So you can't stand the fact that women can vote, drive, get an education, raise their children, have reproductive choices, own businesses, have their own money, make their own decisions? You would rather women be enslaved, barefoot and pregnant, and locked away in their own home never to be seen unless taken out at your own whim?

You are either in a bad relationship, a muslim or 200 years old.

The truth of the matter is that the Christian faith has always been wonderful to women. Remember that it goes back to when Jesus loved his mother, his first follower. Also the apostle Paul mentions in his letter to the Galations " There is in Christ, neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, man or woman. " So it goes to show that women's dignity and respect is a part of Biblical Christian faith.

You need to be corrected. The Christian faith is great because of the honor given to women by Jesus. Also in the Catholic Church, women are honored greatly. Not only the mother of Jesus, the three women doctors of the Church, but also there have been women honored with canonization because of special devotions in honor of Jesus, such as the Sacred Heart, ( Margaret Mary ), and the Divine Mercy, ( Faustina ). It is because of these women that these devotions have gained great respect. Please do some research.

Mikee, if this war you're talking about is islam, then we are talking about men's rights too. People have the right to think about their religion, discuss, question and then leave if they so desire. Without being killed.

I think men have the right to live in peace without worrying about their wives ankles showing or about having to kill their daughter because she was raped and therefore their "honor" was spoiled. Men also have the right to not have to worry about the length of their beard, washing their butt the "right" way. Being forced to protest over stupid ideas. Men have the right not to be persecuted or tortured for their beliefs.

And get ready.... so do women. But it goes deeper there. Women muslims should have the right to choose their own husbands, marry at a decent age, be treated with respect by their husbands, fathers, brothers, not be killed because they love another man and don't want to marry the chosen one. Women muslims shouldn't have to worry about being stoned because they are raped. Women muslims live in those muslim countries and should have a say in how those countries are run. Just like a man. Women muslims shouldn't have to live with the thought they are just a giant walking vagina and have to be covered at all times.

Don't put boundaries on yourself at such a young age. Your thinking will change as you age. I hope it's for the better.

(Maybe that would be the safest course in your case?)

There’s something particularly unpleasant about the sight of men beating up women in a public place: some of the more offputting newsclips out of Afghanistan before and just after the fall of the Taliban was the sight of officials laying into burqa clad women with whips or truncheons as a matter of routine crowd control. There’s something about what Islam does to the male psyche that seems to make some men feel this kind of bullying sadism is sanctified by god. Something similar occurred in the UK in Bradford where the local Muslims, who had attracted prostitutes to the area in the first place and been able to buy houses cheaply because it was a red light district, decided, a few years ago, to drive the girls away, having shipped over wives from Pakistan and wishing to see property prices rise. The egregious Ziauddin Sardar described what followed as a battle between local Muslims and Afro-Caribbean (presumably Christian) pimps but in fact newspaper reports were quite clear: the men were beating up the women on the streets in a concerted and organised campaign. The result was that the red light district moved elsewhere. I was disgusted that this particularly repulsive Muslim habit had been allowed to be practised on UK soil.

mikeeusa prob. bases his whole theology on the verse that says the woman to the man is like the Church to Christ, and must obey her husband in everyway. What he then fails to do is read on as to what the men are supposed to do, which is: men are to love their wives as Christ loves the Church! WHOA!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT CHRIST DID FOR THE CHURCH?? He died for her, giving his life so that she might know it...kinda makes you look at things differently doesn't it? So the role of the husband is to guide the wife (and family) in paths of righteousness and to sacrifice all he has for them, loving them with a God-like love (agape).

"Do what we say or else" seems to be the standard response. These people have no fear of the authorities becuase there is no authority. They attack innocents then claim THEY are being persecuted. Our governments' see these people doing this and still kow-tow for fear of being branded islamophobic. Until the governments' of all western countries decide to do the right thing and not concern themselves with the next election we will continue to be marginalised by these fear mongers until there is indeed a Eurabia.

I hope you were being sarcastic? I know of very, very few, if any, devoutly Christian men (or observant Jews) who engage in this kind of abuse. Such acts are absolutely contrary to our faiths and are roundly condemned.

A "Christian" who abuses women and children is not a real Christian and a "Jew" who does likewise is not observant of Judaism, whatever they may label themselves.

On the other hand, Islam is the only major world "religion" that does give divine sanction to abuse women and children. In fact, it promises its male followers a paradise of endless sex with submissisive females and little boys. These are the facts.

islam has sanctioned wife beating and honour killings, men who do this and allow this to be done are weak minded miserable monsters. today l saw this muslim driving with his wife who was in a total shroud black on colour sitting in the back seat. l drove past him and gave him the royal salute.
only a confident man can deal with srong women. seems the reason why muslims are forever in the stone age, as they too busy trying beat up on their wives and children.
