A once-reliable dhimmi seems to have turned on them, and Blackburn Muslims are enraged. From the Daily Express:
AN unholy alliance of Muslims and far-Right extremists was last night threatening Jack Straw’s future as an MP as he was accused of playing the race card in a bid to salvage his career.Protesters took to the streets of Mr Straw’s Blackburn constituency yesterday to vent their fury over his call for Muslim women to stop wearing veils.
One Muslim community leader, who helped him to get re-elected with a reduced majority of 8,009 last year, described the remarks by the Leader of the Commons as "like a family member going against us".
One in four voters in Blackburn, where Mr Straw has been MP since 1979, is a Muslim. It is believed many turned against him and the Government because of the Iraq war....
Salim Mulla, secretary of the Lancashire Council of Mosques, has called for a meeting with Mr Straw this week to force him to explain why he feels that Muslim women should lift their veils when they attend his constituency surgeries.
Mr Mulla, a Blackburn councillor, said: "I have spoken to Jack and told him he should not have said what he said. We are going to have a meeting some time next week to discuss it further."
Ibrahim Master, a member of the Labour Party who played a key role in 60-year-old Mr Straw’s last election victory, said: "We feel it is very difficult to take because it comes from a man who knows a great deal about the Muslim community. It’s like a family member going against us.
"This is a very sensitive issue and he has said it publicly without any form of consultation. The Muslim community feels angry and let down."
Mr Straw was believed to be in Washington last night, but faces hostile protests when he returns to Britain this week. Muslim campaigners have vowed to stage protests at every constituency meeting he holds until he issues a public apology.
About 100 demonstrators, including Muslim women in veils, gathered outside Blackburn town hall yesterday to voice their anger over the row which has made headlines round the world....
Protest organiser Yaasmin Mubarak, 38, said: "Jack Straw is really in trouble here. We want him to apologise and will keep on protesting until he does. I feel outraged and want him out of his job. The majority of Muslim women want him out."
Aisha Rehman, 18, attended yesterday’s demo wearing a black niqab veil which covered her whole face except her eyes.
"Jack Straw should resign," she said. "He’s supposed to be an MP for the whole town, but he’s discriminating against Muslim women. I thought he was a decent man but he’s not."...

Boo Hoo, you have offended us. You need to appologize to us for doing so. If you don't we will protest, burn, pillage, and destroy things until you do. Doesn't he know any better? It is time to tell muslims to just shut up. They need to assimilate or leave, even the ones that convert. Oh, now it is revert.

More of this to come in the next 5 years. Anyone who speaks out against Islam, gets protested. However, when Muslims kill innocent people through terrorism or various other forms of violence, they don't protest! Pray for the Christians in Europe and the USA, to rebuild and stand up for our Christian Identity and not get bullied by these Muslims.........

Oh, my, God. What a crock of sh*t! That is one of the more revolting articles I've read for a while. I cannot believe how entitled people can be, especially these people; foreign immigrants from a rotting tar pit in the middle of the desert, who came to Britian for a better life. If you don't like it, move back, now!!! Yah, first of all he said it was optional and that they could still choose to wear the veil. Second of all these are the same constituency of whom 71% or whatever said they agreed with the 7/7 bombings (sorry I don't know the exact stat) and they're complaining about this! I am disgusted and utterly appalled that Western society has allowed this sorry, entitled cult of brown trash into our midst just so we can make every concession possible for them. I'm sorry I'm seeing red; this article put me over the top for the day, and I can't quite seem to articulate...ahhh!

At the end of the day, when push comes to shove, this reveals the far Right for what they really are. Like the far Left, they hate our civilization and what it stands for. What the 20th century tells us is that Communists, Nazis and Muslims have each murdered millions of Jews during the course of that century - and would do the same again in the 21st if they got the chance.

The fact that the BNP are going to contest the same seat as Jack Straw doesnt mean they are about to join forces with Muslims

In fairness to the BNP, what the Express article says is:
"The far-Right British National Party is hoping to cash in on the mounting anger. It is drawing up a battle plan to split Mr Straw’s support at the next election. Spokesman Dr Phil Edwards accused the MP of playing a 'subtle' race card in a bid to boost his appeal with white working class voters. 'We have been saying this about Muslim dress for some time,' he said. 'It’s all part of the problems of a multi-cultural Britain that he and the Labour Party helped to create.'"
In other words the BNP merely seems to be claiming that Straw is cynically positioning himself to win support with subtly BNP-like policies, after having helped to create the problems those policies are supposed to address. This does not appear to be a shift back to a pro-Muslim position on the part of the BNP.

There is little evidence for this.
The soldiers of Allah did not invade Europe 'for a better life'- they came to make Europe Islamic.
What England, France, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and others are facing here is a full scale invasion by Islamic rabble that will do just about anything to pervert their respective host country to Islam. Every brood-sow in hijab, burkha or niquab is in on it, just like their brood itself, who spits on western women in the street calling them 'whores'...
"Discrimination/racism" and all these (for Europeans) hard-hitting words are often & well used, but meaningless for these hypocrites. Europe has to assert itself and take strong position against the Mohammedan belligerence and subversion.
Straw, one of the worst masters of appeasement, this timid beaurocrat, surprised everyone with his comment. The worst he could do now is apologize. I think he will. He doesn't have any backbone and he is unlikely to hold up under pressure.
The pressure is on. Mohammedanism confronts and shouts down those who have courted it, have allowed it to fester and believed they could use it to further their careers, like Straw.

our western culture makes us kind of freak out at people in masks. you know the mask wearers, like some of your mujahideen, the klan, and jason voorhees.
we do rely on facial cues in our communication. so please show some cultural sensitivity and don't expect to fully interact with a westerner while you are wearing a mask.

A MALE suspect in a major anti-terrorist investigation in Britain escaped capture by allegedly disguising himself as a Muslim woman dressed in a burka, The Times can reveal.
The man, who was wanted in connection with serious terrorist offences, evaded arrest for several days as police searched for him across the country.
The fact that a fugitive remained at large after disguising himself in an Islamic dress which covered his face will further fuel the debate sparked by Jack Straw, Leader of the House of Commons, about the wearing of the veil.
Details of the man’s true identity were circulated to ports and airports to try to prevent him leaving the country.
He was eventually caught and is now one of more than 90 suspects in British prisons awaiting trial on terror charges.
The suspect’s name and the detail of the offences he is accused of cannot be revealed because of the danger of prejudicing his forthcoming trial.
It is the first time that a male suspect has allegedly disguised himself as a Muslim woman in Britain. However, the tactic has been used frequently by Islamist fighters — including suicide bombers — in Iraq and Afghanistan. - but what about the reaction from the community:

But questions of security have tended to be overruled by the need to maintain good community relations.
Shahid Malik, Labour MP for Dewsbury, expressed concern that the issue could create unnecessary tension. “If this is true, then it is the first case of its kind in Britain and an isolated incident. We must not get hysterical about it. There have been many hundreds of cases where robberies have been committed by men wearing women’s stockings on their heads — but no one is talking about banning stockings"
- of course then, comes this:
"Anila Baig, a columnist on The Sun newspaper, reported that at Leeds-Bradford airport no member of security had asked her to remove her niqab to check her identity against her passport picture"
Niceto know, that anybody can travel Ms. Baig's passport, as long as they'ready to don a veil.

Years ago, during the 1930's, the KKK was pretty big in Texas politics.
There would be demonstrations and marches and the like. All the participants wore masks.
So the State passed a law banning the wearing of a mask (read veil) at any time, for any purpose.
Sure, they could march up and down in their white robes, just like before. But they couldn't do so in a mask. Not legal, anymore, you see.
That was the beginning of the end of Klan membership and influence in politics. It dwindled down to almost nothing.
Don't know if the law is still on the books in Texas. An old-time cop told me about it.
I think that old law would work just fine in the UK.

The veil for women is the spearhead of Muslim militancy.
It is the most powerful argument they have to become forceful. And the Muslims know it. They exploit this issue despite it not even being a tradition in the lands of origin of many Muslims immigrants.
I am not surprised that girls are exploited to serve the interests of Muslim politicians. Where Women are at the forefront in Islam it is never to their advantage.

Two can play.
Jack should:
Place a 'piggy bank', labeled 'Retirement Fund' behind his desk, in full view of any and all visitors.
Offer his morning guests a 'danish'.
Hang a picture of his favorite dog in his office.
Pin a small cross on one lapel of each of his suits.
Place a bible on his desk.
Place some candles, a small portrait of Jesus, and some Christian literature on a brochure stand in his office.
Pipe Gregorian chants into his office's waiting room.
If there are any pirates in his ancestry, wear a rag on his head and a patch on one eye when he 'entertains' his constituents, or, if he has any Scandinavian blood in him, a Viking helmet might be in order. In so doing, when he asks a Muslim woman to remove her veil, and she asks him to remove 'a piece of his clothing', he can.
And he'll be the winner all the way around.

This is a bit of an exaggeration. A picture of the inside of a rural hut in bangladesh wouldn't look out of place in a textbook on the European iron age.

What amuses me is the sudden outrage of the Muslim men, who treat women with violence, disgust and contempt in every circumstance but this. It's yet more proof that muslimahs are cattle, and should be treated as such. If you voluntarily adopt and aggressively advertise the view that you are a lesser human being, than you should not be surprised when people treat you as one.

Funny, here in Indonesia, the majority of Muslim women don't want to wear a veil and if you see one it belongs to a woman married to a man of Arab decent. Only recently has the wearing of a jilbab increased in certain areas (West Java, West Sumatera and South Sulawesi)probably in proportion to the increase in fundamentalism here. Even in Aceh before the tsunami, I noticed there were Muslim women who didn't cover their heads. Now they get whipped or caned if they don't.
The only apology Straw owes is, is to the non-Muslim constituency for not standing up against this sooner.
