What is it with this Islamic-inspired obsession with pigs? Observant Jews don't eat pork and some even avoid pigskin leather and pig bristle brushes, but that's a far cry from being offended by the sight or suggestion of them.

What are these PC idiots going to do next? Transfer the same obsession to dogs, apes and any other creatures that are not among "the Prophet's" favoured?

One of these days we're going to have an office titled "Office of Islamic Sensitivities" in at least one Western nation. The sole function of that office will be to examine anything and everything in all walks of life to see if it will even slightly offend the Infidelophobes. If it does offend, it will either be bannished or changed. Anything that is deemed inoffensive will be specially marked with a good seal of Illah's approval. If you see a picture of a smiling bearded guy in a turban holding a severed head then you know you've come across an Islamically approved item.

The phobia with black dogs has to with association with jinns having easier access to dog souls which are black....

This is bizarre since there is really no such thing as a black dog, only a black-haired dog. If you shave the fur off any dog, they are all beige coloured. Besides that, aren't souls invisible? I didn't know a soul had colour.

Jews don't eat pork but it was common for Jews in 19th century Eastern Europe to eke out a living buying pig bristles from the peasants to sell for brushes. Pig bristle buying was thought of as a distinctly Jewish occupation. Jewish Rabbinic lore being infinitely more sophisticated than Islamic was well aware that extreme avoidance of anything to do with pigs could actually smack of pig worship. (i.e. Totem and Taboo).

I guess the reason they hate pigs so much is because they believe Jews and Christians are apes and pigs, so it really offends their delicate sensibilities to have to lay eyes on one. I forget, as a Christian am I an ape or a pig? Luckily apes don't play as prominent a role in our society or I'm sure there would be calls to ban them too.

I’ve got a large black dog Naseem, a lovely beast she is too! Part Rottweiler part Manchester terrier and greyhound among other things. She can run like the wind and has huge white teeth. She also dislikes uninvited guests with a passion.

Her biggest attribute is the fact that she doesn’t read the newspapers or watch the TV. CAIR or the MCB could spend a million dollars a month on advertising and she wouldn’t even notice. But if they came to the house to make their point she would get upset.

That’s why I like my big black dog Naseem. Has for the Jinns. Who cares?

So dogs have souls? Do they go to Islamic heaven I think they do. But yes on the other hand the Bible says Jesus commanded evil spirits into pigs where they run down a hill and drowned in water.
But does not mean every animal will inherit spirits the evil spirits can go in almost all life forms but the Holy Spirit can combat them that’s why exorcism is used. Of course Muslims don't believe in Holy Spirit and one once called it 'Vodka Spirit' and yet even the Koran speaks of evil Spirits, goes to show who side he was on.

But even so there are clean animals and dirty ones. Dirty ones are the type that clean the earth and eat the rotting food and the lions for example eat only the clean ones only eat a fresh kill.

Only because they do things differently does not mean they are bad it was just Jewish custom for sacrifice to choose a clean Animal and a healthy one and even that story is old now even at 2007 years ago, but Islam reintroduced backwardness because they left out Jesus who was the final Lamb. So the progress when backwards and that is why the West has progressed and we can not keep up with Islamic past.

Pig aversion:

Source? A toxic ideology denying rights.
Evaluation? A STUPID superstition.
Cause? Irrationality
Deserves respect? NO. It deserves contempt!
Should we adhere to a contemptible irrational superstition coming from a toxic ideology? NO!! It's immoral to do so.

There was NOTHING wrong with the "Little Pigs" performance. Any problems that Muslims might have had would have been brought about by their own irrationality; the fault lies with the irrationally sensitive and NOT with the performers. Submitting to Islamic "sensitivities" will give them victory after victory, and just embolden Muslims to try for complete Islamization.
If we want a same society, we can't get there by caving in to (and supporting) irrational superstitions (from any quarter).

Needless to say, I'm very glad to hear that the Little Pigs are back in their rightful place in the performance.

The reason that dogs are haram is because they give unconditional love. They are always there for you, they feel for you when you're sick, they want you to be happy and unless they are trained to hate, they usually do no harm. These virtues would not be welcome in an Islamic society, hence, the dogs have got to go.

I had to sit back and feel sorry for Naseem when I read her explanation of black dogs being conducive to jinn activity. How dreadfully sad that a woman who obviously has a brain would enslave herself to an antiquated belief that sounds a lot like a fairy tale. But then, if the earth is really flat, even though Muslims who study science know for a fact that it is not, I guess we could accept the jinn/dog theory...when pigs fly.

Had dinner with a Pakistani guy the other night, who explained to me that while he doesn't mind wearing pig skin gloves or a pig skin jacket, he just can't get over the feeling that eating pork is gross.

He even drinks, about which his comment was, "Look, there are good alternatives to pork. But there are no good alternatives to a cold beer.".
