd would have appreciated the girls in the Miss World Contest" (which contest was closed after violent Muslim protests), to flee for her life to England. The suppression, almost entirely unreported in the Western world, of the Christians in the south, many of their population centers still occupied by the Muslim-dominated army, continues.
One way to embolden the Nigerian Christians is to rediscover, and talk about, the Biafra War, and how terrible the behavior of the Muslims -- the Egyptians in particular -- was during that war, and how pusillanimous the entire Christian or post-Christian world behaved. And make sure the Biafrans, that is those Christians who long to rebel, know that this time they will be given arms, and other kinds of support, and will not be abandoned.
And what would do the most good is not in Nigeria itself, but if the American government, instead of wasting resources on the ungrateful, and largely non-existent "Iraqi" people, were with a few thousand soldiers to seize the southern Sudan and Darfur, and while tens of thousands of grateful black Africans demonstrate their joy and gratitude (so different from the whining, demanding, sullen, and essentially hostile even if occasionally feignedly-friendly-in-order-to-obtain-more-handouts-and-more-American-goodies behavior of the "Iraqis"), who will dare, at the U.N. or the E.U., to deplore such obviously humanitarian intervention? And it will be a signal, a three-way signal:
1. To the Arab League, and to Muslims, and especialaly to Egypt: your plans in East Africa, to extend the Dar al-Islam all the way through Ethiopia, will not be permitted. This is the end of this little game of mass murder that has gone on too long. And Ethiopia will not be subject ot threats from Egypt about diverting some of the headwaters of the Nile for irrigation projects.
2. To the Chinese, signing oil deals with the Sudan -- sorry, no can do. We are more interested in the wellbeing of the black Africans whose country this once was (a hundred years ago, 80% of the country was non-Muslim and non-Arab) than you communists-turned-ruthless-capitalists-and-exploiters have shown yourselves to be. Well, too bad.
3. To the black Africans of southern Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo, and everywhere that local Muslims are becoming more aggressive, especially where Saudi money is transforming mosques into something less syncretistic and easygooing than had heretofore been the case: this is what we, the Western world, can do. Sursum corda. We won't make the mistake made in the First Biafra War again. We now understand Islam, and your plight, better. So keep at it.

If you're looking for the ultimate stupidity when it comes to promoting Islam, yes, Russia is a formidable competitor.
But, as you imply above, the Commie Chinese are Stuck On Stupid to a degree I never dreamed the Chinese could sink.

Hugh, Amen Amen and another Amen! Biafra and South Sudan are true nations. Nigeria and Iraq are colonialist contructs.
How long do you think the US occupation authorities and their newly established Islamic government would tolerate a sovereign Christian Assyria if they were to declare their independence?
Or if the oil-rich and mostly Christian and Buddhist state of Sarawak were to declare its rightful independence from Muslim controlled Malaysia?
It is heartbreaking that the US and other Western countries seem hell-bent on their own destruction.
