"...even one case of apostasy is serious. Why wait for 100,000? It is as if the issue is not serious among Muslims." Oh, horror of horrors! Islamic Tolerance Alert: "Perak Mufti Takes Jakim To Task Over Apostate Issue," from Bernama:
IPOH, July 10 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) has been asked to be pro-active in investigating the apostate issue in view of its serious nature.Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria Monday said Jakim should have started investigations without waiting for reports from other quarters.
"They (Jakim) are not serious in tackling this issue... even one case of apostasy is serious. Why wait for 100,000? It is as if the issue is not serious among Muslims," he told reporters at his office, here.
"I am prepared to provide a report but please come to see me," he said when asked to comment on the statement by Jakim director-general Datuk Mustafa Abdul Rahman asking those who had conducted a study and found that 100,000 Muslims had become apostates to submit a report to the department.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Dr Abdullah Md Zin, Sunday had also asked Harussani to substantiate his claim that 100,000 Muslims had become apostates.
Harussani also expressed his disappointment over Jakim's announcement that five serious issues involving Muslims, among them secularism, liberalism and hedonism, which had earlier been brought up at the Rulers Conference, no longer needed to be discussed.

Jakim director-general Datuk Mustafa Abdul Rahman
Wait a minute. He's got the same name as that famous apostate from Afghanistan?
Now, THAT's FUNNY.
Oh, wait a minute. All those muslims have the same names. There must be 10 million abdul Rahmans.
Still funny.

Muslims who leave Islam need a safe country to flee to.
Maybe the U.N. should create a specific refuge for them.
Called the Asylum Provisional Onstead, -or A.P.O. State for short.

Any civilised human being(which by definition excludes most muslims) would have asked: "what are we doing that is so wrong?"
But not these scum, who are so arrogant that they think that someone must be in league with the devil to leave islam.
It makes me really hope that there is a hell just so most muslims can burn in it.

oh boy, im not supprised they will come to this decision.
There are actually over 100,000 apostates in malaysia & they all hide from admitting that due to fear etc.
Yes, Malaysia allows religious freedom only & only if you are not muslim.
Its very easy to convert to muslim but converting out cant be done because its against the islamic law. So, the legistlators refuse to ammend the law & the civil law depends on the outcome of the shahria court.
Fyi, this is the same people that start changing road names quietly of non-muslim heroes (WW2 & terror times) to some islamic names. This itself proves that they have a lack of intelligence & tollerence.

When will the United States have a president with the vision to speak out for religious freedom? Protecting apostates in the Muslim nations is more dangerous than a hundred divisions of marines, to Islam's tyrrany. It is instructive that Islamic authorities are everywhere afraid of apostasy. It seems to me that deep down, they are aware of their illegitimacy, and know that people prefer liberty to submission.
On another subject, I propose that we stop calling Islam simply "Islam". Islam means "Submission" in Arabic, and this is the key to understanding the regressive and tyrranical character of it. We should be using the term "Submission" as frequently as possible, in fact they should be used interchangably, and the translation should be offered as frequently as possible. A lot of ideas that first came out in the anti-Jihad community are percolating into public consciousness. This is a very good one to highlight.

This is because if they dont phobid muslims to convert out, they will loose muslims in great numbers, the same way they did after mohammad died.
I wonr besupprised that the law on apostates -> death was crafted after mohammad died.
In fact Mohammad did say many times that those muslims that dont believe either in allah or him as the last prophet could leave islam. A prominent one was after a war where an agreement was sought after.
When the muslim numbers go down, so will the zakat (muslim tax) & this will bring the muslim economy & goverment down as well.
Its not about religion anymore, its about politics, where religion is brainwashing rule.

Just in from the Al-Manure news wire:
Billy Graham issues fatwa against reverts to Islam! Muhammed (Cassius Clay) Ali first on hit list!
at July 11, 2006 9:59 AM
Yeah that double traitor, Ali, should be the first on the list. The second should Lew Alcindor, AKA by by his terrorist name Karem Adbul Jabbar.

We already have Presidents here in the US who talk about religious freedom, what is needed is one who will dare say what needs to be said: Islam is the problem. I agree that Western nations need to encourage and protect Muslim apostates, but until Islam is identified by Western leaders as the threat it is, it all becomes just useless, generic blather. Repeating the same silly platitudes about religios freedom seems pointless, been there, done that. It's ISLAM'S intolerance of any other religion that needs to be in the spotlight.
And there's the Catch-22. Can you imagine the firestorm from the PC mainstream media and their acomplices if a politician here in the US grew a pair and called Islam what it is? Especially if the politician is a Republican? It would make a shark feeding frenzy look tame by comparison.

Has Jihad Watch thought of creating a political party in the U.S. that would run solely on the anti-Jihad platform? Since none of our Democratic or Republican politicians are dealing with the threat of Jihad, this may be the only way to put the issue into the spotlight. If anyone creates such a party they have my vote.

If
1/Muslims were free to cast off their religion without fear of consequence
and
2/Muslim women could marry any man who caught their fancy, whatever his religion, again without fear of consequence.
it would be interesting to see how many voted on this cult with their feet, particularly in the mixed, open societies of the west. In fact it's disgraceful that they seem still to enforce - informally but apparently with steely effectiveness - their shariah law on this behaviour, even in free societies.

I think the Nazi party were more tolerant of people leaving if they just kept a low profile afterwards.
