Two brothers who used to work at a brick kiln have escaped from what they describe as a kidnapping and torture by the business owner, who wanted them to convert from Christianity to Islam, according to a new report from Voice of the Martyrs, a U.S.-based Christian group helping members of the persecuted Christian church worldwide.The two now have had to move to a new location in Pakistan, since the kiln owner continues to search for them, alleging they owe him a sum of about $750 – or 45,000 rupees.
The brothers, Shahzad, 18, and Saraj Bashir, 20, were working for the kiln company – at the rate of about 200 to 300 rupees per 1,000 bricks, but were being pressured by the owner to forsake Christianity.
One day their steadfast Christian faith brought their Islamic boss to a breaking point.
"When Shahzad and Saraj refused to convert, the brick kiln owner took them away," according to a VOM source within Pakistan. "He put them in a small, empty room with a mud floor without a bed, chair or mattress."
The source continued: "He kept them there for a month. He gave them food once a day and beat them with a stick when they refused to convert back to Islam. He also threw acid on their arms, but they remained true to their Christ."

I would encourage these poor guys to go into another line of business, like selling ice cream. But, on the Jihad Watch page, we now learn that selling ice cream is haram too, and heads can be lost over that occupation. In addition to being the religion of peace, Islam always claims to pick up new followers because of the simplicity of their religion. You know, "There is no God but God and Allah is his name..." Seems like there are many more rules to follow, once a new believer gets his/her membership card. Also, translations of the Koran seem so difficult to do correctly. In any case, I think that these brothers should do what hundreds of non-Muslims do everyday, escape from the countries where the religion of peace rules.

I will wager the Christians did not ask the employer for special toilets, place mats, private praying rooms, time off for praying, priority in company raises,or a law that they cannot be profiled...
...I would also wager these workers actually did a good job for the wages earned, showed up on time for work, and did not care what religion the owner chose to follow...
...They are lucky they are not dead...They should thank their God ... who is a true God, not some vagabond caravan robber pervert...

Perhaps we in the West should put our money where out mouths are and REALLY cut Islamic immigration but re-allocating immigration/asylum quotas to allow for Iraqi, Pakistani, Indonesian, and Arab Christians to immigrate at the expense of their Muslim countrymen. This may be a win-win for everyone. The Muslims can boast that they have cleansed their country of Kufar dogs. And we can have the steady flow of immigrants to our countries that will actually continue to make our lands great rather than a 7th Century backwater where adulterers are stoned and 9 y/o girls are considered marriageable.

Me? I like the chest camp fire technique better than the beatins with sticks and acid baths. When he pulled off that stunt in his murder of Kinana, Mohammed set himself apart from the pack.
Was the Kinana murder the Sunnah's nadir? I think so. At the very least, it was the zenith of Mohammed's creativity.

"Tortured bricklayers..." -- I read it glancingly as "tenured bricklayers" and thought it must have to do with MESA Nostra.I see that I was wrong. Still, perhaps it is worth noting that even tenured bricklayers, whether they favor the English or the Flemish or the herringbone bond, as long as they are endowed with common sense and know something about the observable behavior of Muslims in the world, would likely be less misleading teachers of Islam, because un-partaking of any malignant parti pris, than most of the current members of MESA Nostra.

where is the christian-muslim unity in pakistan? christian in pakistan are not treated any better than hindus. please explain once again diesh how islamic morality is better than western lib moarlity, it's hard for me to understand.
