I can see it now. The EU foreign affairs chief, Mr. Solana on bended knee, in front of Sheik Tantawi, with a sword raised over Solana's head, as the EU stooge signs a declaration meant to "reconcile the common principles of the EU, the UN and the Organization of Islamic Conference." Following the signing, all European government offices and newspaper editors will be required to have Muslim minders, checking every word written, making sure that nothing enflames or offends the Islamic world. Burqas and beards will also be required.

There is a temptation to perceive all of that cartoon rage as simply another example of Islamist's uncontrollable irrationality. It is that, but it is more. The method to the madness is that these 57 Muslim nations are trying to influence the U.N. to introduce a de facto Islamic blasphemy law on the entire world. And what do they cite as evidence for the need for such a ban, to maintain public order? They cite the Muslim riots, of course. Riots which were planned in advance and brought to the attention of practically all media outlets of the world. There is plenty of evidence, as we've seen, to view this as a coordinated, planned, organized series of events. But we don't even need to assume that. All we need to know is that all of the Muslims involved--the rioters, the imams, the apologist spokesmen, the Muslim political leaders--are working toward the same goal: "Defend Islam" and defeat the infidels. Soft jihad, hard jihad, economic jihad, political jihad, propaganda jihad, blackmail jihad, etc.

In the West we need a formal declaration that, inasmuch as Islam is a fascist political cult designed to conquer territory and subjugate nations, the western legal system does not recognize Islam as a religion. Furthermore, the caravan robber, mass murderer, and documented psychotic pedophile referred to as Mohammed is not recognized as a prophet or as any kind of religious authority whatsoever.

Thereby, any domestic or foreign law to the contrary is automatically null and void.

In the USA, a constitutional amendment to this effect would not be inappropriate. We are talking about defending nothing less than our entire civilization and everything that we hold dear.

If the readers of this post are interested in exploring the consequences of trying to ban speech, cartoons, or books that insult other religions or religious believers, they should read up on the Calcutta Quran Petition circa 1985. Although this legal petition was ultimately dismissed, it called for the confiscation of all copies of the Quran because they contained numerous verses that met the test of the Indian Penal Code involved.

The Quran remains the only Holy Book of a major religion that specifically names other religions in its condemnations and calls for violence. One example: Surahs 5:59-61 says most Jews are evil doers and Allah punished them by turning them into apes and swine.

If they are allowed to silence discussion, and criticism, of the contents of Islam, the belief-system of Islam, then the Infidels will be without the most important weaopn they possess --the weapon of informing themselves. And what's more, Muslims who might wish to somehow -- god knows how -- "reform" Islam -- would also not be able to openly discuss what they find so obviously in need of reform.

This must be opposed. It cannot be allowed to affect, or limit in the slightest, the open discussion of Islam, by everyone, and not merely by the cunning or naive apologists whom we see all about us.

Despite the disgusting state of corruption, graft, and dishonesty that typifies the United Nations and its vile bureaucrats, the diabolical UN agenda proceeds unabated with the blessings and cooperation of Western governments.

The UN agenda is behind schedule, but the devious bureaucrats are still frantically working behind the scenes, in cooperation with the CFR and other NGO's, to implement the NWO. The sovereignty of the United States is still intact, barely, and that must be remedied posthaste. But never fear, Bush and the intellectual elites at the CFR and State Department are working out the final knots that will undo what's left of it.

The UN will never be reformed or downsized. It will continue to grow like a malignant tumor, swallowing billion of dollars for upkeep, and taking billions of our money to redistribute to the "poor", and to further enrich the powerful within the UN.

The only salvation of the US is its Security Council veto and many AMERICAN politicians, pundits, think-tank gurus,and academics are stridently calling for an end to the veto. Once we lose the veto, we are literally at the mercy of the rest of the world, all of which hates us. While I agree that strong actions must be taken to stop the violence and bloodshed in Moslem countries over the printing of 12 cartoons in Denmark last September, I think the OIC may be on the wrong path when it tries to legislate respect for prophets.

In the only version of the UN Resolution on Combatting Defamation of Religions I could find on the internet, the text talks about protecting all religions, but only Islam is called out specifically. Given that Islam is a minority religion in the European Union, I doubt that there will be enough votes in the European Parliament to pass a law which mentions only Islam by name.

The second problem has to do with a law which should prohibit defamation of all prophets and faiths. The problem isn't so much about Prophets as it is about False Prophets. The prophet of one religion may be a false prophet of another religion, so who gets to decide?

Depending on which sect of Islam one blongs to, there are a number of false prophets. Is the ayatollah of Iran seen as a prophet to Sunni Muslims? Is Prophet Elija Mohammed (aka Elija Pool) of the Nation of Islam a prophet? Is Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association a prophet? And the list goes on.

Christianity also warns about false prophets. Must Christians show respect for false prophets? Who decides which prophets are true and which are false?

You can't sanctify all prophets unless there is common agreement on which prophets are true and which are false.
