The ideology of multiculturalism, i.e. blind tolerance toward any culture and tradition, is destroying European identity and is above all doing away with human rights and, more specifically, women’s rights. A prime example is the increasing tolerance in European countries toward polygamy.In theory, polygamy is prohibited in Italy and in Europe. But it increasingly happens, in the name of multiculturalism, that Muslim immigrants are registered as polygamists in the European continent: if a man is Muslim and married in his country of origin with 4 wives, we cannot but accept this as a given. All this goes against European laws and constitutions – which affirm monogamous families – but, in the name of a misplaced respect for cultures, any solution is deemed acceptable.
Tolerance for polygamy?
In Italy, some constitutionalists are suggesting, for the sake of letting people have it both ways, that only one wife be recognized as such, while the others are considered concubines: this would settle the situation of various Muslims who already have a wife in their country of origin and take another in Italy. Others think that a distinction could be made between civil marriage (at City Hall, with just one wife) and religious marriage in a mosque, where polygamous marriages could be celebrated. Naturally, to do this, they are proposing that the articles of Italian civil law, which affirm monogamy and the equality of men and women, not be read. A similar trend is spreading in Greece. In certain areas where Muslims are the majority, the government has accepted the principle that they manage themselves with their own norms. And so, in Athens, polygamy is prohibited, but in Muslim-majority areas, it is allowed, again in the name of cultural respect.
Multiculturalism is doing a lot of damage. Firstly to common sense: if a man is married in Senegal with a woman and in Italy with another, this cannot be defined as monogamy. A crime remains such whether it is committed in Italy or abroad. Such tricks are actually a way to suggest loopholes for polygamy. Thus, if an Italian wants to have more than just one wife, all he needs to do is to convert to Islam!
But multiculturalism is above all damaging to the dignity of women. Polygamy in Italy is prohibited in that it is contrary to the principle of equality between men and women. It would be useful to Islam too to affirm this principle. In Islamic society, in fact, women cannot be polygamous (only men have that “right”). The same is true for repudiation, which is permitted to a man, but not to a woman who, however, can ask her husband the favour of repudiating her. Affirming monogamy is thus the way forward on the path for an overall effort in favour of women’s rights.

In Britain the Blair government has been preparing the political ground for polygamy for some years now and I will outline their programme as it has unfolded to me.
BBC Radio Four's “Today” goes out between 7.30 and 9.30 every morning is the absolute anchor of news coverage in the UK. It is so much a part of British life that the Navy's nuclear submarines are instructed to listen to it when on patrol to check what is happening in Britain. The government routinely use “Today” to test public reaction to controversial policies by un-attributable “leaks”. They also or arrange for interviews to be given to fringe groups with particular demands for the same purpose - testing the water.
About five years ago “Today” raised the question of polygamy, which the government is presenting as “plural marriage”, in an interview with an unpleasant sounding Muslim woman. If I remember correctly it ended with her saying “The Muslim community has been supporting Labour for years now and it's about time we had something in return!”
Then about three years ago a Radio 4 programme devoted a full half-hour to investigating polygamy or “plural marriage” in Britain and was surprised to find how common it was. As I remember there was not one word of condemnation and very little comment about the legality, the whole tone of the report was; “How interesting! We never thought it was so common!”
The Muslim community has in fact been practising polygamy for 20 years or more but the usual form has been to divorce one wife under British law after about 10 or 15 years to bring in a much younger woman from the country of origin. Wife number one then lives a little distance away on welfare while the man raises a second family.
This pattern has changed and within the last month I know of a well-to-do Muslim - born and educated in Britain - who told his colleagues he was marrying for the 4th time. He is quite open about it and says he knows only the first one is legal. That is how far things have gone in Britain - they don't even bother to conceal it any more.
The first thing Labour did on gaining power 10 years ago was to pay off its Muslim voters by removing all restrictions on bringing partners in from Pakistan and Bangladesh. They said that as these operated mainly against people from these countries they were racially discriminatory. No matter that the Immigration Service said they were removing the last control on immigration from these countries, they had to pay off their voters. Now 60% of British Muslims bring in partners from overseas.
Statistically speaking the young Muslim who has just married for the 4th time will have brought in two of his four wives illegally from Pakistan. However I reckon his chances of being prosecuted under immigration law let alone family law are zero.

Think about it , muslim men are allowed more than
one wife but if a muslim woman allegedly looks at
a male the wrong way all hell breaks loose!
Just because Muhammad says so !!!
Do they really desire this including the "slaps"

Here in Serbia we have a proverb: 'every bird fly to its own flock'. Beside a proverb, we have our europe before europe expiriance, incarnated first in capitalistic monarchy and than communist dictatorship. In both cases experiment ended in disaster.
And all that wasted time we at least use to speak the same language.

First of all, it's downright disgusting and shocking that we here in the modern and civilized world actually ALLOW this cult of barbarians to exist, considering the way to beat your wife is written right into their holy book, but this passage he's referring to in the koran always makes me laugh (hysterically, but laugh all the same)...
"EXTREME PUNISHMENT" -- makes it sound like the beating itself isn't so bad, right... if she's REALLY acting up, the muslim male turns on the EXTREME PUNISHMENT of -- not having sex with her.
Considering how truly physically repulsive most male muslims are with their filthy, hairy bodies and disgusting, long, stinky beards (*SHUDDER*), I would imagine that not having to have sex with one would be a BLESSING, not a punishment... most especially not an EXTREME punishment.
The ferociously huge EGO of male muslims honestly never ceases to stun me.

Ahmed, the Serial Polygamist
We tolerate polygamy right here in the States. Here’s how it works:
Ahmed leaves his Section 8 apartment and goes down to the SBA to get money for his cab. A year later, he files with the IRS showing a loss and receives a payment back in the form of a “refund” and goes down to the mosque. After some fun in the Men’s Room, he picks out a Moslima and has the local Imam marry them, all with a marriage license issued by the county. Then he picks out another and marries her too, but only the Imams and his buds down at the mosque know of this, cuz this time there's no marriage license from the county. Moslima #2 gets knocked up, has Ahmed Junior medical care courtesy of MediAID. The next step is for her to go down to the county welfare and applies for AFDC and gets it by lying that she’s an unwed mother, and in a way that’s true cuz only Moslima #1 holds a marriage certificate.
When the willfully gullible (or pro-Islam) welfare worker, a Marxist, checks in on Moslima #2 home, the sneaky little Moslimette Mom sets up for the appointment in a Reusable Welfare Apartment sponsored by the mosque for such visits. After the Marxist gives her approval and leaves, Moslima #2 returns to Ahmed’s apartment and his burgeoning family.
Repeat this process two more times, and Ahmed — the wealthy subsidized halal cabbie — has hit the Sharia limit of 4 wives and, as the Ahmed Juniors and Baby Moslimas continue to pop out of the oven, finds himself rolling in welfare money and other kinds of gubmint checks.
Years later, Ahmed finds himself falling in love with America for a brief moment, as he stands at the counter at the clinic and does the paperwork to have the stupid Infidel American taxpayers foot the bill for his eldest daughter’s clitoridectomy, a proud moment for Ahmed and all the Moslimas cuz it's the first such procedure in the family.

Why is the world entranced by the great lie of Multiculturalism? All cultures are not created equal,and to entertain that thought is just unreasonable, most especially for women. Would you rather be part of a culture that allows polygamy and beating, or a culture that treats women as equals and protects their rights as individuals? The answer isn't hard, yet the free world still seems hypnotized by a concept that's patently ridiculous.

Why are nations so dumb these days to the point they bend over backwards to be nice to Islam when Muslims really do not care about infidel culture in return. I say don't let too many non-EU members in other wise you won't have a EU. The more Muslims you have the more problems you have since when did Europe have these silly debates on countless Muslim needs when instead it should be looking after their own values. The more Europe bends with Islamic needs the more they will be allowed in and they will want to come in. Like a parasite bird throw your brothers out of their next and then attack the mother bird, wake up before we have a large civil war in 20 to 50 years time.

As soon as muslims arrive in a country they demand sepratist themes and try to change any law that is 'man-made' which is easy to do when man throws Biblical principles out and adopt Satanism with open arms two of kind I THINK.

Well, it could be the circumcision, but then, they are not to be educated, 9 year olds are sold in marriage to adult males, rape by the adult male spouse, stoning of anyone claiming to be raped, navigating a polygamous household as the youngest wife, having children at eleven, not being able to drive, not being able to go out in public without a male relative, not being allowed to speak to women (ie, neighbors) outside of the family, being beaten by the older wives or your husband, being discarded and denied custody of your children...
I guess, all that precludes certain other thoughts from their minds....
