Abbas heading to Europe to herd the dhimmis back into line

"Abbas Heading for Europe to Break Through Isolation of Hamas," from Palestine Media Center – PMC, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Meanwhile Abbas arrived in Jordan on Friday en route to Turkey, Norway, Finland and France.

On Thursday, Abbas received a letter from British Prime Minister Tony Blair, delivered by his Middle East envoy, Lord Levy, outlining proposals to revive the moribund peace process with Israel.

“The letter contains ways to unfreeze the peace process and the role that Britain can play in this regard,” Rafiq Al-Husseini, said after Levy met with Abbas in Ramallah.

“There are strong indications that intense international efforts are being deployed to restart the peace process after the formation of a government in Israel,” said Al-Husseini.

Speaking to MPs on Wednesday, Blair reiterated his support for a negotiated two-state solution for the Middle East conflict.

“The whole of the international community stands ready and willing to take forward a negotiated solution on the basis of a fair deal that allows for an independent and viable Palestinian state, providing that Hamas recognise the state of Israel and give up violence,” he said.

The EU said Friday its freeze of budget aid for the PNA will stay in effect indefinitely but blamed Israel for the PNA government's financial crunch, said spokeswoman for EU External Relations Commissioner.

Complying with a diplomatic boycott of the Palestinian government, France has refused a visa for the Palestinian Planning Minister, Samir Abu Eisha, to attend a conference in Paris, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Jean-Baptiste Mattei said Friday.

However France announced Wednesday that it would not halt relief aid to the Palestinians, a move, which it said would be a “major political mistake.”

Ahead of his tour, Abbas said: “If the European countries don't want to have contact with the Palestinian government, there are other means to maintain aid directed towards the Palestinian people,” he said in an interview with French daily Le Monde published Friday.

Abbas said he would explain his position during visits to the leaders of Norway, Turkey and France, “so that the Palestinians are not penalized by the economic blockade.”

“I believe that the stop in European aid is unjustified,” he told Le Monde.

Abbas said government employees' salaries should be paid, in full or in part, as soon as possible.

“We are going to make proposals along this line to the Americans and Europeans in the hope that they will be accepted,” he said.

Earlier this month, Yasser Abed Rabbo, member of the PLO Executive Committee, told the “Voice of Palestine” radio that Abbas would visit the Brussels-based European Commission and address the European parliament during his tour.

On Friday Chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erakat, said the president would also talk to European leaders about reviving peace negotiations with Israel, frozen since a Palestinian uprising erupted in late 2000.

“He will ask for assistance in holding an international conference for peace as preparation to negotiate a permanent agreement in accordance with the road map,” Erakat said, referring to a UN-adopted blueprint for peace.

How can he do that with Hamas' opposition?

why do the europeans owe the PA the money to pay salaries, whereas their Arab brothers have billions lying around doing nothing useful?

Awesome, charlie. A startling moment of clarity. Poetic. I copied that one off to Word for the purpose of forwarding. I especially like the allusion to the 6th Pillar of Islam.

MO KORANS MO BILL CLINTONS MO HADITHS MO RINO ALFRED E. NEWSMANS MO MO

As to Abbas' mission to the Islamic Republic of EU, his hand-wringing pleading eyes question will be can't we all just get along?

The enervated Marxist ministers wil get misty, their Adam's apples will bob in near-sob, and they'll pull out their checkbooks and fund jihad and the layabout Palestinian, whatever a Palestinian is. The American taxpayers, of course, will underwrite the disbursement.

May they shoot this worthless sob...

(Of course I know they WON'T--but it's a nice fantasy).

I really don't see what the problem is.

The 'Palestinian' people voted in a bunch of terrorists, and it is supposedly against the social contract of Western governments to support terrorists.

Therefore, stop all monies and aid.

If the 'Palestinians' suffer, then it is upon the new government to find a way to alleviate that.

That's what governing is about - providing (good) governance and infrastructure for your people.

I don't believe there should be any aid at all made available to the PNA from Western countries. If it upsets their muslim minorities, well, I guess they would also need to consider their own options.

There is no "peace process".

There never has been a "peace process".

There never will be a "peace process".

It is all always a method of warfare, for the Islamic Imperium, by other means.

Israel will be demographically destroyed, democratically, because they failed to understand who their enemies are. Not the "Palestinians" but all Muslims. Inside or outside of their "borders".

The War started in 1948, and will end when the dhimmified Jews are under total Muslim control within the former state of Israel, -which, for irony's sake, the Muslim majority may keep as a 'name' for a few years after the ultimate fate of the soon-to-be minority Jews there is sealed.

Why Israel ever played this unwinnable game, when they had a chance, in 1967, to expell the enemies within, is a mystery deeper I can fathom.

Suicidal messianic folly?

Delusional dreams of brotherhood with fellow "semites"?

Either way, I see no way help those who will not help themselves.

They've had their chances, and eluded them all.

Maybe they are just too unrealistic, being so steeped in the otherworldy wishes of their faith?

I'm sure they'll be welcome to move to Western lands which have appreciated them in the past. (The Dutch would probably be glad to greet 2 million Jews moving there to counter-balance the million Muslim infil-traitors who they foolishly allowed into their land since WW II as "guest workers".)

I see no Jewish future for Israel, because of the way they have stacked the cards against themselves. Half-fighting against a partially-understood enemy with indecisive tools.

Diaspora II approaches.

But, it may make Imperialistic Islam easier to defeat in the long run.

Abbas said government employees' salaries should be paid, in full or in part, as soon as possible.
No problem Mr. Abbas pay them if you want, but it won't be with US or EU money.

Arabs are long on talk and lets hope they keep true to their past habit of being short on payments ... for their friends!

The 'Palestinian' people voted in a bunch of terrorists...

No, they voted in a bunch of Moslems intent on actualizing the literal commandments of the putative koranic god who goes by the personal name Allah. That's who they voted in.

Isn't Abbas irrelavent by any stretch of the imagination. What, the Hamas bastards will use Abbas as a token for the West, representing the 'PA.' What a complete joke. I think he just wants more loot in his Paris bank accounts.

Wladimir Klitchko destroyed Chris Byrd tonight. Like most heavyweight fights, it was a bore.

A tip for you fight fans.....in late May or early June, the crafty old Mexican veteran featherweight Marco Antonio Bererra is fighting young Mexican-American Rocky Juarez. Figures to be an excellent fight. Both are brilliant tactical fighters yet neither is adverse to mixing it up.

Back in 2001, Bererra dethroned England's Prince Naseem Hamed, who on that night in Las Vegas, made a brazen entry into the arena, grabbed the announcer's mic during the introductions and shouted "Allah O Akbar! Allah O Akbar!"

Bererra kept his composure throughout, fighting an incredibly intelligent fight, jabbing, counter-punching, and confusing the then-undefeated (and obviously over-confident) Hamed. Bererra won a unanimous decision. In my mind, the fight had more sociological relevance than any since Ali's days.

It was glorious to see the loud-mouthed Hamed, with his in-your-face Islam, thoroughly beaten for the first time in his pro career....(to his credit, he made no excuses in the post-fight interview).

Thanks for indulging me folks.

Cornelius-

I hope that was a coded message to some Western agents deep in Iran.

Otherwise- WTF?!

Hello JW-DW-watchers!

... from a beautiful place right in the middle of the vineyards of Alsace Lorraine:

The question is ´why are the Europeans so eager to pay the Jiziya´ to the Pali´s, for nothing in return?

Are they simply being blackmailed and do they pay out of fear of terrorist-attacks in their countries, or are there other reasons besides this rather plausible one?

After all, to pay 50 million is cheaper than another bomb-attack, having your subways blown up, 10 000 cars burnt out or 200+ people killed by pali-terror.

The professional liar Saeb Erikat is now asking for an international "peace" conference to impose a settlement on Israel that the Arabs are not strong enough themselves to impose. Meanwhile, he does not represent most of the Arabs living in the zones of the palestinian authority [they support Hamas]. Bear in mind that Erikat helped the late yasser a. to spread the big lie of a "Jenin massacre."

In this context, the position of UK foreign secretary Jack Straw is simply revolting. Blair is hardly better.

Abbas said “so that the Palestinians are not penalized by the economic blockade.”

Abbas said government employees,"salaries should be paid, in full or in part, as soon as possible".

And why should "Palestininans" not be penalised. If they voted in Hamas they should pay the penalty.

Government worker's salaries should indeed be payed - by the government that employs them, and NOT by our governments in Europe or the USA, out of OUR taxes. Not one single government in Europe or the USA has asked its people if they wished to have their hard earned money given to self-acknowledged terrorists, terrorist sympathisers and those who just accept Jizya as it is good Jihad.

“[Abbas] will ask for .. an international conference for peace ... in accordance with ... a UN-adopted blueprint for peace.

WARNING: here is where the action is: they (Abbas, Bush, and Israeli leaders) all want to get the UN involved as a step to world government. (The mid-east would be the hardest place to consolidate, so they need a perpetual war to keep the fractious Arabs united.)

"On Thursday, Abbas received a letter from British Prime Minister Tony Blair outlining proposals to revive the moribund peace process with Israel."

What "Peace Process" is the PM referring to?

"“I believe that the stop in European aid is unjustified,” he told Le Monde. Abbas said government employees' salaries should be paid, in full or in part, as soon as possible."

Shame, Europe, shame - you have fallen behind in your Jizya payments.

" However France announced Wednesday that it would not halt relief aid to the Palestinians, a move, which it said would be a “major political mistake.” "

Completely understandable, too many burnt Citroens in the streets of Paris already.
