US suspends aid to Palestinians

More encouraging anti-dhimmitude. From the BBC, with thanks to Null:

The United States says it will suspend direct aid to the Palestinian government now led by Hamas.

But the US will boost humanitarian aid to Palestinians through UN aid agencies, a spokesman said.

The US statement came the same day the European Union announced it was suspending direct aid payments to the Palestinian government.

The US and the EU want Hamas to recognise Israel, renounce violence and accept past peace agreements.

State Department spokesman Sean McCormack, reading a statement from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, said the US was "suspending assistance to the Palestinian government, cabinet and ministries".

U.S. suspending payments. Good. Doing it on the same day as the European Union. Double good.

Is the administration finally coming around. Let them know the concepts of jizyah and dhimmitude. They may yet turn around on this. There is hope!

The BBC article mentions that aid will be increased through UN channels, presumably to Palestinian NGOs. One wonders if these are like the Islamic charities in the United States that keep getting caught red-handed in support of the global Jihad.

If we are to give them humanitarian aid, let's give them food, medicine. NO MONEY!!!!!

Since I refuse to kid myself, I can only conclude that both the US and the EU are determined to go full force ahead in sponsoring the terrorists.

Big deal. We would gladly hand tons of cash over if only Fatah were in charge. You know, Fatah, the guys currently carrying out daily attacks on Israeli civilians. This would be great news if it weren't drenched in hypocracy.

Why are we giving them any "humanitarian" aid through the U.N., etc.?

They don't behave humanely.

They despise us. They mock our charity as their "deserved due" from we infidel dog exploiters.

Let the Saudis feed their own proxy killers.

Let them stop planning terror and start working.

Let them convert to some really peaceful faith.

The phrase "humanitarian aid" evokes a certain kind of response for the adjective bears with it its own seal of approval. And ordinarily the phrase "humanitarian aid" does refer to the kind of support that should not evoke opposition. Think of the usual sitauation. In New Orleans or southern Thailand, people who were leading their own lives, tending their own farms and businesses, going to school or not, but minding their own business, suddenly suffer a sudden catastrophe. It could be a drought, or a flood, a tornado or a hurricane. Suddenly property is destroyed, lives lost. Governments and private donors rush to the rescue. They supply food, medicine, blankets, tents, makeshift or permanent shelters of all kinds. Teams come from outside, that are welcomed, hailed as rescuers, by the locals -- who want only to get back to their peaceful lives as they were before that hurricane, that tornado, that flood, that drought. They want, that is, to return to their inoffensive existences, and not to court disaster, not to do that which will ensure disaster for others, or for themselves.

With Hamas, and with a great many of the "Palestinians," the true business of living is murder. They are animated by hate. From birth to death, they learn to hate. They learn to admire the pictures of the "martyrs" -- that is, the suicide bombers who blow up pizza parlors and busses and hotel restaurants, and take great glee in planning so as to kill the maximum number of innocents. They would, those in Hamas and those who support Hamas and those who do not support Hamas but Fatah but have the same goals, if they could destroy all of Israel and every last Jew in it. They have shown this. They have stated this. They mean this. If they should for one minute pretend or claim otherwise in a week or a month or a year, it will only be in order to obtain Western aid -- they will simply practice the most obvious kind of lying, and of course the Wesetern world contains many people very eager to believe, or merely to pretend to believe, those lies.

The phrase "humanitarian aid" has no meaning here. The local Arabs who have been raised, from cradle to grave, in maniacal hatred, whose children's programs on television show the children being praised for wishing to be suicide bombers, the incessant propaanda of Der-Sturmer like depths, in every textbook, on every radio and television show broadcast locally, in every newspaper, has raised up people who overwhelmingly deny any rights to the Isaelis, completely ignore the legal, moral, and historical claims of Jews to Israel, have fabricated -- and come to believe, deeply, in that fabrication -- a demographic and cadastral history regarding this area, which was never known to the Turks or the Arabs as "Palestine" until the last century when the Jews started coming and not seizing -- not a single dunam or inch was seized -- but rather buying, at greatly inflated rates, usually from Arab absentee landowners, whatever land was for sale, and of course more than 90% of the land was state and waste land, and not to be bought, but rather inherited by the Mandatory Authority as the successor to the Ottomans, and then from the Mandatory Authority, passed correctly, given the clear intent of the League of Nations and its Mandates Commission, to the state of Israel.

The "Palestinians" are not simple, gentle folk who have been struck down by some tornado or hurricane. They have created their own disaster. They have sown the whirlwind of hate. It is they who have refused at every step to compromise when, of course, the Israelis are under not the slightest obligation to do anything for these people, after their behavior. Their claims are based on a false history. Their behavior entitles them to no sympathy. They should, by rights, be integrated into the Arab countries around, countries with which they share a coommon religion, language, culture, and everything else, and of course a great manyh of them are just one or two or three generations removed from those who arrived between 1900 and 1940, from Egypt, from Transjordan, from Iraq. This is all, nowadays, overlooked -- not least by the tongue-tied and ignorant Israeli leaders, who appear not to know how to make their case, and certainly have no idea how to talk about Islam. That is why the Western countries must not follow Israel's example, for tiny Israel apparently was so eager to make alliances of convencie with Iran under the Shah, and with Turkey before Erdogan, that it could not tell itself, much less the world, how it is Islam itself that requires any treaty between Muslims and Infidels to be considered a "truce" treaty to be broken whenever the Muslims feel themselves to be sufficiently strong.

There are kalashnikovs, and weaponry of every sort, all over the "Palestinian" territories. Very few work; very few seek work elsewhere. They have been the most coddled "refugees" (phony refugees, who could easily have been settled in other Arab countries long ago, but were prevented from doing so so that they would remain the shock troops of the Lesser Jihad, that against Israel). For nearly 50 years, vast sums have been poured out by the Infidels, through UNRWA, to keep the whole ridiculous and dangerous -- for all Infidels -- edifice of support going. In so doing, many other real refugees, many who really needed support, have been scanted. Are not the Africans who starved to death in Ethiopia (not least because Ethiopia never harnessed the water of the Nile for irrigation, for the Egyptians have always made clear that the Nile water , in the view of the Arab Muslim government in Cairo, is not to be shared), or have been made refugees by the persecutions and mass murders conducted by the Arab Muslims in the Sudan (backed to the hilt diplomatically by Egypt and the rest of the Arab League), have some greater call on our sympathies, instead of that portion of the vast Arab Muslim people, who since 1973 have received close to $10 trillion dollars, received it not because they did anything to deserve it, but only because of an accident of geology.

Any money given to the "Palestinians" --whether Hamas's Fast Jihad, or the preceding government's Slow Jihad -- is essentially Jizyah. It both expresses, and encourages, a habit of obeisance and submission to Arab Muslims by all those in Europe and America who continue to think, for reasons that cannot be fathomed, that somehow we Infidels owe those local Arabs something.

They wish to destroy, if they could, the state of Israel. That state embodies an essential part of Western civilization. That state contains the beginnings, and the physical center, of boht Judaism and Christianity. There is every reason to believe that if the local Arabs -- those so-called "Palestinians" -- ever get a state of their own it will not be "solution" but mewrely a way-station on the inexorable road to Israel's destruction. The asymmetry in population, in land area, in wealth, is fantastic. Yet we, the Infidels of this world, permit our governments to continue to pay Jizyah to those conducting the Lesser Jihad, and indeed to other Arab and Muslim states that apparently we are to be responsible for, and not those rich Arab states accumulating wealth at the rate of billions a week.

Every doller spent on "humanitarian aid" (if that is what we are going to call it and pretend it is) will simply free up other money that will be spent on weapons of war, or sending "Palestinians" to train or study the technology of war (including chemical, biological and nuclear war). It makes no sense. One would not, in the middle of World War II, sent money to Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan, whether or not the former had suffered spring floods in Thuringia or the latter a typhoon off the island of Sado. This is a war -- a war made not by the West on Islam, but by Islam on the West. It is not right, it is silly, to make a distinction in this case, with this implacable and hate-filled, because self-taught in hate, enemy, between "humanitrain" and any other kind of aid. It is cruel to Israel. It is cruel to all the world's Infidels.

And itmakes no sense.

If just one political figure pointed this out, pointed out that the distinction between "humanitarian" and other forms of aid in this case is a phony distinction, for the first frees up money for the latter, that the "Palestinians" will not, if given aid, modify their views -- it is only if they are completely cut off from Western aid that, possibly, they may over time modify those views, and over time does not mean a year or a decade, it could do a lot. If that same political figure could describe, accurately, the continued foreign aid to other Muslim states, such as Egyupt and Pakistan, as nothing more than Jizyah that does not, and cannot, possibly win friends, and that it is as ridiculous to support them, given their immutable attitudes, rooted in Islam, and that in giving them such aid, we actually free up money that the Saudis and other rich Arabs might otherwise be asked to give to Egypt, Pakistan, Jordan, and that is now avaialable for the purposes of spreading Islam with all the instruemnts of Jihad paid for by the rich Arabs.

One person, saying these things in Congress, or out, would overnight become a major figure, someone to whom the public would respond. For it is all true. And everyone is hungry for those home truths to be said. Just the way people in that famous story waited until someone pointed and noted that the Emperor had no clothes. And then suddenly everyone else noted it as well.

Who will be the first? Who will speak the truth?

Who will be the first? Who will speak the truth?

In this old army movie, a comedy, the sergeant pleads for a volunteer to go on a suicide mission behind the lines. Nobody steps forward. Sarge frowns, and de,amds again that a real man step forward. Suddenly, all the men in the squad but one take one step backward, leaving the hero-to-be one step forward.

How can we make this happen?

MOSLEM SUPERIORITY ISLAMIC MAJORITY HADITH PEDOPHILIC CUPIDITY MO MO

Never, ever, discount the great importance of the 6th Pillar of Islam: the threat of personal murder of you or your loved ones. It's called the Abu & Asma Gambit, and it works.

Foreign aid of any sort is unconstitutional. I cannot get excited about this development. Wake me when we cease funding entirely. Not one thin dime to the Mohammedans.

Posted by: Lepanto [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 7, 2006 11:27 PM

The stinking UN cannot be trusted with money!! What the slimy bureaucrats don't steal for themselves, they will channel to the terrorists. Why are we obligated to support the squatters in Palestine who are there by choice? All they do is breed and complain about their deplorable lives. If my life was as miserable as they claim theirs are, the last thing I would do is bring twenty children into the world to suffer the same misery. But HAMAS encourages the breeding of expendable shahids. I would rather see that money piled up and burned than given to those despicable parasites.

These people do not deserve to be perpetually supported by European and American charity. I don't know of any other people in the world that have been official refugees for over fifty years. This has to be the most egregious squandering of money in the history of the world and I cannot imagine a less worthy cause than the barbarians in Palestine.

Somehow, it looks like the only way we can be kept from paying our Jiziya is by the Mohammedans being stupid enough to elect the like of Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood (Egypt), MMA (Pakistan), BNP (Bangladesh, not UK), Badr Brigades (Iraq), and so on.

It's just so maddening

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 8, 2006 3:20 AM

I don't find this encouraging in the least. It is not the U.S. ending funding, it is the U.S. using the U.N. as a middleman to continue funding at the original (or increased) rate.

A quick shell-game, and again everyone is falling all over themselves congratulating the Administration on their tough stance.

Feh.

The day after the 7/7 bombings, the G8 leaders said they'd give the 'Palestinians' $6 billion, which I believe they upped to $9 billion shortly afterwards.

What is happening to this money? Has there been any mention anywhere that it has been frozen?
If not, the Hamastinians are well on course to receive massive amounts of funding anyway.

What I don't understand is why the Muslim "brethren" in Iran/Saudi Arabia/the Gulf States - all awash with money - don't cough up for the poor, suffering, gentle and oppressed Palis that they are so keen to assist? Why is the Wicked West doing the job they should be doing?

Last Sunday, an article appeared in the Bergen Record of Northern New Jersey written by a field correspondent visiting Gaza. He reported that the Gaza Strip is an overcrowded, chaotic hellhole, with no functional traffic lights, garbage piled up and festering, countless unfinished buildings slowly disintegrating, and no economy, no employment. Yet everywhere there is graffiti praising suicide bombers and enjoining others to become "martyrs."
Nowhere does he mention that the EU, the UNWRA, and the USA -along with Israel- have given billions to the Palestinian Authority over the last few years. For what? On the evidence, the PA is incapable of governing. There is no infrastructure, certainly not in Gaza. No economy. Nothing. The Palestinians who were interviewed by this reporter, it should be noted, blamed everything on Israel. No one expressed any anger at their own government's outrageous corruption and incompetence.

Dear Alarmed Pig Farmer,

Murder is ALWAYS personal.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist. I find you very articulate, concise, and RIGHT. But that was funny!)

It really amazes me that they still want the US to fund them.

There seems to be shamelessness ~ as on one side its ‘kill the Infidel’ and on the other its ‘we need the Infidel’s money - to survive’.

And now China is showing support for Hamas - as I remember China also showed support for Milosevic - it seems they didn't see the concentration camps full of emaciated people there. But in China - their Islamic population to the West - is heavily oppressed - where contact with the outside Islamic world is not permitted. But then the Chinese Islamic girls are in school - you win some - you loose some!

Posted by: special_guest [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 8, 2006 4:01 PM

..Allah will provide for them, special_guest sardonically posts. I forgot to mention (see my earlier posting, above) that the Bergen Record correspondent also reports that the Palestinians typically have enormous families - twelve, even fourteen children are commonplace. Evidently, Palestinians do not worry about how their broods will be provided for - Hugh's "inshallah fatalism" reaping its pernicious harvest. The Palestinians, reports the BR correspondent, blame it all on the Israelis, who have closed the border due to the relentless Palestinian jihad, eliminating many, possibly most, of the jobs inside Israel formerly held by these Gaza Arabs. Yet these Gazans continue to fire missiles into Israel on a daily basis. They then complain bitterly that Israel oppresses and isolates them,, taking jobs away. What chutzpah. But the correspondent apparently views this population with some sympathy. How? Why?

Posted by: commonsense [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 8, 2006 4:56 PM

When the news of the fateful Sep.11 reached ,the Palestinians came out in the streets, dancing with their women and children.
Americans had the great heart of "love your dispiser'attitude to send monthly an enormous sum of money for the 'upliftment' of these Palestinians.Late Yaser Arafat syphoned most of these for his personal 'upliftment'.
Now, USA has realised its mistake of funding Hamas, which always acted as a archenemy of the West. Now Usa can divert this funds to the Homeless in its own country.
