Chesler: Priorities Out of Order

Phyllis Chesler asks, "Where are the feminists?" in this article at NRO:

The Dutch people have driven the heroic Aayan Hirsi Ali out of parliament, out of Holland, and out of Europe. Their shameful appeasement of murderous, totalitarian Islamism has accomplished what the jihadists could not do: sadden one of Europe’s most important critics of jihad. Bat Yeor, the author of Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis, tells me that this confirms “how low Europe has sunk. Instead of being grateful to Hirsi Ali, she is banned.” Robert Spencer, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide To Islam, assures me that “Holland would rather become a Sharia state than have to put up with someone who is trying to stop that from happening.” To be fair, Holland has recently strengthened its immigration policies in ways that Muslims claim are “offensive” and “discriminatory.” Would-be immigrants will now have to pay 350 euros ($430) to take a “civic integration examination,” must already speak Dutch, and must indicate a willingness to live in a country in which nude beaches and homosexual marriage are legal.

This represents a late-in-the-day, but serious, effort to control immigration. But Holland has also just sacrificed and exiled their most important prophet. Theo von Gogh, Hirsi Ali’s collaborator on the film Submission, was murdered by a second-generation Dutchman of Moroccan origin. Since then, Hirsi Ali has lived under 24-hour guard. Her Dutch neighbors did not want to live near such a high security risk (which also lowered their property values) and brought a lawsuit to have her evicted. On April 27, they succeeded. Then, a documentary aired in Holland which alleged that Hirsi Ali had “lied” in order to be granted political asylum and Dutch citizenship. Former Immigration Minister Hilbrand Nawijn called for Hirsi Ali to be “stripped of her Dutch nationality and deported.” Nawijn was head of Immigration and Naturalization Service when Hirsi Ali applied for asylum. Hirsi Ali’s own family provided “evidence” against her in the film. According to the Wall Street Journal, on May 15, Holland’s current immigration minister, told Hirsi Ali that “her passport, granted in 1997, would be annulled.”

Like Oriana Fallaci, who dares not travel to her beloved native Italy or to Switzerland lest she be arrested and tried for her views about Islam, Hirsi Ali will now also be living in exile in America—the last, and perhaps only, bunker against jihad. Will she be granted political asylum in America? And if so, on what grounds?...

Read it all.

OT:

Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims.

"This is reminiscent of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. "Iran is moving closer and closer to the ideology of the Nazis."

Iranian expatriates living in Canada yesterday confirmed reports that the Iranian parliament, called the Islamic Majlis, passed a law this week setting a dress code for all Iranians, requiring them to wear almost identical "standard Islamic garments."

The law, which must still be approved by Iran's "Supreme Guide" Ali Khamenehi before being put into effect, also establishes special insignia to be worn by non-Muslims.

Iran's roughly 25,000 Jews would have to sew a yellow strip of cloth on the front of their clothes, while Christians would wear red badges and Zoroastrians would be forced to wear blue cloth.

"There's no reason to believe they won't pass this," said Rabbi Hier. "It will certainly pass unless there's some sort of international outcry over this."

Bernie Farber, the chief executive of the Canadian Jewish Congress, said he was "stunned" by the measure. "We thought this had gone the way of the dodo bird, but clearly in Iran everything old and bad is new again," he said. "It's state-sponsored religious discrimination."

Ali Behroozian, an Iranian exile living in Toronto, said the law could come into force as early as next year.

It would make religious minorities immediately identifiable and allow Muslims to avoid contact with non-Muslims.

Mr. Behroozian said it will make life even more difficult for Iran's small pockets of Jewish, Christian and other religious minorities -- the country is overwhelmingly Shi'ite Muslim. "They have all been persecuted for a while, but these new dress rules are going to make things worse for them," he said.

The new law was drafted two years ago, but was stuck in the Iranian parliament until recently when it was revived at the behest of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

A spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Ottawa refused to comment on the measures. "This is nothing to do with anything here," said a press secretary who identified himself as Mr. Gharmani.

"We are not here to answer such questions."

The Simon Wiesenthal Centre has written to Kofi Annan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, protesting the Iranian law and calling on the international community to bring pressure on Iran to drop the measure.

"The world should not ignore this," said Rabbi Hier. "The world ignored Hitler for many years -- he was dismissed as a demagogue, they said he'd never come to power -- and we were all wrong."

Mr. Farber said Canada and other nations should take action to isolate Mr. Ahmadinejad in light of the new law, which he called "chilling," and his previous string of anti-Semitic statements.

"There are some very frightening parallels here," he said. "It's time to start considering how we're going to deal with this person."

Mr. Ahmadinejad has repeatedly described the Holocaust as a myth and earlier this year announced Iran would host a conference to re-examine the history of the Nazis' "Final Solution."

He has caused international outrage by publicly calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map."

Iran does not yet have nuclear weapons, but Tehran believed by Western nations to be developing its own nuclear military capability, in defiance of international protocols and peace treaties.

The United States, France and Israel accuse Iran of using a civilian nuclear program to secretly build a weapon. Iran denies this, saying its program is confined to generating electricity.

Here we go again......

Why are some words spelled between " ????

Ayaan has "lied" and has admitted this. No doubt about that! The "evidence" was very clear and undisputable. Rebecca why don't you see the real truth? Your posted article states:

Holland would rather become a Sharia state than have to put up with someone who is trying to stop that from happening.

REALLY? Then where was AHA when integration (her political portfolio) was on the agenda? She was out and about in other country's. NOT doing the work she claims is so important. She only came to 10% of the debates. Not very good for someone who has such strong opinions about this! She could have achieved more but was very busy making a name for herself in the world. Nothing wrong with that for a lot of people but in my eyes, she should have done a bit of work for the job she was hired to do in the first place. Then she would have earned more respect in my eyes. TALK alone doesn't do it!!!!!

NEXT statement:

” To be fair, Holland has recently strengthened its immigration policies in ways that Muslims claim are “offensive” and “discriminatory.” Would-be immigrants will now have to pay 350 euros ($430) to take a “civic integration examination,” must already speak Dutch, and must indicate a willingness to live in a country in which nude beaches and homosexual marriage are legal.

YES and I am proud of it. Have even a better piece of information for you. If they do not pass this test, they will have to pay 5,000 Euro for the course AND get deported.
I am a fan of MP Verdonk (immigration and integration). She is the first MP that has actually booked results in her political portfolio. Finally the immigration laws in the Netherlands are getting stricter (stricter than the US for example) and more people are refused asylum. Only political asylum has a chance. Economical asylum is not an option, something I strongly believe in.
If we make an exception for AHA now, then many many more will follow. That is why I say 'Rules are rules'.

And then:
America—the last, and perhaps only, bunker against jihad.

America a bunker? The last one at that?!
What a joke! How ignorant are you???
You are being eaten from the inside!! Watch for the worm. You're pointing the finger at the Netherlands for upholding the immigration law in this case. You should be applauding it!

As I stated before:
To me the best way to fight a an Islamitic take-over is to kill them economicly. If you have no money, then you have no arms, no education and most importantly no power. As long as Saudi Arabia has oil, that country has power. Remember that SA is the base where the hate is coming from. Do your best to weaken them and make them economicly impotent, that will work better then any verbal or fysical threat. You can shout at your neighbour and you can hit him in the face, but take his job, money and house away and he has to go.....and that hurts more then anything else.

Tell that to your millions of ILLEGAL immigrants.
Seen them the other day, protesting on the streets. Quite the joke alright!
Some state that you cannot deport them anymore....there are too many now and they do valuable work......worm worm worm worm......eating the US from the inside......

Have a nice day,
Inge

"You are being eaten from the inside!!"

True, but our 'illegals' are (for the most part) Catholic and are not killing people in the streets for offending the Church and/or the Pope.

I do applaud the Netherlands, their loss is our gain. We will take the enlighten anti-jihadists, they can keep the knife wielding maniacs

(Lord knows we have enough of them here already, we don't need to import them)

When the crowds gathered under the hot Jerusalem sun, some time around early spring in the year 29 AD, Pontius Pilate stepped out onto the balcony and offered the crowd one last chance to free the man their leaders had handed over to him.

"No" roared the crowd, "Free Barabas"

"Free Barabas. Free Barabas". They chanted in unison. The crowd, no longer aware of what they were shouting, exhalted in the euphoric mood as they demanded the release of the most notorious killer in Judea.

In Paris a few weeks ago, witnesses report seeing large crowds of 'young people' bearing placards with the words "Free Fofana".

Fofana was the Ivoirien running the gang that slowly tortured Ilam to death over 23 days. He was found a week later in a brothel in Abidjan.

Mumia, a Philadelphia cop killer, will shortly have a street named after him in St Denis, the town which has the earliest gothic church in the world and is the burial place of some of the wisest kings in Christendom.

The people of Europe have chosen their heroes.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali joins a list of Europeans, for whom this continent no longer feels anything other than hatred.

I hope our ancestors will find it in themselves to forgive us.

But we really deserve only their disdain.

Mr Ape-Pig

You state:

Keep on dreaming!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep on fooling yourself!!!
You really believe that? Then you are truely proving my statement (being ignorant).

Remeber the ones that took flying lessons in Florida???
Worm worm worm......

Sweet dreams,
Inge

Remember, keep your friends close but your enemies closer.....

You need to try and understand what 'Spirit of the Law' means.

Mohammed Bouyeri, the killer of Theo was technically as Dutch as you. I wager that Ayaan Hirsi Ali understood and felt the 'notion' of dutchness more than 1000 of Bouyeri clones out there.

I also wager that most illegals in Holland will continue to live there relatively easily. No one in the western world deports anybody any more, other than a few headline figures. The USA is as weak as Europe on this front and unfortunately Rita Verdonk has come down harshly on AHA the same way the police always fine nice middle class drivers for going 5 km over the speed limit.

It is just because they are easy targets.

If you can get you anger to simmer down a little
you will see that we are all the same side.

Verdonk has shown the same weakness this week that GWB did in his speech on immigration.

The whole of the free world has lost its bearings.

You are of course right about the harsh potential punishments for illegals in Holland but these are purely politcal maneuvers which will not work for the following reasons.

1) Illegals don't have 5000 euros
2) The Human Rights Lawyers will crucify you
3) Holland has open borders with nations such as France who cannot let enough arabs in. Spain who loves to give citizenship to anyone who can breathe. Britain who give citizenships to terrorists.

So the Verdonk getting tough on AHA was an excercise in futility and huge gift to muslims who have been handed a victory without a shot being fired.

I did say "for the most part".

We are America, we get a little bit of everything.

Posted by: Mr Ape Pig [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 10:11 AM

Hirsi Ali is not a threat. We should take in Europe's brightest. Didn't we do this right before WWII, getting the best out of Europe before the Nazi's moved in?

We could send back 50 muslims for every Hirsi Ali we take in. Sounds reasonable to me.

Posted by: freewoman [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 10:11 AM

freewoman, the USA also took a few bright nazis after the war had ended. At least Werner von Braun helped with the space race, even if he did help bomb the crap out of Britain.

If you want to do a swap. we'll trade illegal Mexicans for illegal Muslims any time.

Television's Clean-Up Crew:

1) Holland seems slightly worse than the USA with regard to responding to the problem of Islam, but the USA is riddled with the rot of PC -- not just among "elites" in academia and the media, but throughout our society: and the USA has not been tested with the Muslim problem as Holland and other European countries have, so we shouldn't be so quick to affect a superior attitude. Some posters here seem to think that if we had a Theo Van Gogh incident or a Tube bombing incident, Americans would rise up as one and kick Muslim butt. Ummm, remember 911? Five years after 911, and our society hasn't condemned Islam. Why is the supposedly anti-Islam American majority so deafeningly silent (outside of little Internet forums and chat rooms) whenever Islam continues to be whitewashed?

2) Ayaan Hirsi Ali has symbolic power as a beacon of the anti-Jihad struggle: symbols are important; they shouldn't be treated in ordinary terms -- particularly when the stakes are so serious. It's not like she robbed a bank or something. The Dutch who voted her out are demonstrating a gravely dysfunctional derangement of priorities.

3) The American problem of illegal (and legal) immigration from Latin America (mostly but not entirely Mexico) impinges on the problem of Islamic terrorism because

a) millions of Muslims from Arab countries can (more or less) pass physiognomically as Mexicans and other Latin Americans

b) Muslim jihadists have for years been infiltrating the tri-border Triangle of Paraguay/Brazil/Argentina

c) Latin America is susceptible to anti-American ideologies that can at best prove passively supportive of Muslim infiltration, at second best provide bedfellow alliances, and at worst can result in actual conversions to Islam which would become the new Communism.

An appeal to some of the European posters at this site: I know it's hard for you to break your glib habit of slandering America at every turn, but could you please make an attempt at staying on the anti-Jihad message when you post? Your endless anti-American diatribes make it very difficult for some of us to stomach the thought that we're allies in this fight against Islamic fascism.

I deplore the regular displays of rank anti-Americanism by various European posters at this site. I say to such posters: Tend to your own burning house and the myriad cancers eating YOU from within, my sad hypocritical "friends".

I rarely find the time to post here any more, but I am struck today by various posters above and the various nuggets of stupidity expressed. Their glib attitudes probably are an accurate and ominous reflection of Europe's deadly senility.

How sad for humanity. How sad for the West. How sad for civilization.

The posts here are simply a symptom of Europe's deadly diseases. Once again they display the most appalling inability to identify truth from lies -- true threats from false ones, and friend from foe. This is the exact same inability which repeatedly thrust the world into global conflagrations in the last century -- and I surmise that Europe's current stupidity with regards to Muslim immigration, her disgusting weakness, and her appalling appeasement of fascist Muslim totalitarianism will land the world, yet once again, in the midst of global conflagration.

Pick your poison, my European friends: Your relentless support for Palestinian terrorism, your cancerous antisemitism, your hatred of Israel, the persistence of your diseases of communism and socialism, your deplorable moral relativism, your insane and grotesque anti-Americanism, your endless conflations of America's role in the world with your own heinous colonial predations, your pathetic "diplomacy" (read: abject weakness), your lack of moral compass... I could go on and on, but I won't.

STOP wallowing in useless self pity! STOP wallowing in hatred for America. STOP appeasing Iran. STOP supporting "Palestinian" Jihad against Israel. STOP conflating American Christianity with Islam. STOP conflating American actions and history with your own endless history of crimes against humanity. STOP your anti-semitism. STOP fighting with your staunchest ally and the nation that saved your lives repeatedly from the horrific nightmares you have criminally unleashed upon the world: America valiantly fought and ended your rapine global Colonialism. America valiantly fought and ended your evil brew of Nazism. America valiantly fought and vanquished your evil concoction of Communism. America is now valiantly fighting the cancer of Islamic fascism which you have augmented and inflamed with your actions, ignorance, and slovenliness.

START fighting our fascist Muslim enemies.

And how do you expect European posters to react when we read such rabid anti-European sentiments as that?

Ok, you can patronise and criticise us to the nth degree and we won't respond... In your dreams.

Good post JSLA.

I am going to print it, frame it and hang it on my wall.

To borrow a phrase
GOLD STAR FOR YOU

Posted by: Mr Ape Pig [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 1:09 PM

Whew!! The testosterone!

I think we tend to bash the Euros because their muslims are out of control and they know how P.C. and anti-American some talk and they are intimidating the masses. And Euro leaders don't appear to be doing anything about it. And the fact that it seems everyone turns to the U.S. in times of need when they've let things get out of hand and expect us to come in and clean up.

We just hate that we send money, we send troops, we help others and then they turn around and bash us. Where's the logic?

We are slow to anger. But, we as individuals, tend to punch back when we're punched in the nose.

Posted by: freewoman [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 1:28 PM

Errrrrrrrr, and which country was fighting Nazism from 1939 until 1941 when other allies were dragged in? Nazism was a cancer from one country that threatened to destroy Europe itself.

Oh, but that doesn't fit into your pidgeon hole view of the world, so we'll just ignore it.

Posted by: Celsius [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 1:37 PM

"And how do you expect European posters to react?

Simple. Get over your anti-Americanism and react in one voice against radical islam.

IMO, Hirsi Ali is being made an example for the others to come. Remember she's not being shipped back to Somalia but to the USA where she has a job lined up and a place to live - she's safe.

As we speak the application files of all 'asylum seekers' living in Holland are now being scrutinized by Verdonk and her staff. Any lies discovered on their application forms and they'll be booted out. They can't protest as the name Hirsi Ali will be used repeatedly. A neat trick. Well done Verdonk.

"...patronise..." Interesting choice...

As in "to act as patron, supporter, sponsor..." as in our huge expeditures of blood and treasure for 6 decades to protect and defend Europe from Nazism, Communism, and now Islamism? Is that the connotation you wish to convey when you say "patonise"? If so, thanks for validating my main thrust. There's just this small question: then why are you so vitriolic, contemptuous, and bitter? It seems like we would be friends!

Or do you wish to convey "to go as a customer" as in our huge trade relationship wherein the US has poured trillions into your region, first to rehabilitate it after you nearly ruined the planet with your ruinous internecine hatreds, or how we continue to buoy your economies by being such sterling customers and buying so much output from you??? Is that the connotation you wish to convey when you say "patonise"? If so, thanks for validating my main thrust! There's just this small question: then why are you so vitriolic, contemptuous, and bitter? It seems like we would be friends!

Or do you mean "to treat with condescension"? Is that your connotation? Ahh...

If so, don't act so surprised... and, by the way -- your anti-Americanism is a regular trait displayed in your posts and many others -- it hardly requires frank and honest posts from me to elicit this bigoted anti-American disease from you.

My friend -- if I condescend to you, perhaps it's exactly for the reasons I stated previously. I will dilate on those points here since you seem slow on the uptake: Perhaps Europeans shows themselves to be contemptuous by their unwillingness and apparent inability to defend themselves in the world. Perhaps Europeans shows themselves to be contemptuous by their self deceptions, and their eggregious corruptions and their gargantuan hypocrisies? Perhaps Europeans shows themselves to be contemptuous because they unquestioningly welcomed 25,000,000+ hate filled Muslims into their midst and yet seem hell bent on persecuting the very persons who are ringing the alarum about the threat? Perhaps your contempt is simply being reflected when Americans hear Europeans (of all people in the world this is ludicrous) lecture America about her immigration policies... or simply by snotty little quips about Werner von Braun and Nazis...? Or perhaps Europeans shows themselves to be contemptuous through their continued adherence to absurdist fantasist constructs about themselves, the USA, and the world. If this is the denotation you intended, then why would it come as any surprise that I condescend to you after you've shown such flagrant irresponsibility in the world? Is it any surprise such European truculence, such European bitterness, such European ingratitude and unbridled arrogance is met with condescension? You deserve that and much much more. Yet we are still willing to fight along with you against a shared enemy if you're wise enough to rise to the challenge. Whether you have the national character or will -- I have serious doubts based on your track record. Several convenient quips spring to mind: Time will tell... The truth will out... We shall see.

Your original comments, and subsequent post are just more examples of empty and ambiguous mealy mouthed Eurobabble.

I repeat: START fighting our fascist Muslim enemies. What part of this simple exhortation don't you understand?

Posted by: jsla [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 1:52 PM

European posters on here are not anti-American....they just object to the whole of Europe being treated as a single entity and being called anti-semites as well as all the other offensive crap that certain posters insist on continuing with.

It really isn't complicated....target your wrath at the dhimmi idiots where-ever they may be, but don't slag off Europe and its diverse people as a whole.

they just object to the whole of Europe being treated as a single entity

Too right. There's no such thing as a "European" anyway. "European" is something that only goes on in toilets.

Posted by: Interested [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 2:18 PM

Celsius is absolutely right. At present most European countries have dhimmi-governments, some don't. Take two opposites, closely related by heritage and history, namely Sweden and Denmark. Where Swedistan is a one-party state (albeit with 6 Social-Dhimmicracies) and resembles a soviet-style, brainwashed dictatorship where freedom of speach is unheard of, Denmark is multi-party, western-style democracy where everyone is allowed an opinion and free to publish it.

Swedistan is Europe's most PC and dhimmified country, soon to join the Caliphate. Denmark on the other hand is Europe's last standing fortress and generally condemned for 'intolerance' - intolerance of intolerance, that is.

Where Swedistan is anti-semitic, Denmark is pro-Israel. And Swedes call Danes 'racist'.

In an insane world, sanity is considered insane.

I agress with Chesler. There are several groups that are silent that we should be hearing from:

feminists, gay/lesbian groups, NAACP, even environmental groups

These groups are silent on the attack of Western values. They have more to lose than the average westerner.

Their silence shows their participation with the left. They have fallen too silent across the world.

They silent even on the local level. They seem to see no problem with what is on the horizon.

These groups seem to view only one enemy and that is conservatives. What will happen to them when they no longer have conservatives around and they no longer have a voice, and NO don't tell me the the Imans will be listening to the feminists, gay/lesbians, NAACP, or any environmental group.

the feminists might not be speaking up in the Netherlands, but they are in Saudi:

From Memri:

Al-Hujailan: Women's Difficult Situation "Reflects Part of Our Culture"

"I received a letter from a Saudi woman who complained about how her husband treated her during the first months of their marriage. She said that a husband treats his wife like a piece of furniture that he had bought with his own money, and is [thus] entitled to use as he pleases. He beats her and hurts her physically, with great brutality. He dismisses her opinions, mocks her if she expresses her opinion on any matter, and forces her [to comply with] his will without listening to her.

"As a matter of fact, it appears that this is a recurring problem in some homes - the names are different, but the suffering and the victims [are similar]. Many married women suffer from this sort of poor treatment in their married lives, and they are not even allowed to complain or grumble about this regrettable situation.

"If we examine this difficult situation [affecting] married women[...] we find that it reflects part of our culture. In considering the man's attitude towards the woman, we find that, from the moment he begins to consider her as a [potential] wife, he draws up in his mind [a list] of criteria that this woman [must meet]. These criteria are based on descriptions derived from his culture, which he has heard from relatives and from those around him[...] [They] have to do with her outward appearance, and that they include no consideration of her personality, her thinking, or her temperament[...]"

abbey-

I think you're forgetting the 1,000,000 Muslims already in The Netherlands.

And, with open borders throughout the EU, tomorrow, if they were cunning enough, 16 million Mohammedans could all move from France, Germany, Denmark, etc. and converge in Holland, as legal EU citizens already, and simply take over the government in the next election by legal, perfectly "democratic" voting.

And what could the Dutch do about it?

What any small EU nation do?

As much as I deplore all illegal immigration, I'll take ten million border-law-breaking Mexican immigrant landscapers/meat packers/housepainters/waiters over any number of Muslim infil-traitors, of any profession, anyday.

Germany's suspicion of Islam is encouraging.

The Netherlands, if it begins to send all of those Muslims in Holland back home who did what Hirsi Ali did, and lied on their applications for asylum, etc., then I'll agree with you that this is some kind of "clever plan" and not a haphazard bit of short-sighted, suicidal stupidity.

And "sacrificing" Hirsi Ali (to have to live in the hellhole of the U.S., where it will be hard to get haringen met uien and pannekoek) would have be a wise tactical gamble.

Posted by: profitsbeard [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 19, 2006 9:47 PM

"Feminist/gay/lesbian groups..." Ha, ha, ha. These people who are mainly on the far left have been silent for a long time when it comes to condemning their Islamist chums. However, despite Hirsi's magnificent work, I do have a problem with people lying to claim asylum aided and abetted by "human rights laws" which is precisely why we've ended up with so many Islamists in our midst.

I am European and jsla's post is not at all a problem for me.

I do not feel uncomfortable with this post because unfortunately it is true for many Europeans - especially the European elites, but many normal people as well.

The Europeans' "peaceloving" is nothing else than disguised antiamericanism and antisemitism. As a European who DOES NOT share this disgusting hatred

I find it sad that some very good elements of Europe are leaving to the US. It is of course not going to make things better here. Recently a good friend of mine surprised me when he said he was trying to get a green card. Of course he is a bright, very educated man.

I have often been disgusted by the anti americanism of our so called elites. I must say I have studied in the best schools of France. Yes Europe is in decay; jealousy and resentment have never been a sign of health. But again, the French who are truly educated and clever are NOT anti American.

I am also often surprised by the fact that the Americans are so patient and still seem very attached to Europe. I guess it is like young, dynamic grand children being kind and patient to their old, grumpy grand father.

The Europeans need a serious psychoanalysis. They seem to love everybody, including the worst dictators, but the Americans ! As you say, JSLA, it is grotesque. But we should see it more as the symptom of a psychological problem than as a rational, political view...

God bless America !

Feminist gay lesbian groups, let me laugh !!!!!! they are still busy attacking the Catholics for their supposed homophoebia @londongirl - surfing on their sites is enlightening: not a word about the Muslims. Didn't we have, recently, a gay man beaten up by a bunch of Muslims ? Unheard of them. I must tell you my great theory (which I am very proud of lol): the lesbians WILL CONVERT TO RADICAL ISLAM. But ok, it is not the subject and Jihad Watch is going to argue with me... Suffice to say that that theory if the fruit of my long observations about feminine gayness, woman's discomfort in the West, relationship to the body etc. They will convert to Islam and their reason will be that "Islam makes women free". They will be the first one to behead us !
(pure defamation, apologies !)

Bonjour joiesauvage, et merci beaucoup pour votre post :-)

I am German and I agree totally to all you have written and it makes me glad, to see, that all over Europe there are people like you and me, though we unfortunately seem to be a minority.

Concering your theory about the lesbians: Ms. Vollmer ( a member of the German Green Party) may not be lesbian - in fact I don't know and I don't care - but certainly she's feminist like all the green idiots are. ( green is the colour of Islam too). Have a look at her in Saudi-Arabia:

I fear, your theory may be correct.

God bless America, God bless Israel and God bless YOUR and MY Europe ( which is not Eurabia) Greetings to the "neighbourhood".

danke schön Eisvogel !

if u are interested about the concept of lesbians / feminists converting to Islam, have a look at Yvonne Ridley's site (feminist, left wing british journalist who converted to Islam after she was captured by the talibans). Interesting to read what she says about her relationship to men (and her problems with alcohol) before she converted to Islam. All her problems seem to be gone now, thanks to Islam and the new community of love she found, and she claims women are respected in Islam etc.
Many lesbians consider themselves to be an oppressed minority. Many also have a problem with men, because they cannot stand the fact that society gives power to men and tells women to "be beautiful and shut up". With Islam, those women will be able to cover their body and also to put themselves in a new "minority" against what they detest = the white Christian capitalist males, WASP and co.

I have a friend (or rather had lol) who is extremely left wing and feminist, very anti american, the usual package. She is not gay but was traumatised because her very Catholic family was macho and her brothers always had more power than she had, although she was better at school. She told me that Islam respects women more than the West does because women dont have to have beautiful bodies etc. (as if !) All those women who were somehow hurt in their pride, and who feel uncomfortable with the dictatorship of appearances in the West (media society etc), could find a new comfort in Islam, just like Yvonne Ridley. There is also a sexual fascination for domination, which is specifically feminine.

On the opposite, I think gay MEN will be in front line to fight against radical Islam as soon as they understand its direct danger for them. I know many gay men and they can't stand radical Islam and they do not seem to feel a morbid attraction to the Muslim dominant maleness.

But for the moment, I am not surprised that the gay associations and stuff dont attack Islam. They are too busy trying to destroy the heterosexual, rich WASP. How naive !

lol Eisvogel... this is what I have just read on the internet: Yvonne Ridley was married 3 times (once to a colonel in the palestinian liberation organisation) and used to get drunk every night.

In an interview about her conversion, she says:

"it is so great not to be judged according to one's leg lenght or one's breast size".
(NB: she wears the full version of the islamic veil which covers everything)

well now Yvonne you are judged for your stupidity and everybody knows you are a lunatic !
