Courtroom Jihad meets UK dhimmitude and cultural weariness. Guess who wins? "Muslim father gets legal aid to fight school over veil ban," by Neil Sears in the Daily Mail, with thanks to Kasper:
A school may be forced to allow a 12-year-old Muslim to wear a full-face veil because its local council is refusing to fund a court battle against the child's fundamentalist father.The school told the girl it was not acceptable for her to wear the niqab – which covers all of her face except her eyes – because teachers believe it will make communication and learning difficult.

But the child's Pakistan-born father is seeking a judicial review of the decision in the High Court in London.
He argues that the ban amounts to an infringement of his daughter's human rights and is understood to be receiving legal aid for his case....
The British government could ask for reciprocal recognition of the human rights of non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries. But it won't, of course.
Its governors are meeting tonight and may vote for a climbdown because of the council's refusal to support them, fearing costs for contesting the action could climb to £500,000.Last year the Law Lords ruled that a Luton school was justified in barring Muslim schoolgirl Shabina Begum from wearing a jilbab, a long loose gown, to classes – but it took a long and expensive legal fight.
Even though court costs are currently low, neighbouring Buckinghamshire County Council fears the bill could rocket if its case drags on.
Many of the school’s 1,000-plus pupils are Muslim girls, and they are allowed to wear headscarves.
The girl is the only pupil demanding the right to wear the full-face veil. Her three elder sisters, who attended in the past, were allowed to wear the niqab when a different head was in charge.
A source at the Conservative-led council said: "With 250 other schools in the area and severe cuts to the social care budget, it would be inappropriate to spend taxpayers' money on this.
"The council backs the right of the head to enforce her uniform policy, but is not commenting about its stand on the veil."
The girl is understood to have come to school with her face covered in September and the head and governors tried to reach a compromise with her parents to no avail.
She has not been excluded, but has been out of school since early October.
A source close to the school said: "The school feels it would be inappropriate to allow the veil because it could bring difficulties interacting with the girl, especially in lessons like drama.
"The teachers are also concerned they would not be able to see whether or not she has understood something if they cannot see her face."
Yes, drama might be tough. Of course, they could always put on The Great Train Robbery.

OT: It was surreal last night watching the special put on by CNN looking into breeding Moslem activists in prisons, this piece with a focus on Folsom Prison.
Anderson Cooper, he of the big blue eyes, pouty lips, empty brain pan, and new multimillion contract, explained that the bad was all the conversions gone wrong in the Big House. Instead of converting into traditional Moslems, many jailhouse converts were falling under the influence of charismatic Moslem firebrands who would lead them astray. A lot of the time was spent interviewing an Imam who leads prayer services in Folsom. He was upset because the overcrowded conditions there pushed these kids in the wrong direction.
Cut to film of Moslems on their knee rugs chanting the prayers. Never occured to Coop to look into the content of those prayers, or that of the Koran and Sunnah, all of which is founded and operated on violence and the desire for more violence to the point of world subjugation.
No, Coops voice over explained, these prayerful jailhouse Moslems were praying for peace. That's why their religion is named Surrernder, I guess.

Maybe one day these wacko news reporters commenting on the hardships of prisoners might take a moment to inquire just why the men are in prison.. mmmmm let's see...assault, burglery,arson,rape,murder,extortion,...yep ,,, all the makings of a good Muslim...
And let's face the facts, the mental capacity of most of the prisoners is..well easily susceptible to the way of the Muslim...why you can assault, pillage, rape and murder and it is OK...coool...
And for the most part, Muslim converts in prison tend to be black...which is odd in a way....If the black prisoners ever took the time to research just how blacks are treated by Islam in the past and in the present....
But it is the mentality thing...Islam appeals to the weak minded, to the ones who are followers, not leaders, the ones who have a mentality for violence anyway,,Islam appeals to losers, not the independent free thinkers or those unwilling to submit.Prisoners by the very acts that caused them to be where they are, have already demonstrated a distaste for law, a disregard for the rights of others, a respect for the freedoms paid for by the blood of many valiant men and women,yes indeed, distaste for civil law,a disregard for the rights of others and a lack of respect for others....all hallmarks of a good Muslim...
Muslims teach their young from day one on how to be a good Muslim....maybe we should do a better job at teaching the youth of America on how to be a better American...

Go back to the ummah, where a kid can get all the "religious" education in the right environment. The West doesn't need this crap nor should it fund anyone's crusade (pardon the ironic word choice) to obtain such foolishness.

Anyway, why should I worry this is the way Europe will end up, if you believe Mark Steyn.There are few Brits willing to speak out.Mainly because the authorities will beat them down with their Racism club. Ironic, because Islam is not a race.

They are wrong on this point.
I believe its called black-light theater, objects and props controlled by actors dressed in black thus gain the ability to move by themselves in front of our eyes.

The response in this case is the same as in that of the Grand Rapids busses: a mask for one means masks for all. Let all the other students show up in whatever style of mask they wish; Zorro-style, stagecoach stickupman style bandannas, IRA balaclavas, KKK hoods, Halloween masks, etc. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

So he wants his daughter to be able to cover herself from the "infidels" but is happy to take the education our "infidel" culture provides? OH and the cash to fight his case. If they are so "fundamentalist" this girl should not be being educated, according to Imams at a "moderate" Birmingham mosque stated recently, "women are deficient". I believe the taliban recently murdered a teacher for daring to educate girls?
And what does this man add to this country, where is the respect for the country that provides him the money to attack our morals?
People in the UK are getting fed up with these people taking from us and giving nothing back, constantly slagging us off as immoral or racist or islamophobic. If we were to go the land of their origins and act the same way what do you think would happen to us?
People in the UK are beginning (finally) to wake up to this. And yet WE don't march down the streets calling for murder; funny that.

Yes, I agree with you all - there's no doubt about what you all say.
But also, I do get the idea "they're (you know who) are doing it for the cash settlement in court.
All "they" have to do is whine and browbeat - and the "westerner fool" will back down.
It's obsvious the 'Gov" doesn't give a hoot about WE THE PEOPLE - but are working hand in hand with the Saudis, and the Russ (Putin) and the rest.

Here's the problem for the West in a nutshell:
Give Muslims rights to practice their religion in your dominion, and you enable a mortal enemy to set about destroying you.
It's just that simple.
While we often hear insane nonsense from leftists and self-loathing Westerners accusing the West of aiding and causing Islamic terrorism -- in this regard they are correct -- giving Muslims free speech rights, giving them welfare, giving them 'legal aid' to fight our system -- all of it amounts to aiding and abetting our Muslim foe to crush those very systems of aid, rights, laws, and culture.
Islam must be identified for the doctrine of war which it is. It should be referred to as "War Doctrine".

This is my daughter's school, and a key point that is being ignored by the media is that this is an ALL GIRLS school. Buckinghamshire is one of the few counties left with selective education and most of the grammar schools are single sex. I am absolutely certain that this girl's father is just a trouble maker.
We had a letter from the head mistress tonight to advise us of the issue. The school is very saddened by the whole thing, and quoting from the letter they say "... Wycombe High School has always welcomed girls of every faith, from every cultural background. We are proud of our ethos of inclusion and diversity ... This is a school where girls have flourished for over 100 years, learning to become equal citizens in a world which has often made it difficult for women to succeed".
Oh! Of course! That ethos (equal citizens) is a complete antithesis of Islam.

The local papers, the Buckingham Free press have had about 150 comments to the Article they wrote about the incident, and most of them were vitriolic, I used the past tense they have pulled the lot. By the way there have been riots in Rochdale in the north of England one man is in a serious condition in hospital. Rochdale by the way has, dare I use the word, a large Asian population.

When Mrs Tony Blair defended Shabina Begum for refusing to wear her school uniform it cost millions. Of course the BBC had her on the morning couch like a little lamb lost being fawned over by a pair of party line automatons. But thankfully the judge had sense.
Then we had Ms Azmi refusing to teach her class unless she was veiled. Unfortunately this time we only scored a partial victory. But she isn’t working there anymore. Again I watched and heard this woman defend her case on the BBC. But thankfully this BBC automaton had been programmed to kill. It was late at night, maybe the great and the good at the BBC thought everybody was in bed. The result was some women of indeterminate age making muffled aagh and ook sounds in response to his questions.
Now we have another little Muslim girl making the news. Same old story, same old crap.
Shabina had worn her uniform for two years before her family decided to get political. Ms Azmi attended her interview uncovered. I wonder what this little girls story is?

Much of the british public is paying more attention to a Celebrity Big brother session on TV and seeing what a wise and emotionally balanced man Islam has made of Jermaine Jackson. Mouthing the odd platitudinous piety and occasionally shown praying he makes it plain that, whatever religious beliefs the other housemates may have, he's the one with the nearest thing to a direct line to the almighty. He married a Pakistani woman 2 years ago but revealed on the programme that he hasn't learned a word of her language - he also seems to be in constant touch with Michael. It would be interesting to know if his oddball brother has many young male servants from the subcontinent in his Dubai home.

This example is a tell-tale sign that her father is not only selfish,but uncomfortable with his own sexuality,as we know some muslim men are.It's a wonder why they immigrate to Western societies.He's not doing this for her as much as he is doing this for him. When I was her age,I didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb,I wanted to be like my peers.

The call to prayer echoes through Muslim cities, and suppresses mental freedom. Islamic myth supersedes individual liberty. Islamic supremacists target rationalists, secularists, and other free men. The Islamic dogma is also a heavy influence in the institutions of education.

You probably wont get anything on this as reporting riots is illegal if it will cause racial tension.
A BNP candidate in Scotland ended up in court after the last general election for putting out a leaflet about an "Asian" riot. The judge accepted what he published was true but because it would cause racial tension it was illegal and gave him a year in jail.

Place an advert in your local papers Public Notices maybe once a week quoting a verse from the Koran and a verse from the bible.

The school in question is Wycombe High School, an 11 - 18 age Grammar School for Girls in Buckinghamshire.
As a Bucks resident I am disgusted. My daughters attended another school in the county, of which Jane Wainwright was Head at the time. She is an excellent head teacher, worthy of full and unstinting support.
But I think I can tell why she didn't get that support. On browsing around the Bucks CC web site, http://www.buckscc.gov.uk, I note that the Lead Spokesperson in Cabinet for Secondary Schools (in the Children and Young People's Services portfolio) is one Councillor Zahir Mohammed. I might be cruel in thinking that he is putting his own re-election chances (elections in Bucks County Council are due May this year!) ahead of his civic duty, but it will take a lot to make me think otherwise. I expect that he is heavily dependent on the votes of those who pray to Mecca.
I will refrain from further comment about the religion of perpetual victimhood (and the inability of its adherents to turn their back on the violence mandated by its Founder).
I will be volunteering financial support to the school if there is still time, and strongly encourage others to do the same.
