Iran to hang teenage girl attacked by rapists

A fuller version of this story from Iran Focus, with thanks to Sparta:

Tehran, Iran, Jan. 07 – An Iranian court has sentenced a teenage rape victim to death by hanging after she weepingly confessed that she had unintentionally killed a man who had tried to rape both her and her niece.

The state-run daily Etemaad reported on Saturday that 18-year-old Nazanin confessed to stabbing one of three men who had attacked the pair along with their boyfriends while they were spending some time in a park west of the Iranian capital in March 2005.

Nazanin, who was 17 years old at the time of the incident, said that after the three men started to throw stones at them, the two girls’ boyfriends quickly escaped on their motorbikes leaving the pair helpless.

She described how the three men pushed her and her 16-year-old niece Somayeh onto the ground and tried to rape them, and said that she took out a knife from her pocket and stabbed one of the men in the hand.

As the girls tried to escape, the men once again attacked them, and at this point, Nazanin said, she stabbed one of the men in the chest. The teenage girl, however, broke down in tears in court as she explained that she had no intention of killing the man but was merely defending herself and her younger niece from rape, the report said.

The court, however, issued on Tuesday a sentence for Nazanin to be hanged to death.

Any second now: This has nothing to do with Islam.

Be sure to follow this story at Faithfreedom and send emails to the UN. I already did.

But of course!!

The response here show that even we are becoming accustomed to islamic barbarity.

I mean: after all it was her fault for objecting to the presence of one of Muhammad's chosen ( ie muslim male).

This is not just dark age barbarism this is micropenile gynophobia and it seem to be a trademark of the islamic male hero figure: scared sh*tless of woman but it is ok to rape them, beat them and kill them.

I never had much time for militant feminism but its absolute absence from the critical field of Islam show me that it was always nothing more than an attempt at role and blame reversal and with as much honour and committment to true women as your usual ayatollah has.

"The response here show that even we are becoming accustomed to islamic barbarity."

I so disagree. You must have missed the earlier thread.

The Iranian model is pretty much what the mullahs would like to force on the rest of us. The Taliban with more money and nukes. The loudmouth in charge of Iran is a perfect spokesperson. Strange that he should appear in power at this particular time. I dont doubt that someone will declare him Mahdi. If he does not deny it, get ready for the onslought. The Devil is in charge of this drama so watch for more devilish things. I once told my father, 'The devil made me do it'. His reply was, "Then I will have to beat the devil out of you". And he did. At some point the devil may have to be beaten out of Iran and a few other places. If you dont like the word Devil, just take the 'D'off the front and you get the same message without personification. Evil exists. You cant see it, but you can see its results.
This is not a good path, but it is the one Islam chooses for us...We may have to pummell the Devil severely about the head and shoulders to put a stop to the Islamic hegemoney. A tricky job, but it can be done...Allah willing...

Could we find this story in the Duranty Times? I very much doubt it. It is this kind of Sharia justice that calls out for a voice from the free world to expose it for what it is. How can we convince Fox to work this story as they did, and still are the Holloway case in Arruba? If you want to see injustice; well here it is in all its corrupted glory. Can we hear from NOW? Can we hear the disgust from all the womens groups across the planet? It will probably be the usual whisper given that Islam is so suppressive of women in almost every category of their lives. Assuming the facts are correct, apparently self defence from rape is not an option in this sharia court. My stomach turns when you understand that this young women was not allowed the option of self defence.

Funny how the feminists --- for all their pronouncements and all their influence on policy --- have disappeared like church mice in the face of the greatest misogynistic sexist threat ever to face womankind.

COWARDLY FEMINISTS VACUOUS FEMINISM HYPOCRITES COP-OUTS FEMINISTS

Looks like they have that old devil Joe Paterno on the ropes, though. Good work, gals.

Mackie:

If it appears in the NDT, it will be to fill some obscure empty spot, much the manner in which the NDT reported on the attrocities being perpetrated against Jews in Nazi Germany -- so as not to appear having any particular bias as to world events.

The disingenuous feminists have seen the scrawling on the wall and it's in Arabic.

As has been stated on another site: "It is not that they beat their daughters, wives, and mothers, but how do we keep them from beating OUR daughters, wives, and mothers."

The fact is, not one of us can save Nazanin. But she may be able to save us.

another piece of the story:
"The murderous judges ignored Nazanin’s testimony, the facts in the case and the testimony of eye-witnesses that corroborated her version of the incident, and condemned her to death. The assailants were reportedly members of the suppressive paramilitary Bassij force in the city of Karaj (west of Tehran)." the source: http://ncr-iran.org/content/view/833/69/

This is such a shame, but I've come to realize that until there are significant changes in Iran, this will continue.

Look at it this way.. if the girls had let the wicked men have their way without a fight, their families would have murdered them to 'protect' the family name. Either way the women lose in Islam.

They can't be educated, they have no right to expression, most probably can't drive..

I enjoyed the cartoon several years ago where a letter came to Osama bin Hidin and his crew in a cave and they were threatened with the US educating their women if they didn't surrender. The look of horror in their eyes was priceless.

Hopefully we will do something to force a change in Iran very soon. It seems things are coming to a head.

Did I read this right? The teenaged Young lady was weeping? Crying? Wha, Why, There's no crying in Islam!!! But now being serious, I deeply feel for this young lady. She only did what she had to do to maintain her dignity and self respect. A crime under Islamic law as far as women are concerned. To all the feminist out there, I have no problem with feminists, just your hypocracy. The contempt that you have for President George Bush 43, you should have for the Iranian government. The Iranian court system! The militant feminists claim that sex between a married couple, (man and woman) is rape. That's your opinion and you are intitled to it. But what about this case? The feminist say that " when a woman says no, it means NO!!! This young teenaged lady gave three would be rapists Muslim men the ultimate no answer, With a WEAPON!!! And now her government is denying her right to choose, to be raped or not to be raped! Kafira, where do you stand on this issue? I'm with you on this issue, not against you. Trust me, when we're done with Iraq, our troops need to make a move on Iran. Posthaste!!! The United Nations is too busy trying to be "friends" with The Iranian government to even think about this young lady. I've a daughter. She's a teenager herself. There is no way that I would allow my daughter to be raped by any one. You hear that Islamofeces??? Try that over here in the land of the infidel dogs, pigs, and monkeys on one of our daughters. And you'll find out what the Second Amendment is all about!!! The boyfriends that left this young lady and her friend to be raped, need to face our justice. Cowards, they are!!! Goes back to the "women being only property of the Muslim Men. No brains, no rights, only for the pleasures of the followers of Allah's prophet" I'm Right Wing, but I would never leave a woman to be raped by any humanoid javaman or javamen!!! What about you feminists? How about the politians that claim to be for womens rights? Where's their voices? They're too worried about Samuel Alito and abortion to be concerned about a real issue. A young lady sentenced to die for defending herself and another young lady from being violated. If she had allowed the rape, then she would be sentenced to die for inticing the "man of Islam. Causing him to sin!" The classic "between the rock and a hard place" senerio. Damned if you do, damned if you don't!
So go ahead and weep, You've earned it. The people of the free world hear your tears.
