You can't make this stuff up.
"I'm confident that he will come back," said the Judge. Oh, good.
"Judge OK's Disney World trip for man linked to terrorism investigation," from The Associated Press, with thanks to Seafood Gumbo:
CHICAGO: A federal judge in Illinois on Thursday approved a request for a trip to Disney World by a man who the government had once accused of aiding Palestinian militants, brushing aside prosecutors' claims that he may instead flee."I'm confident that he will come back," U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve said in giving former Chicago grocer Muhammad Salah permission to make the trip to the Florida vacation spot.
Salah, 53, and former business professor Abdelhaleem Ashqar, 48, were acquitted Feb. 1 of racketeering conspiracy involving laundering and delivering money to Hamas militants trying to topple Israel's government.
The men, however, were convicted of lesser charges. Ashqar was convicted of refusing to testify before a federal grand jury after being granted immunity from prosecution while Salah was convicted of lying under oath in a civil lawsuit. They are awaiting sentencing....
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph M. Ferguson opposed allowing Salah to take off the monitoring bracelet or make the trip.
"His word has been found worthless by a jury," Ferguson said.

This "judge" needs to be removed from the bench.
Such an incompetent also should be required to read up on Islam to see just how trustworthy jihadists and their enablers can be.

We're plain stupid.
at March 9, 2007 2:41 PM
How many prisoners (regardless of what they're in for) express an interest in going to Disney World? Is this some sort of scouting mission? Ah, how Islam makes one suspicious of certain people's motives and intentions.

just why would a Muslim (sentenced in part to wear a monitoring bracelt) want to travel around the US without it...unless he was handcuffed to a US Marshall, no one would know where he is or whom he sees...
I agree, we are stupid....
what passes for justices in this country is laughable....
did he petition the court for authorization to remove the bracelet...or did this female judge take it upon herself to order the removal?....
...maybe someone should send some pictures of mutilated bodies, the twin towers, the marine barracks, the african embassies, the butchered rubber plantation worker, the butchered icecream vender, the mutilated barber, the beheaded Americans, a few photos of American soldiers walking around on artificial limbs, photos of the mass executions and a photo of Ahmadinejad glaring into the camera...someone should send the photos with a note explaining this is what happens when Muslims are on the loose...and you turned one loose....

I foresee a new marketing campaign: the terror suspect smiles as the monitoring bracelet is removed, and as he slips into a bomb vest, looks at the camera and says "I'm going to Disney World!".

Unbelieveable. I can't wait to see what the judge has to say if (when?) this guy ends up disappearing within the next few days.

Nice idea. However, I don't see judge Aisha St. Eve being moved to sanity by such pictures. Idiots like her are totally clueless about the enemy's true nature-they don't know and don't want to know.

It is important that they feel loved and trusted no matter what they do. After all, America is their home.

Think he'll swing by CAIR while he's running loose in Flordia and give a big Assalamu Alaikum shout out to the stupidendous Ahmed Bedier?
at March 9, 2007 5:24 PM
Just when I think that I've "seen it all," along comes a story like this one.
Salah may well rendezvous with CAIR at Disney World.

As the android said in the movie Blad Runner, "Then we're weak and stupid and we'll die".
==========
Personally I think that the guy should be confined to the judge's house, with the judge's wife and children.

Now what would patrons of Disney World have to say about this if they were made aware of the presence of this terror-linked suspect, Muhammad Salah, during their costly, much anticipated, fun filled child/family 'friendly' vacation?

Where did this grocer, presumably out of work during his trial, get the money to go to Disneyland? Is he going with young children? By himself? Will he be tailed? Disneyland might be the perfect place to meet up with contacts and compare notes on interrogations, and what has already been revealed, and what is still not known by the American authorities. Really, Disneyland?

"Disneyland might be the perfect place to meet up with contacts"
..might be, who can say he did not go to Miami, Atlanta, Tampa, Kansas City or New YOrk?....He only said he was going to Orlando...

Make that "the judge's husband and children". Her name is U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve.

Judge Amy J.St.Eve
Has flattered to deceive;
The work on the bench
Has befuddled the wench
And her brain now resembles a sieve.
Obviously Amy is intelligent enough to understand that Disney World is the new Mecca whence all followers of Moh must make a pilgrimage at least once in their miserable lives.
Which character should greet Salah on his arrival? I propose Dirty Harry .. 'make my day'.

Why Disneyworld? Isn't that a symbol of infidel decadence? Why does any believing Moslem want to go to Disneyworld? What do they tell the children? When I was in Disneyworld last December, I saw two or three families with the father and kids in shorts and the mother following behind in the big black tent, and plenty more women with the hijab. What can they be thinking? As Hugh says, maybe meeting contacts, or ISLAMFORLOSERS, a scouting mission? Ideas for converting it into an Islamic theme park? Or maybe one last bout of infidel fun before they take over and destroy it all?
