Clash of Civilizations Alert: "Halal sheep slaughter in Borås pizzeria," from The Local, with thanks to Fjordman:
A pizzeria in the western town of Borås was today forced to close after a sheep was slaughtered on the premises at the weekend.Police raided the pizzeria on Saturday after receiving an anonymous tip that an animal was to be killed.
When police officers arrived at the scene the sheep had just been slaughtered in accordance with halal methods.
Slaughter of animals without the use of an anaesthetic is illegal. Although no arrests were made at the restaurant one man was handed over to border police.
Those involved are now suspected of cruelty to animals and breaching food safety regulations.
Food safety inspector Zygmund Cielsak told Radio Sjuhärad that it is not permissible to bring live animals onto premises where food is prepared. He also added that a pizzeria is clearly not an appropriate location for slaughter.
The pizzeria must now be decontaminated before food can be served there again.
The slaughtered sheep has been transported to a police freezer.

Don't frequent any Muslim-owned businesses. Why take a chance? A chance about things much bigger than the slaughter of a sheep on the premises, gruesome and unappetizing as that is. And if the rules of hygiene followed by the owners and staff are those set out in the Muslim guides to what is Halal and what is Haram, one should be most reluctant to get near such places.

Hugh, the problem is, no Swede in all of Sweden knows how to make a decent Pizza. Even Swedes acknowledge this. What I don't understand is where all the Italians are? Not that we have a lot Italians in Sweden, but if they'd launch Pizzerias in Sweden, I'm sure they'd do well.

Oh for god's sake. Send a hundred young Swedes down to the Universita per stranieri in Perugia to take a summer crash course in Italian. Then give them a fall crash course in making pizza dough, and how thin to make it (much thinner than in most American pizzerias) and how to spread over the dough the cheese (and what kinds are possible) and tomato sauce and everything else on it, and what kind of oven, and what temperature, and when to check, and how to test to see if it is done. Mot difficult. Are we to believe that no Swedes in all of Sweden can do this, but thousands of Muslims can?

Good point. After all, Swedes are equal to Italians according to some IQ tests, so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.
But it's also a class issue. A Pizza job is considered a typical immigrant job around here.

DIY. Do it yourself. Pizza dough is a simple thing to make. It is also one of the least expensive meals to make. If you have a bread machine (to mix the dough), it is almost embarassingly easy. There are recipes all over the web. Do you like Chicago thick crust, drenched with mozarella? Or is New York's crispy thin crust more your style? Or the Californian version with simple fresh ingredients? I can send you the recipes if you'd like. Never has resisting the jihad been more pleasant.
Is Boras anywhere near Skelleftea? I've a friend there, and am hoping that they haven't moved that far north yet.

The real contamination happened when the crazies showed up inside the place. Killing that poor sheep afterwards was mere icing on the cake.
These crazy "festivals" are getting tiresome-eveytime the Islamaniacs have one it brings the "Three B's" in its wake-bloodshed, burnings and beatings of one kind or another. I'd rather see a ban on these "festivals" even ahead of a ban on wearing those death shrouds.
By the way, what's the next Muslim funfest coming up and when? How much carnage will result from it?

Actually, my godparents' daughter (an Australian of Italian origin) lives in Stockholm and is married to a Swede (a married couple with 2 kids born in wedlock, a rarity in your country I believe) . Don't know if she makes her own pizzas. As for non Italians making pizzas, a cousin once told me that in the Aus capital Canberra, the pizzerias a owned by Chinese !
Are the walls of Dhimmitude falling in Sweden with the new conservative government ? Will you be more like your Danish cousins ? Hope so, Sweden is at great threat from the quranimals.

Hey Concern Canadian,
During the cartoon intifada/jihad, a muslim owned store in Toronto put up signs saying 'we have no Danish products' and it backfired because non-muslims boycotted the store and the owners had to take down the sign.

Well, it's approximately like the distance between New York and Miami:
The northern parts of Sweden don't have many immigrants, let alone muslims. It's just the southern parts.
Also, I'm of the opinion that Borås is a complete shithole. Seriously. This has to be, bar none, the most boring city in Sweden. It rains EVERYDAY, it's always cloudy, everyone hates everybody, and you can walk through downtown in 2 hours.
On the plus side, Borås has beautiful chicks (like most of Sweden).

Most Italians around here are rich and prosperous. They don't live in the suburbs or ghettos. Hence, no Italian Pizzerias. Well there are a few I guess, but it's not common. If all Pizzerias were Italian in Sweden, we wouldn't have this halal-butchering.
As far as the dhimmitude goes around here, if you think America has gone too far, you haven't seen anything yet.

There is a lot to be said for this homely old Eid custom. The slitting of the throats of large mammals gives a Muslim the expertise for taking out such opposition as an airline stewardess, for example, quickly and efficiently, with a box cutter, if jihadic necessity calls for it. Also, cutting the head off the animal ( traditionally a gift to the poor) is a good introduction to the theory of decapitation for which you may be thankful if you find yourself having to do it live, so to speak, for a home made video.
This kind of crap ought to be banned in the west, just like the veil. It's just training for murder.

The reason why muslim-owned pizza places do well in the Nordic countries is that they probably cheat on taxes. This is why they can be able to sell pizza cheaper than their law-abiding competitors.
There are all kinds of stories told about the level of hygiene in these places as well as the source of the raw materials. There are rumors that they tend to buy meat and cheese very close to their expiry date. In addition, there have been stories that large quantities of cheese have been stolen from supermarkets (Cheese is the most expensive ingredient in a pizza).

Many countries in Europe are making it such that halal slaughter is illegal, the problem is that this is also making kosher slaughter illegal. For this reason and others (including the attacks by musilims and legal problems with Brit Millah) many Jews are choosing to leave Europe for good.

The USA should set up a Euro Jew Exchange whereby we'll take in one European Jew in exchange for EUrabia taking 25 Moslems back.

If this method of slaughter is illegal in Sweeden the people involved should be prosecuted. Why an animal cannot be stunned prior to having it's neck cut is beyond me. Halal and Kosher slaughter methods are cruel and inefficient, but we tolerate them here in the UK so as not to upset anyone, even though the vast majority of people are strongly opposed.
If you are going to dispatch an animal there is no excuse not to carry it out in a humane manner.

Jews aren't leaving Europe in droves because they can't carry out Kosher slaughter. This is bulls*it Kosher meat is readily available.

kosher meat is easy to get in London and Paris and other major cities in England and France, but in norway and sweeden, much harder.
However that really is a side issue, Europe has become a very unfriendly place to be Jewish. In Paris the rabbis have ruled that it is forbidden to wear a kippah or other jewish symbols in public because there have been so many cases of people being harrassed or betten up etc. Most of of the Jews in Europe have just had enough with the place and are leaving for Israel or north america.
Of course as an Israeli I think jews comming here is a good thing.

They don't have the same sanitary standards and use hands to wipe themselves on occassions. Since I can't distinguish a 'hand-wiper' from a modern person anymore than I can a moderate from a true believer... I'm not going to take the chance.

Here in Ontario Pork is already forbidden in all Jails by the Corrections Ministry, the reason...you know why.
First the dhimmis start with those for whom nobody cares about their rights (prisoners). But eventually no more Canadian back bacon in supermarkets eh? Sadly, it seems that is what it will take to wake up us Canucks.
