Can you give to the Nazi Party too?
"Sheik 'committed no offence,'" from AAP, with thanks to Paying Attention:
It is unlikely controversial mufti Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali committed an offence if he gave charity money donated by Sydney Muslims to Hezbollah, Australian Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty says. The claims are being investigated by the Australian Federal Police as a possible breach of Australia's anti-terrorism laws.
But Mr Keelty today said if proved to be correct it was more likely to be an issue of governance than an offence.
"We are obviously looking at the circumstances surrounding the donations, but I would caution against any speculation about any offence being committed here," Mr Keelty said.
"I suspect that it's more an issue of governance and the governance arrangements about the money.
"I wouldn't certainly be speculating that there would be any intension for us to charge or take action against Mr Alhilali," he said.
Why, of course not!

This B****** came to Australia on a tourist visa, refused to go home. He never learnt English. Now he says he is more Australian then the prime minister and that the likes of himself have "more right" to live in Australia than the Anglo Saxons, (who in the course of 200 years, developed the country and made it a 1st World nation worth living in.) This evil moron is a traitor -there's no two ways about it.
Nevertheless, an Egyptian (Christian) workmate gave an interesting take on the matter. He said it's far better that the Muslims here are represented by such a spiteful ungrateful individual, because this is far better than the Muslims being diplomatic, and trying to ingratiate themselves with the Australian government and people for profit and favour.

I don't know if this has been mentioned here, but the aforementioned friend says that PALTALK used to be a VERY POPULAR internet site for Arabic speaking Christians to attack Islam, he says that about a month or two ago it was purchased by the Saudis, and that part of the site was closed down, and replaced by anti-Christian material!

Timbo, I'm a native Brit; if I went to Oz on a tourist visa to, say, visit my brother - who lives in Queensland - and then refused to leave again, what do you reckon would happen?
When the authorities descended on me to ship me out, could I find a fancy lawyer to claim I was being racially discriminated against because, after all, those were the terms Hilali arrived under and nobody shipped him out when he didn't go?

A few months back Hilali was on the news.
He was shown at the funeral of an Australian anglo-saxon woman, being buried as is the Islamic custom, dumped in a hole, without a coffin.
Also at the funeral was that woman's latest "friend".
This friend being a Muslim cab driver who had befriended the dying woman in hospital.
According to hospital staff, this Muslim was often at the hospital, visiting the dying woman, who was not in any sort of cognizant condition, pen and documents in hand.
The hospital staff apparently often resorted to chasing him off, as one might chase off vultures.
As it turns out, on the woman's death, her new found Muslim "friend" produced documents with the dead woman's signature.
One document stated that she had converted to Islam.
Another document signed all her worldly possessions over to the new Muslim "friend".
Hilaly was smiling broadly at that woman's funeral.
The will is being disputed by the woman's relatives.

Unfortunately, Sir Henry, the terms that allowed this maggot to infest our country was not brought out by any fancy lawyer, but by a vile little vote-whoring politician by the name of Paul Keating. Even the Immigration Minister knew Hilali was rubbish and was about to toss him out with a deportation order. But the revolting Keating negated that, and even gave him citizenship. So unless you could promise some slimey pollie a whole pile of votes, you'd be locked up in detention until your exit from our country could be arranged.
And it seems Hilaly will get away with it again. The Hezbollah funding is just the latest in a series of treasonous, disgusting activities by this disgusting creature. Unfortunately our laws give so many rights and freedoms, which create our vastly superior, stable and progressive societies, and scum like Hilaly use and abuse these rights and freedoms to get away with murder.

Blame Keating, absolutely. But Keelty is a wretch, an obdurate dhimmi of the worst kind, with none of the excuses that the serpentine Keating has.

Google the fool for many more of his fatuous and purblind pronouncements.

Keelty is indeed a firstclass deadsh*t and dropkick.
Regarding catmeat, I would actually prefer that he stay in the country, as he is indeed a learned islamic cleric. He does indeed know his quran, and the more he opens his mouth, the more Australians awaken to islam.
Just not necessarily in the way he would prefer. The mood here in Melbournistan is one of growing anger. People at gatherings are becoming more inclined to speak about muslims and islam.
They don't know what exactly the problem is, why muslims are always on the news whinging about something, or what Hilaly is doing traipsing over the ME when his constituents are in Lakemba, but they do know that something is not right.
Which is, of course, the perfect moment to introduce them to JW. A short talk about the quran and what's in it is enough to make people feel better about themselves.
They are not racist because they are sick and tired of muslim bleating, and they are not imagining things when they feel uncomfortable at the looks they get from muslims.
Hilaly is helping to raise the profile of islam in Oz, and that can only be a good thing.

Didn't think I could. It's the same here - legal actions over racial discrimination only work one way here too.
Here's a nice little link for Ozzies (Americans don't need it).

Imagine how I feel. If I want to go and live in Australia I've got to jump through all sorts of hoops with a point system for entry and everything. You can see why that is, what with the British being such a problem in Australia and all.
But if you're from the Third World, just turn up, lie, scheme, claim asylum, whatever it takes. Once you've got an in, bring your wives, your relatives, etc etc.
Hey, don't even attempt to change, just bring your third world ethics with you, they're sooo humane.
Time for us to wake up.

I agree with an earlier posting that Keelty is definitely the most high profile and powerful Dhimmi in Australia (a least in terms of his public statements). One can only hope that he doesn't truly believe all he's saying in public. The reason I think he may be merely applying a tactical approach is twofold:
(1) to encourage Australian muslims aware of islamist activity to report them to the Federal Police as per this story
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,21601871-2,00.html?from=public_js
and
(2) to encourage Indonesia to continue co-operating in anti-terrorist hunting (which has quietly been occurring since the Bali bombings).
Whether this succeeds in the longer term remains to be seen, but I'd definitely agree with other comments that Hilali's (aka Hilarity's) comments have been very useful in waking many citizens up to the dangers posed by islam, especially by his views on women. The longer he remains as as Mufti of Australian's muslims, the more the Australian non-muslim community thinks about where its heading towards.
