I told this little story sometime ago, however I shall tell it again.

Sometime ago I met a bangladeshi moslem who had a very logical explanation as to why bangladesh (a country best veiwed from 45,000 FT) was so prone to flooding. The reason is the Israeli and Indians that Jews and Hindu's are chopping down all the trees to sell and cause the flooding.

The fact that banglaSh!7 hole lies beneath sea level is not important.

The mind boggles at the moronic stupidity of these people.

By the way does anyone have any links on Israeli agroscientists working in India, I have heard there are quite a few in the western desert areas.

The craziest conspiracy theories, the kind of thing that only the most lunatic believe in Infidel lands (Thierry Meyssan in France comes to mind; those who believe Lyndon Johnson killed Kennedy, the Freemasons were behind Lenin, and so on) is par for the Persian Gulf course, and points east, west and south, wherever Islam hangs its hat.

And it can also affect locals who are not Muslims but affected by the habit of mental submission and sheer lunacy that goes unopposed in daily life.

One example: a Lebanese woman, Greek Orthodox, who had lived for decades in the West, yet assured me that apiculture in Jounieh and other villages had suffered "because the Isra-el-is had deliberately sent over disease-carrying bees to destroy the bees of Lebanese farmers." And, go figure! You also figured out it's OK to use toilet paper, and that flushing doesn't make Satan happy.

For those who don't know,Muslims are afraid to let toilet paper touch their anus. It's true! I know it sounds preposterous, but this is forbidden to them by their "religious laws". It doesn't stop there. They're also "forbidden" to defecate in moving water, so the more literal minded of them won't even go in a toilet even if a perfectly good one is at hand. This means they will defecate into a waste can next to a functioning toilet rather than offend their Allah, or encourage Satan by such heinous transgressions!

Just some fun facts about Muslims.

Read about Muhammad fiddling with the 9 year old Aisha in a tub of water in the middle of her menses. Read about the way they obsess over semen stains on the "prophet's" robes after he banged her.

This is only one of the reasons I always attach descriptors such as "filth stained" and "shit stained" to Islam and their beliefs. If the world only knew what a mind numbing freak show it is, we'd outlaw them forever and assiduously bury those that refuse to abandon the poop stain of Islam. Afterwards we would gladhand each other, feel we had done yeoman's work, and retire for some beers and potato chips.

In one London secondary school where the pupils were mainly Moslems, there was a problem with the toilet seats breaking because the pupils stood on them and toilet rolls would often be contemptuously thrown into the loo, whole. Thanks, jsla. You are spot on. I actually did some of the research you suggested, and all I can say is I'm sorry I asked :-)

I suppose it's like the falafels. There was no Great Northern in the time of Mohammed (may goat shit be upon him) so therefore we won't use it on our great southerns. TP is just another product of our corrupt infidel culture.

I'm pretty certain I now know enough about Islam.

Make a point of NEVER accepting anthing from the left hand of a Muslim, even money.

Middle east Sweetmeat sellers often used to hand over their goods to western tourists with the left hand while accepting the money with their right hand. I have no idea if this is still an event but it shows even the arrogance of the average poor Muslim who thought it a big joke that the tourist had no idea. No wonder Cairo curse (diarrhoea) was so common.

There are enough bad things in Islam without exaggerating. They do not "disdain" TP, they only recommend the use of water, though the Hanafites apparently allow just TP if need be:

The idea apparently is that water alone suffices, while water + TP is better than just TP, not that TP is forbidden.

I do not enjoy bickering about these details. I am concerned about the attitude to Muslims shown by malignant, poorly researched remarks about their hygeine. To speak of Muslims that way is just as reprehensible as talking about "filthy Jews".

They are not monsters or aliens. They are your fellow human beings, like it or not, in the grip of a bad ideology. The same is true of Nazis, Stalinists, or what have you. Love them if you can. At a bare minimum, do not hate or despise them; it's wrong.

Since you seem to have doubts, let me describe this for you.

Usually, toilet paper is sufficient. There may be times when it is inefficient, and several strips are needed to clean one's butt. For such cases, using a damp toilet strip is better, but it must be followed by wiping with a dry toilet strip, or else, one's underwear would get wet. In any case, toilet paper is always better than no toilet paper - contrary to the central assertion of this Imam. Water alone is a piss-poor alternative to toilet paper.

Translate that into Arabic, and I just composed a hadith.
