Paul Sperry exposes some official dhimmitude at FrontPage:
We are at war with militant Islam, but you wouldn't know it from the Pentagon, which is busy erecting a shrine to Islam just five short years after Islamic terrorists destroyed a good chunk of its own building and killed more than 100 of its occupants. Worse, it's consulting on the project with a Wahhabi-educated cleric posing as a moderate.Last week, military brass -- along with representatives from the terror-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations -- dedicated the first Muslim prayer center for the Marines as a symbol of the military's "religious tolerance" and "respect" for the faith the enemy uses to attack us. Already, plans are in the works to build by 2009 a bigger mosque at the Marine base in Quantico so Muslim service members can have a "proper place" to worship, and one that "honors their religious heritage," officials say, not realizing that the mosque can also be used by the enemy to build a Fifth Column inside the Marines.
The idea for the center came from Navy Lt. Abuhena Mohammed Saifulislam, a young, smooth-talking Muslim chaplain, who wanted a permanent place of worship -- and "education" -- for the growing number of soldiers who are interested in -- and converting to -- Islam.Quantico has only 24 Muslims on base, so the mosque -- the first of its kind in the 230-year history of the Corps -- will also serve to introduce and draw other Marines to the faith. Large posters explaining how "Muslims love and respect Jesus" (but only as a minor prophet and not the son of God, which they view as blasphemous to Allah) line the inside of the white building. This is one way imam Saifulislam -- known on base simply as "Saif" -- bridges the faiths to reach out to Christian soldiers. Blacks are particularly susceptible to his pitch.
Apparently, whatever Saifulislam wants, he gets -- even at the terrorist prison camp at Gitmo, where he was first assigned after 9-11. There, he recommended that al-Qaida detainees be served halal meals -- including traditional dates and lamb -- prepared according to Islamic dietary law. The Gitmo menu now boasts 113 Muslim-appropriate meals for the benefit of finicky terrorist tummies.
That's not all. Thanks to Saifulislam's advice, our enemy now wakes to the sound of Muslim chaplains calling them to prayer instead of barking dogs or guards, who are now trained in Muslim sensitivity. Also thanks to Saifulislam, detainees can brush up on jihad by reading paperback Pentagon-issued copies of the Quran. They can even finger prayer beads and wear makeshift turbans and skull caps.
While at Gitmo, the Navy imam privately counseled al-Qaida prisoners in their native tongues of Urdu and Arabic. "I must give hope for them to cope," Saifulislam said. How thoughtful of him.
It turns out Saifulislam also ministered to Marine Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun, a fellow Muslim charged with desertion, just before he went AWOL again last year. Hassoun deserted his post in Iraq where he served as an Arabic translator. After he was captured, and after he met with the Quantico imam, he deserted again.
Saifulislam is clean-cut with a Colgate smile. The Pentagon gives him great latitude because he claims to be moderate.
However, Saifulislam studied Islam at a hardline Wahhabi school in Virginia that was raided by federal authorities after 9-11. And one of his mentors is Taha Jaber Al-Alwani, an unindicted co-conspirator in the Sami al-Arian terror case. Federal court records allege he gave at least $50,000 in jihad money "to support suicide bombings" in Israel.
Saifulislam, born in Bangladesh, insists he is only a Sunni Muslim and does not adhere to the faith's more orthodox and militant Wahhabi sect practiced by Osama bin Laden and his ilk. Still, his pro-jihad academic background should raise flags at the Pentagon.
Instead, it's giving him a permanent taxpayer-supported platform from which to convert grunts to Islam. With the Quantico mosque, the Pentagon is facilitating the study of the holy texts the enemy uses, heretically or not, as their manual of war. This is tantamount to the Marines setting up a Mein Kampf reading room during WWII.
The timing of the dedication ceremony is ironic by half. As the deputy secretary of defense and Marine commandant respectfully removed their shoes to enter the mosque and intoned pleasant PC platitudes about being one big happy "family" with Muslims, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced the arrest of 17 Muslim men who had allegedly plotted to explode fertilizer-based bombs at important sites in Canada. Their plans also called for attacking parliament and even beheading the prime minister. Almost half of them had attended the same mosque in Toronto.
Several military officers chose to sit out the Quantico ceremony than hear deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England mouth "salaams" to the Muslims in attendance. They think the mosque is misplaced, and don't trust its imam.
"I have great concern about this young Muslim chaplain," said Lt. Comm. Gary P. Stewart, also a Navy chaplain. "I don't trust him."
The Pentagon's over-the-top gesture is only the latest sign that political correctness is running amok inside the military. Chief chaplains for the Navy, Army and Air Force routinely meet with top leaders from the Islamic Society of North America for PC powwows, even though ISNA is a Saudi-backed group with ties to terrorists. No matter, the Pentagon distributes ISNA literature on Islam and Muslims to help increase troops' "sensitivity" toward Islam.
The first principle of war is knowing your enemy and what motivates him. The PC-addled Pentagon seems to have forgotten that rule.

If you like that, you'll love this. I was perusing the National War College websites and came upon this helpful bit of information: Islam is not the enemy.
While technically true, that's the same Qur'an which is used to create jihad fighters all over the world. Now coming to Quantico.
at June 13, 2006 6:10 AM
Now our men and women in uniform can learn such historical "facts" as:
Chemistry as a science is unquestionably the invention of the Muslims.
at June 13, 2006 6:16 AM
Robert,
You'll be happy to know that you needn't worry about jihad. It's all a big misunderstanding. You're just a non-Muslim misunderstanderer.
Thanks, National War College. Now that we've got that ironed out I feel much better.

Going for four. Strangely, chemistry has nothing to do with Islam. Not that the NATIONAL WAR COLLEGE could have Islamic propaganda on its website. That's too awful to contemplate.

I better watch what I say, but it seems like the examples of dhimmitude get worse and ever more vile and madding. I am real sure in WW2 they had Nazi's on hand in the US military to celebrate and explain Hitler's brand of Neo-Paganism.We have lost the war with Terrorism if this is the kind of stuff we do.
If this is how the military is, I want nothing to do with it and advise the same for everyone I know.
I have no interest in serving with Muslim, especially Saudi funded taquiyya masters. I am seminary student and have considered doing the chaplaincy, but there is no way in hell that I will ever, ever join the military if this is the game they play. These Saudi backed Wahabbist are the enemy case closed and if we are going to be so stupid I pray we get everything we deserve. I will never defend Islam. Islam is blight, it is to religion peace and justice what rape is maritial sex. If that is offensive I don't care anymore, censor this post. Why doesn't George Al- Saud Bush just take shaddah be done with it?Bush and the US goverment are already Muslim in many ways and have that tribal loyalty thing of always protecting and advancing the Ummah at the expense of the Infidels going on strong. Welcome to Ameristan, maybe i'll take the Shaddah and be a hypocritical nominal Muslim and go into the prayer rug business. LOL Long live Oriana Fallaci!!

Shrine to Islam??????
Insanity this - bending down to feed the snake that bites them every day. Funny that they/we never seem to learn the true nature of this cobra, Islam, we continually attempt to charm with our abject dhimmitude. When will we ever learn? In the large city in which I live, they, 'the musulman', have recently constructed a large, brazen edifice to their god that - curiously - happens to also be surrounded by a very imposing iron fence. I wonder why?!!
at June 13, 2006 8:14 AM
If I were the contractor for that mosque, there would be a multiplicity of listening devices inserted in parts of the construction which would be very difficult to remove. They would be there, if needed.

I have a relative who is enrolled at West Point Military Academy. Among his classmates are Middle Eastern princes and the sons of wealthy ME men. I know that my relative had to work very hard and jump through many hoops to be able to attend the Academy. Who decides which sons of ME royalty gets to attend? How many young Americans were denied places at the Academy to accomodate these young Muslims? Several months ago, at the height of the Danish cartoon incident, my relative's roommate, a Muslim from North Africa, was livid over the cartoons and carried on for weeks over the fact that "all Muslims were being insulted," because of the cartoons. Will my young relative someday face his roommate in battle, not as friend but as an enemy?

Maryrose,
I won't sleep in a room with a muslim. Call me biased, call me paranoid, but, this is one thing that is beyond me.
at June 13, 2006 11:18 AM
Maryrose, that is an absolute travesty.
Speaking of China, it will overtake us soon if we keep walking towards the cliff. This alone shows that already it has one huge advantage- non-religious, jingoistic, armed forces.
No doubt, if the War in Terror and the Taiwan issue boil over at the same time, we're so screwed.

arjun.sevak, you are wise:
Tabari VII:149 “I went into a cave with my bow and arrows. While I was in it, a one-eyed man from the Banu Bakr came in driving some sheep. He said, ‘Who’s there?’ I said [lied], ‘I’m a Banu Bakr.’ ‘So am I.’ Then he laid down next to me, and raised his voice in song: ‘I will not believe in the faith of the Muslims.’ I said, ‘You will soon see!’ Before long the Bedouin went to sleep and started snoring. So I killed him in the most dreadful way that anybody has ever killed. I leant over him, struck the end of my bow into his good eye, and thrust it down until it came out the back of his neck. After that I rushed out like a wild beast and took flight.”

Saifulislam, born in Bangladesh, insists he is only a Sunni Muslim and does not adhere to the faith's more orthodox and militant Wahhabi sect practiced by Osama bin Laden and his ilk.
Paul Sperry gets a 9.5, but the above sentence ruined a perfect score. Unless he can explain how Sunni Islam differs from Wahhabist Islam when it comes to waging jihad. As far as I can see, they both are based on the same Qur'an, which teaches that the infidels are to be found wherever they are and killed. The Shi'ite Iranians, who are definitely not Sunni Wahhabist, do not seem to be practicing a less orthodox or militant version of Islam. In Indonesia, Thailand, Sudan, Syria, Jordan, Afghanistan, Egypt, there are jihadists; are they all part of the small extremist Wahhabist sect? On what evidence is this assumption based?

Hey, cut the military some slack here. In the American system, our military is pledged to support the policies of the civilian leadership. They can question those leaders through channels. They can resign in protest (in which case they would simply be replaced by others). But they can't openly revolt against the Executive Branch. MacArthur was fired by Truman, remember?
This difficult moral quandary has led us into difficulties before: Against their better judgment, the military implemented SecDef McNamara's "gradual escalation" policy in Vietnam. Against their better judgment, the military implemented SecDef Rumsfeld's minimalist approach to warfighting in Iraq. And of course, the military is trying to implement the Bush Administration's theory that "Islam is a peaceful religion that has been hijacked by a minority of extremists."
After the first two fiascos, the military asked itself why it had been so compliant and why more of them didn't resign in protest. Probably after more of the truth about Islamist penetration and subversion of the West is revealed, they will ask themselves that same question a third time.
As for the attempt at a comparison with World War II: Remember, President Franklin Roosevelt did not say after Pearl Harbor that Fascism is an ideology of peace that had just been "hijacked" by a few bad apples like Hitler and Himmler.

When I was in the USMC (enlisted) Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were heavily recruiting Marines from Light Armored Recon finishing up their enlistment to help train their forces. The reason why is we were well suited for desert warfare.
The thing was, at least among the unit I was in, none of would ever take the job. First, despite the high pay, who would want to willingly go to Saudi Arabia or Kuwait.... I didn't know then what I know now about islam, but even back then it was common knowledge they didn't like Americans or Christians.
Second, and more important, despite the very high pay, we knew that the training we provided them might someday be used against our own forces in any future conflict.
I guess those officers and politicians in charge at West Point know more than a bunch of us enlisted Marines do....

The US Miltary is promoting Da'wa in the same way as the US Prison System. Even worse, it is almost exclusively Islam of the Wahhabi sect and often financed directly from Saudi Arabia.
Sadly, Black soldiers and prisoners are often the mostly likely converts. Considering the racist history of Islam as well as what is happening to Black Africans at the hands of Muslims in Darfur, South Sudan, Chad, Nigeria, Mauretania, etc. etc. this is a double travesty.
I am a volunteer counselor in a federal maximum security prison and often donate books to the prison library. I've had only one book rejected as inappropriate for prisoners. It was "Islam's Black Slaves : The Other Black Diaspora"
by Ronald Segal. I was told that it would be too controversial. This is a prison library that has a copy of Mein Kampf and writings by Elijah Muhhamed, Malcolm X, Che Guevara, and Franz Fanon.

"Saifulislam" is Arabic for "The sword of Islam".

If the Pentagon - that institution entrusted with protecting the constitution (as opposed to Shariah) - is going to Islamize, it's over. We might as well all recite the Shehada while we are at it.

What's new about Americans building hrines to Islam?
Has anyone here seen the Cresent Embrace Shrine? It's to be built in the U.S. as a memorial to the lives lost on flight 93. You can see it at this link http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05253/569055.stm
It is unbelievable that a symbol of Islam can be the winning design for an atrocity committed by Muslims. What's not unbelievable is that the main funder for this project is John Kerry's billionaire wife.
Watch in the near future for more Democrat funded shrines to Islam. The first one I can think of will be called Kosovo.

The Times reported on this last week.
"Nazim Abdul Karriem, a former US servicemen who was seated in the front row and took part in the D-Day landings in Normandy 62 years ago. Mr England asked the 87-year-old veteran to stand and take a bow, but he might have been a little more circumspect if he had spoken to Mr Karriem first. Mr Karriem converted in 1956 and later became involved in Malcolm X’s Nation of Islam.
What did he think about the Iraq war? “I see it as a war against Islam. We have had this before with the Crusades. We have occupied land which does not belong to us,” Mr Kariem told The Times. Should the Taleban have been allowed to remain in power over Afghanistan? “Well, it’s their country,” he replied...
Inside the building, large posters explaining how “Muslims love and respect Jesus”, suggest its role may also be to educate other Marines about some of the subtleties of Islam."
I think that last remark is tongue in cheek, by the way.
at June 13, 2006 4:42 PM
There are intelligent officers, keenly aware of what Islam is all about, and educating themselves furiously, and then there are the not-so-intelligent, the ones who repeat the Administration's platitudes, who accept the Party Line on Islam, who do not see beyond Iraq, or beyond Iraq and Afghanistan, or beyond the Middle East and Central Asia, to realize that Jihad is a world-wide phenomenon, that it is not primarily conducted, at this point, either through terrorism or military means, and that the clear doctrines of Islam are set out in the Qur'an (read with "abrogation" of the earlier passages that conflict with the later kept firmly in mind) and the Hadith, and in the life of Muhammad, or Sira.
There is a war on in the American military -- between the intelligent and the not-so-intelligent, between those who understand the origins, scope, and full menace of Islam, and those who persist in denying it, or refuse to see it, or simply cannot allow themselves to see it, because the implications are for them too disturbing. And there is a war between those who realize how important it is to weaken, divide, demoralize the camp of Islam, and those who think that if only we make them prosperous, if only we make them temporarily happy, if only we (very temporarily) win (feigned) hearts and minds, we can somehow avoid what is set out in the texts of Islam.
One hopes that those who see things correctly in the Armed Services will win out, will defeat those who, among their fellows, are the fools. They must.

They are winning Hugh, just slowly. I routinely forward articles written by you and Robert to my still active buddies. They in turn send them around. Several times I have been asked for more information and asked where I get them from (I refer them right to JW/DW). Many active military are lurkers, the PC types would frown on active soldiers expressing their opinions, although blogging is now allowed (but they have to follow regulations mostly too protect sensitive information and not too control content). I’m sure I am not the only one spreading the wealth of information found here. Although this is the only site I have time to comment on, I read several others and I have occasionally sent articles I found else where to JW/DW but none have made the cut, I’ll try harder to find better sources.
Bottom line: you guys are doing great work, keep it up and we will keep helping you spread the truth.

If this story makes your blood boil -- I've written here before that the Congress has approved large sums in the millions (I seem to remember a some like $38,000,000 but I can't be sure) for mosque re-building in Iraq and Afghanistan. So the US taxpayer is footing the bill to restore the same nazi indoctrination centers in both theater after flattening them for being centerpoints of the Jihad.
If this gets you sufficiently pissed off -- Write cordial letters to your Congressman and Senators. They will respond to courteous communication, and eventually the message will get through. They will know we'r watching how this money gets spent.

The battle against non-Muslims (known as infidels) and Muslims has always remained. From American perspective it is assumed that the clash between Islam (and Muslims) and the infidels started after 9/11, but this needs to be corrected. History is evident that Islam has clashed with many empires of the past, especially when Islam was new and during incubation period. Take for example the mighty clash between Muslims and the Persian Empire.
The Persian Empire was unique in many ways. It was the first truly great empire of history, stretching, in the time of the early Achaemenians, from Northern Greece in the west to the Punjab in the east. It was unique also in the length of time over which it flourished-from the Sixth Century BC to the Seventh Century AD, except for a gap caused by the Greek conquest. No other empire in history had lasted so long in all its greatness as a force of culture and civilisation and as a military power. It had known reverses, but after each reverse it had risen again in its characteristic glory and brilliance.
The Persian Empire was trampled on by Khalid bin Al Waleed (the only general in the history of military warfare who never lost a battle or died in a battle) and his army of just 18,000 men. In early June 634 Khalid marched from Hira with an army of 9,000 men to Syria to take on the next mighty Empire the Romans in Syria. The Romans were like America and its allies today but they too met their fate similar to the Persian Empire.
At this point, you (raw pink pork) probably are thinking what a bluff is poring from this bloke, well why don’t you do your own research into Khalid bin Al Waleed and his clashes with the infidels.
His history will surly make you crap exactly where you are sat reading this post. I would also like to add another point to this which surly will make you ponder who have you really clashed with, the army of Khalid bin Al Waleed (the following generation) exist today, they learn the same Islamic art and warfare but in the modern age, they breed the same strategic values and skills today too, and they surly posses the same confidence and ability. This is through the Qur’an and Sunnah.
I am one of your own, never lived or originated from a Muslim country or society. I am a Muslim and proud to have accepted such a brilliant religion God has ever sent to mankind. I and millions like me live amongst you and work in the same professional environments as you do. The reality is that we are on constant mission which no doubt you all will be well aware of to bring Islam to all parts of the world.
Let me remind you that you have surely clashed with a civilization which you could never imagine. The same civilization which has made minced meat out of empires 3 times as big as yours. Where ever you look Islam is present in almost every corner of this planet, country and city. It multiplies on a daily basis. It has taken over your minds, your discussions and your interests. It started to change infidel societies and has got policy makers to rethink their policies.
When you entered Iraq you just confirmed another Islamic prophecy which predicts Iraq, Iran and Syria will be invaded before the real clash between Muslims and infidels will take place. So keep these three nations in mind and monitor the invasion of Iran and Syria, once this has happened then be aware of the Army of Islam marching like the general Khalid bin Al Waleed and his army marched to victory and success.
You are probably thinking who is this bloke well I will tell you who I and we are:
We are the noble warriors;
We are the Sword(s) of Allah
Army of Khalid bin Al Waleed!
I look forward in receiving some email at the following email address adamkhan_uk@hotmail.com.
Just to some up in few words:
This world is for the infidels and the next for the Muslims (and Islam), we (Muslims) are restoring order and have nothing to loose in this world. We came from Allah (swt) and surely we will return to him.
