STONETOWN, Zanzibar - Welcome to the island of Zanzibar. Anchored in the Indian Ocean 50 miles off Africa's east coast, Zanzibar is one of the few places that can truly be called paradise on Earth.But there is more to this tropical island than meets the eye.
Zanzibar was once East Africa's main slave-trading port. By the mid-1800's, 50,000 slaves were bought and sold each year. The dealers sailed here from across Asia and the Middle East. They returned with their boats filled with men, women, and children. The practice was eventually outlawed.
But two centuries later, the brutal trade has taken on a new dimension. Young Christian girls are being abducted, forced to convert to Islam and, in some cases, shipped to parts of the Islamic world.
Flora Davidson knows how it feels to have a child disappear. "I looked everywhere for her, but I could not find her. Even the police gave up looking for her," Flora said.
In July 2004, Flora's 14-year-old Christian daughter Joyce was kidnapped by members of UAMSHO, a radical Muslim group on the island.
"I was told that from this day on, I would not be going back home to my family. You will become a Muslim," Joyce said.
Her kidnapper was Mariam, a 45-year-old Muslim woman. Mariam refused to talk to CBN News on camera, but she insisted that Joyce had voluntarily become a Muslim...

Instances such as this is what really makes people seeth with anger towards Islam. Just consider this happening to your daughter, sister, neice, etc. What would you do? This is exactly why I believe Muslims have to be seperated from the rest of humanity - even the last hold-outs from conversion in their society will eventually be forced to convert or killed. America needs to be the safe haven from Islam.

sofia, at first I thought you'd write something like "Christians in developed countries are busy complaining about a movie while Christians are persecuted, kidnapped and murdered in Islamic countries." But no, you had to go on some incoherent temper tantrum about the Da Vinci Code, as if it had anything to do with anything. I really didn't know they let patients access the Internet in mental asylums.

Muslims have proven once again, they as a whole have no redeeming values. This is not only barbaric, it's like neanderthals. They can't find a wife, so they go kidnap one. We, the civilized part of the world, make excuses or hide our eyes to what this cult is constantly doing. Violating their own is bad enough, but when they start with everyone else, that's when there needs to be a stop put to it.
And to think some of their countries are on the human rights board of the U.N.
I'm afraid though, that Mariam, if she were still alive after kidnapping my daughter, wouldn't be able to speak to anyone, much less aid in another kidnapping.

At Shanidar paleoanthropologists found the skeleton of a individual of advanced age who'd been severly handicapped for many years:
Clearly this individual must have been something of a practical burden to a group of mobile Neanderthal hunters, yet they had evidently looked after him as a part of their community since birth, as an individual in such a physical state could hardly have survived on his own.
Pollen traces show they also placed flowers in a grave.

eradicate Islam NOW!!!, you are non moslem in west country have the advantages to prevent Islam spread in your country, because Islam is not majority yet in your country. Start it from your local community, prevent the moslem when they want to build their mosque on your local place. I really agree like what Germanies has done to prevent moslem build the mosque.
This is the same like what moslems has done to Indonesian Christian. Many of Christian churches has been closed by moslems in here. If we don't want to close it, moslems threat us and destroy or burn the church.

If only it was as simple as that.
1st i risk being branded an islamaphobe, rasist or bigot. After that no1 will take any complaint from me seriously as im branded 1 (or all) of the above.
Our PC councils and government are 2 busy bending over backwards to accommodate these parasites.
Im afraid we r going to have to wait for the muslims to do something absolutly terrible for the ppl to wake up. As if 9/11, london, madrid or the rest werent enough.

There is a strong inference here that Joyce was raped while in captivity.

How many of these women sold into slavery are forced to convert to Islam? Reports like this that I've seen on the sex trafficking in the Balkans don't normally address that angle but this DW article makes me wonder about that aspect of it.

In Tanzania, the only Islamic parts of that country are Zanzibar and the capital Dar es Salam. How does that country classify as an Islamic country, as I've seen it done in many places?

What you have is basely hearsay evident not allow once in our legal court of law. First Sexual slave of Christian woman are being done also by Christian man. First it very hard to stop any religious group from builting they house of workshipped. The next pope will mostly like these the last pope as it take afew billion dollar ayear
to run they headquater in Rome. When the number of foller dry up the money will dry up to run their headquater. Christian will still be around for sometime just they highter ranks will slowly not be around as it take money to support alots of hight ranking leader.

First you claim this interview is a lie (hearsay), then you boast that Christianity is dying. There are more than 2 billion Christians in the world, and they include the wealthiest societies that have ever existed, so I don't see any chance of it "drying up".
If you think you are defending Islam by mocking another religion, you're doing a poor job of it. If I may say, Islam is almost beyond defending, and appears to be trying to commit suicide by violently provoking non-Muslims the world over into a war Islam can't possibly win.

Almost? Islam's texts, practices, and history our totally beyong defense. If you think about it, Islam is totally beyond defense. It is a world takeover cult built around hives of sex slavery. Not a bad combo, so long one has the heart of a Class A Felon.

I believe the insanity these people suffer from is due to following a political system sold to them as a religion. It must be very difficult to stay sane when at every turn islam contradicts itself. This is cult behaviour rather than the behaviour of people who believe in a single creator. Where is the logic in destroying what your creator created because a human has told you to? This is a perfect recipe for creating psychosis in an individual and evetually a whole group.

It is happening in Britain too, Muslims raping white girls as young as 11-12. The Bradford Paedophile scandal, covered up and brushed under the carpet. They get them pregnant and as the "father" is a Muslim it is another Jihadi. The British media and government find it quite acceptable as long as the "far right" doesn't get any political mileage from it.

Don’t forget that from their Islamic perspective they are doing these girls a huge favor, since, as the Koran makes clear, all Infidels are justly doomed to hell fire (Eg. 98.6). This core dogma is a major perniciousness of Islam: a never-ending excuse for Muslim subjugation of peoples.

Would it suprise you that the Christian faith is 2.5 billion and growing? The Christian faith is THE FASTEST GROWING FAITH in the world. Thanks to the witness of not only Catholic missionaries, but conservitive mainline Protestants and evangelicals, new members are coming to the Lord everyday. The fastest rate of growth is in sub-saharia Africa and the rest of the global south. Expect new Christian missionaries to go to the west and bring the west back to faith in Christ.
