Phoenix airport user fees used to add foot-washing station for Muslim cabbies

More Sharia accommodation. "Sky Harbor installs cleanup station to Muslim taxi, limo drivers," from KVOA News 4, with thanks to all who sent this in:

Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix has installed a cleanup station to help Muslim taxi and limo drivers meet their religious needs.

Two faucets located two feet above the ground enable the drivers to conduct ritual cleansing, including washing of the feet, before they pray....

The facility was funded through airport user fees, she said, not taxpayer dollars.

Oh yeah , I meant to include....they should have collected the money from the cab and limo drivers...after all, the "improvements" were for them...

Okay what happens, since these are available for EVERYONE and not just Muslims, when some Cowboy decides to urinate in one.
Does he get his head cut off?

Posted by: auntbea [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 7:01 AM

The solution is simple. Anyone planning to go to the airport should bring along with them a pair of pigs feet that can be washed while waiting for their flight.

And leave them there.

It will be interesting to see what the reaction is to a non-Muslim who washes his feet there. Will the Muslims claim it's been contaminated by "infidel filth" and demand a new one???

Far be for me to comment upon hygienic practises
of smelly feet but I notice -'MUSLIMS ONLY'.
Next demand will be TOILETS FACING AWAY FROM MECCA ESPECIALLY FOR MUSLIMS DOING HALAL POOS...
Are you sure U.S is being Islamized at a slower rate than Eurabia??

Assalamau Laikum auntbea,

It is available for everyone...just like all are welcome to join Islam.

There is really no reason for you be all flippant...Thank Allah SWT that there are still good peoples living in the Amerike who still want to make efforts for integration....so what if a little bit of money is spent on a couple of pedistals for washing feet...it cannot be much!

As for cowboys urinating in one....why?...is this the depth of understanding & courtesy of the cowboy?...or have you run out of urinals at the airport...talk sense...this is one of the few good things to come out of the Amerike for the muslim...and at any rate...you know that muslims will not have smelly or unhealthy feet....perhaps this is a practice that you should all employ.

So when muslims hijack airplanes at American airports, and saw off the heads of little children for the cameras, at least we will know that their feet are clean.

Lovely thought -- makes perfect sense.

All I know is that this sh*t is spreading ... at the airport where I commute, there's swarms of covered Somali girls attempting to work the rental car return area - 95% hijabbed. Talk about freaky... it's only a matter of time before we're all tripping over those ankle-high wash basins.

I was told by a Jordanian (Christian) that the guy they say is a Jordanian included in the six who wanted to murder our military people at Fort Dix is really a Palestinian.

It figures. Jordan kicked most of these freaks out and then most went to mess up Lebanon, along with Hezbollah.

Posted by: R_not [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 9:56 AM

A User Fee airport is one in which a fee is charged for the use of Customs and Border Protection services. In effect, it's a form of direct taxation upon the travller for the increased costs of flight security following 9/11, the abomination which some of us may remember was perpetrated by jihadi fanatics.

Your tax dollars at work, Citizens! Anyone for separation of Church (Mosque) and State?

"The facility was funded through airport user fees, she said, not taxpayer dollars."

This "spokesdhimmi" actually believes that its okay to take money from the user fees of all travelers through this federally-regulated, taxpayer-funded airport and divert it to accomodate people one religion over all other religions.

These same people read a book that sanctions rape, murder, honor killings, clitorectomies, jizyah and more crimes against the human condition throughout human history that those committed by Hitler to glorify Nazism and the extermination of the Jews.

I can guarantee you that when Mohohohomet slips and falls on his sanctimonious arse in the sacred washing stall that he will sue this airport for everything he can get. The airport authority will have no defense because they installed these stations for this purpose and have thereby invited these same worshipers to wash their feet. The airport is going to be liable, either way. The taxpayer will pay and pay and pay for this mistake.

It is nauseating to see anything that makes moslems feel more "at home" here, ESPECIALLY at airports. What the hell are they thinking at Sky Harbor?

Posted by: Buffy [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 10:43 AM

USER FEES:
If Sky Harbor airport is operated like Logan airport this is the deal. The cab driver is charged to enter the airport bullpen to wait for his fare. The wait can be anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours.

This fee he pays is then added to the cab fare. He is legally allowed to collect it from his passenger. These fees build the rest room and snack bar in the holding area and parking lot. There are so many Muslims cab drivers in all American cities that now they demand foot baths. Their demands are disgusting but semi-legit in my eyes because the drivers fees pay to build these holding pens with rest room and snack bar which is leased out. At least that's how it is at Boston's Logan Airport.

"This fee he pays is then added to the cab fare."

"...the drivers fees pay to build these holding pens with rest room ..."

Posted by: dennisw

...and the cab fare is paid by John Q Public, who, by default, is paying to please the Peaceful Religon of Islam...and indirectly is dying by slow Jihad....a death of a thousand cuts...

"Airport user fees" are imposed on all of us, includinig those of us who regard Islam as a danger to our legal and political instiutions, and its adherents, whether they engage in active Jihad or not,and whether, when they do engage in it, are engaged in a violent form or not, nonetheless by their mere presence help to swell the power of Islam, to increase the costs of monitoring, to increase the numbers of participants in campaigns of Da'wa, formal and informal (friendly handing of a Qur'an to an innocent passenger, with follow-up by the cabdriver or someone to whom the cabdriver passes on that innocent's name). Jihad takes many forms, and anything that deliberately forces us to acclimatize ourselves to the demands of Muslims is a psychological danger. Anything that makes the practice of Islam seem matter-of-fact, an accepted (and welcome) part of the landscape, is a danger.

I have used the Phoenix airport. If I use it again, I am going to make a real fuss about that "user fee" and demand back a pro-rated share. Let's get this straight: an "international airport" is a common carrier, and this one is public, this one receives public moneys, subsidies. The government is deeply involved. This diversion of public funds is unconstitutional. It is support for religion, it is blatant support for a particular religion (or would Muslims like to own up at this point and recognize that Islam is not merely a "religion" but a Total Belief-System?)

While waiting for the Supremes to have their say, as the case, which I hope will be brought at once, percolates upward, I hope others will join me in carrying wine and spirits whenever they visit that airport, or the one in Minneapolis.

I have never carried such items before, but will make a point to do so for those and other relevant airports, to have with me ostentatiously on disply a bottle of something. Let's make it unusual: Berkut vodka (from heretofore tolerant, half-Infidel Kazakhstan), or something, perhaps, in nuits-st.-georges, or acloudberry liqueur, Canadian or Finnish, which if I cannot find in a shop, will retrieve for this airport-taxi-queue occasion even if it means I have to mush-and--slush it myself,sled-dogs in the lead, all the way to the arctic circle, with its rapidly melting ice cap.

Posted by: Hugh [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 11:25 AM

exsgtbrown-
These "user fees" are most likely user fees specific to using ground transportation including limos and taxis. Not more the general user fees that the travel might pay as a surcharge on his plane ticket for landing/taking off from Sky Harbor

Posted by: dennisw [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 11:35 AM

The mention of Berkut vodka, and of nuits-st.-georges, and of cloudberry liqueur (to be bought in Helsinki, or at the Canadian border shops), makes me think it is time to renew my appeal to all those who make or produce anything at all.

Product Placement is the shameless name of the shameless game. I'm not talking about a cameo role for a Mercedes or for that matter a villa in Todi that appears in a Hollywood production, where apparently the glimpse of such things causes a certain deep-pocketed percentage of the moviegoing, and impressionable public to rush right out and buy that Mercedes, and rent or buy that villa in Todi (300 olive trees on the grounds, and a view of Assisi and Torgiano from every window) d, and a view of the Tiber too, and if you buy that Mercedes, and rent before buying, at the end of a stay next July, that villa in Todi, it will Change Your Life.

No, I'm talking about more modest things. I started here with a modest package of M&Ms. I went on to other items, and even devoted an entire posting to the matter. So far not a single manufacturer or producer of anything, mentioned by me here or at another website, has decided to send me, in grateful tribute, the kind of thing that any cheesy magazine gets samples of all the time -- cosmetics, wine, books that will never be reviewed but my, at the end of every month you take them down to a bookstore and what a pretty penny you can receive to supplement your absurdly small salary.

Let me simply repost here the previous one devoted to Product Placement:

Muslim hardliners torch 'sinful' TV sets in northwest Pakistan
From Arab Times, with thanks to Nicolei.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan, July 30 (AFP) - Hundreds of Muslims in Pakistan's staunchly conservative northwest have set ablaze dozens of TV sets following a cleric's ruling that watching television was a sin, police said Saturday.
The men congregated in a park after Friday prayers and piled up about 25 TV sets, doused them with fuel and set them on fire, said witnesses from the Charsadda district of the North West Frontier Province near the Afghan border. "These people actually responded to a cleric's call," said district police chief Muhammad Iqbal, after a local mullah had said on radio that watching TV was a sin and declared a jihad or holy war against vulgarity and obscenity.

The park echoed with shouts of "Allah-o-Akbar" (God is greatest) and "Islam zindabad" (long live Islam), while the emotional crowd also decried an ongoing crackdown on suspected extremists following the London bombings.

Parliamentarian Maulana Gohar Shah addressed the crowd and called the 800 arrests and series of raids on Islamic seminaries ordered by President Pervez Musharraf a "conspiracy of the infidel (non-believer) world"...

Our own home-grown schizophrenically Puritanical Leftists who drive around in SUVs with bumper stickers that say "Kill Your Television" next to others that say "Bush is Hitler" should appreciate their bedfellow Others on the other side of the World which they are.

Posted by: metaxy at July 31, 2005 05:49 PM
I know the feeling. Television -- can't live with it, can't kill it.

But still, one wishes that those Pakistanis, so pure of heart, had not been so maddened, and so maddeningly wasteful. Couldn't they have given the sets away, to others less fortunate -- because more Infidelish -- than themselves?

One thriftily hopes that the sets in question were bottom-of-the-line black-and-white, with fuzzy pictures. And how good can the reception be, anyway, in the northwest frontier regions of Pakistan> Why not send them across the Durand Line to Afghanis who have even less, in those places such as Kafiristan ("Land of the Infidels" for Islam did not arrive until 1896 in lucky, lucky Kafiristan) and Waziristan, and Nuristan and Puristan and Foosistan and aptly-named Woosistan, where villages are relucant to surrender their homemade hootch.

Think of how horrible it must have been, in the first months after the Iranian Revolution, when the wine cellars of the Infidels and the infidelesque "Muslim-for-identification-purposes-only" Muslims were opened, and their contents brought out, and smashed against walls, and the Pauillac '45 and the Romanee-Conti '29 and the Chambolle-Musigny and the Gaja Barbaresco ran red in the streets of Teheran, and no one dared to bend down to hand-cup into his mouth a few precious draughts out of respect to those who had toiled in the vineyards of the Lord (for the earth is His, and the fruits thereof). What a horrible waste it was, because, because, because, because -- because of the terrible waste it was (sung to the tune written by the newly-numismatized Yip Harburg -- "We're Off to See the Wizard").

What if the television sets those maddened Muslim villagers destroyed were not miserable old-fashioned cathode-ray tube things that even you and I, gentle reader, won't pick up from curbside on trash day, but were televisions of the very most up-to-date kind, the kind that promise Paradise, and deliver the goods.

This kind:

Yes, the New Sony KDE61XBR950 61-IN HDTV XBR Plasma WEGA Television would have been a terrible thing to have destroyed up there in Waziristan, don't you agee? Especially as it is a "High Definition TV" with "its floating glass panel design" which, I am sure you will continue to agree, might readily "seudce your senses as you enjoy stunning picture enhancement."

Okay, SONY. If you really want to pull away from Panasonic, or those dangerous South Korean underpricers, you know what to do. There's more Product Placement where that came from. Mr. Marketing Manager - you will promptly ship one television -- smaller size please, a 42-incher will do, more or less like the one described to me, c/o Robert, if you know what's good for you. Hell hath no fury like a self-apponted Product Placer scorned.

Oh, I almost forgot the other bits of product placement slyly inserted above. I refer to that incomplete list of vintage wines destroyed by the Muslim fanatics in Iran when the Shah fell, and his courtiers fled, and their cellars were discovered, and the wines taken out and punished for being very naughty wines indeed.

You who make wine, market wine, distribute wine here and abroad, and who keep sending stuff (does he accept it?) to Mr. Parker, or his epigones or imitators or rivals, inemakers and distributors who send all that free stuff to Mr. Parker and all the wannabe parkerettes out there, those cases sent to assorted wine magazines where they gladden the hearts of the otherwise poorly-paid reviewers, all that stuff sent to him just so he can, like an oenological schoolmarm, give out his grades -- a 93 or a 96 or, dare one hope, possibly even a 98, to this or that wine, and thus send its stock sky-high forever, should take a look at my posting, to see how I have managed to enroll our deep disquiet about Islam into a celebration not of Western literature or art (books can be easily bought, paintings and sculpture seen in museums), but of wine.

So if you are in the business of promoting the products of the the best years in the vineyard lives of Pauillac, Chambolle-Musigny, Romanee-Conti, and that Gaja Barbaresco I slipped in as a personal favorite --let's keep in touch, shall we? And if you didn't see the wine you distribute mentioned In This Space, drop me a line. Let's talk.

A public building, paid for by public dollars, and ran by public dollars, required to adhere to federal (not local) laws, is a goverment installation.

First, I would like to see their accounting books showing that they separate user fees from goverment funds. Lets see the books, they said it is justified funds, so lets see then back it up. Even the federal accounting office should be asking for the same thing.

Second, so if it is airport user fees is the fee disclosed to the public that 'this may be for the use and promotion of a religion'?

Thirdly, can any religion now hold public functions, events, or ask for the building of facilities at Sky Harbor with the use of airport user fees?

Fourth, and last, since the ACLU National and Arizona branch will not act against this because they like this anti-Christian promotion, can another branch of the ACLU sue Sky Harbor and ACLU national and ACLU Arizona for discrimination, and protectionism? Or can I race to my local airport and get something for my religion built and use this case as presidence when the ACLU says no because it is not islam?

10 things you can do with a Muslim foot wash faucet:

1) Perfect height for cleaning your guide dogs behind.
2) Spare urinal for dwarfs and toddlers.
3) Rinse dirty mop buckets.
4) Clean your boots and sandals.
5) Check which hemisphere you're in by watching the drain rotation pattern.
6) Rinse off that salami you accidentally dropped.
7) Clean out your beer cup before you throw it away.
8) Chewing tobacco spitoon.
9) Fill water balloons for attacking jihadists.
10) Refresh those old sores from your fungal infection.

why should special washrooms even be an issue...give them a bucket and a garden hose...much cheaper and portable....and make them buy their own bucket and garden hose, then charge them a fee for water usage and airport cleanup services, assign designated foot washing areas and penalize any who wash in undesignated areas...

"It will be interesting to see what the reaction is to a non-Muslim who washes his feet there. Will the Muslims claim it's been contaminated by "infidel filth" and demand a new one???" ['Infidel One']

A good question.

"It is available for everyone...just like all are welcome to join Islam." ['Naseem']

I plead with anyone who lives close to Phoenix to put this to the test.

There is no call for leaving pig's feet lying around - that would be unnecessarily provocative and a deeply offensive act.

This existence of this 'cleanup station' must be publicised and it must be used by all and sundry. Then we will see how 'available' it really is.

I have had some great laughs from the postings above. However, I agree with A Nonny Nonny. Don't do anything too offensive if you happen to be in the area and need to wash your hot, dusty feet. The Muslims will notice the infidel, scooting up to THEIR foot wash basin...just be sure that you do it at their prayer time. That's really all it will take, an infidel simply using a Muslim foot wash, nothing grand or spectacular. Insults and threats will follow by Muslims against the uppity infidel (sound familiar to those who know the history of Jim Crow Laws?) Let the lawsuits begin. Once one airport loses on charges of discrimination against non-Muslims, those foot basins will disappear over night.

Well according to the Ayatolla Khomeini Infidels wouldn't be welcome. Herewith find his list of the ten unclean things:

"The following eleven," in Khomeini's own words, "are najes (unclean). First, urine; second, stool; third, semen; fourth, dead bodies; fifth, blood; sixth and seventh, dogs and pigs; eighth, non-Muslims; ninth, wine; tenth, beer; eleventh, the sweat of a camel that eats unclean things."

Posted by: GaryK [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 2:38 PM

Yah, for those who are picky, I said ten but, the Khomeini quote actually listed eleven unclean things, so we get the bonus of the eleventh--"the sweat of a Camel which eats unclean things"

Notice, too, that us Infidels are lower than urine, shit, corpses, dogs and pigs on this list but not quite so bad as the ol' "sweat of the Camel that eats unclean things."

Posted by: GaryK [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 11, 2007 2:49 PM

of course the "good eleven" are:

Jizah
Taqqiyya
Sharia Law
Forced Conversions
Slaves
Honor Killings
Suicide Bombers
IEDs
Rape
Murder
Kidnapping

My complaint:

Dear Sky Harbor employee,

I've read the article by staffers of KVOA located here:
http://kvoa.com/Global/story.asp?S=1882863
entitled:
Sky Harbor installs cleanup station to Muslim taxi, limo drivers

This craven accommodation to the religious habits of a group with a 7th Century mindset baffles me.

What's more, the idea of funding ritual foot washing basins through airport usage fees coming from non-Muslim travelers angers me.

This is discriminatory accommodation to a tribal 7th century mindset and I'm appalled.

I will go out of my way to avoid using the Sky Harbor Airport as long as it supports the ritual habits of one minority group over all other groups. That's discrimination - not accommodation. I don't want any of my money going to uses such as Muslim ritual foot baths.

Sincerely,
Plague

How about full-body mirrors and shaving equipment and tweezers to assist them in removing pubic hair? Just doing some thinking.

Just in case someone might object that Khomeini is dead, in the past, the current Iraqi Ayatollah Sistani has kindly elaborated on unclean number 8, to wit:

"108. The entire body of a Kafir, including his hair and nails, and all liquid substances of his body, are najis.
109. If the parents, paternal grandmother and paternal grandfather of a minor child are all kafir, that child is najis, except when he is intelligent enough, and professes Islam. When, even one person from his parents or grandparents is a Muslim, the child is Pak (The details will be explained in rule 217)."

I think some holy water fonts should be installed a few feet away from these foot baths, with a sign designating them for Catholics only. Let's stop this crap right now before it gets completely out of hand. When the airports are deluged with demands to accomodate every conceivable religion and cult, they will come to their senses and deny all such accomodations. Likewise businesses, schools, and every other public facility.

"109. If the parents, paternal grandmother and paternal grandfather of a minor child are all kafir, that child is najis, except when he is intelligent enough, and professes Islam."

I realize this is a Shi'a statement, but if any "lurker" would like to explain how this fits in with the "reversion" to Islam concept (i.e. everyone starts as a Muslim), I'd love to know.

Lets see what happens when a seeing-eye dog is washed in those showers or need a brisk blast to cool off.

The ACLU's head will expolide over who they side with, PETA who demands all dogs stop being exploited, CAIR who demand the showers stay but dogs go, the Blind Org.'s wanting equality , or the Cab Drivers who hate them all and want to kill the Dogs, the Blind infidels, and the vegan PETA idiots .

Time to accidentally drop some of that bacon
from the Burger so it lands in the spot Muslims stand to wash their feet.

Personally the world would be better off if Muslims starting cleaning their Hearts first and did their feet later on , a dirty foot has never threatened to behead anyone, but a impure Heart
has slaughtered about 100 million people in the 20th century and I really don't want to see Ed McMahon next to the Tote-Board trying to break the record in the 21st Century.

I can't wait to piss in one on my way through town. If you give the muslims an inch, they will take a mile. The only thing they understand is brutal violence, and that's what they will get when the white Anglo-Saxon man is pushed too far. Americans are not like the French and the English. We WILL react if pushed too far. Just watch ultimate fighting to see what the white man is capable of- no muslims in that sport. Oh, and if Islam is so great, why does Israel hold more patents than the entire muslim world combined? Answer- because Islam is still in the 12th century, yet the 2000 BC religion called Judaism has evolved its people into productive, creative members of the planet. Not all muslims may be terrorists, but 99% of all terrorists are muslim.

Both this story, and the one about the Fort Dix attempt was covered by Michael Savage today. In course of his analysis where he covered whether Islam can be recognized as a religion or not, he read out a few passages from Mein Kamph, and compared it with the Quran. A similar comparison can be found here.

This is a major discovery - there to be discovered anytime between the 1930s and today, but just recently investigated. A few years ago, Rush Limbaugh and a whole lot of other talk show hosts had a lot of fun comparing Algore's book 'Earth in the Balance' with Ted Kazinsky's Unabomber manifesto. Similarly, if people started reading these books, and noting more parallels, it would go a long way towards disintegrating the myth about Islam being more a religion than a supremacist ideology.

"airport user fee" "not tax dollars" sorry honey but airport user fees ARE tax dollars. User fees are another euphemism for taxes. The persons paying the tax are the users and I'm not exactly happy that my user fees are being used for this purpose. Guess I'll have to write a letter to the editor

Posted by: pak152 [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 12, 2007 8:14 AM

It's going to boil down to this, infidels are going to have to stop flying. The Kaffirs are going to have to reject sharia en masse. Until then, events like this will just encourage more dhimmitude.

This is my letter to Gov. Janet Napolitano (feel free to copy and send at will. Here's the governor's contact info: http://azgovernor.gov/Contact.asp):

The Honorable Janet Napolitano;

It is my understanding that Sky Harbor IAP has set up foot washing basins to accommodate the religious rituals of a single religion: Islam. I am having difficulty understanding how the use of "user fees" to sanction religion indemnifies the Phoenix government from what seems to be a clear violation of the Constitution. It still forces the public users of a federally regulated, tax payer-funded airport, to accommodate people one religion over all other religions by diverting these funds. Can I, as a non-Muslim, use these basins? What about the religious ceremonies of all other religions? Will Sky Harbor divert “user fees” to accommodate them as well? It’s an unfortunate turn this administration of the Phoenix city government has taken. Is Sky Harbor prepared to legally defend what appears to be a violation of separation of church and state?

I am writing this to you to express my concern and disappointment over this issue. It’s appalling to know that an official of the Democratic Party; a party known for its principles of inclusion for all; would allow a government administration to force public users to fund a religious project that those same users are not allowed to enjoy themselves.

It is my hope that your office will dissuade the Sky Harbor Airport administration from abrogating this very important part of our Constitution.

"This diversion of public funds is unconstitutional."

-Hugh

Yeah, sure it is. Who amongst us could not agree with your statement? You seem to forget that the Christianists (as powerful and numerous as they are here in the US) have made it so that such a misuse of public funds under the Lemon test would likely see you without standing in court due to its being considered de minimus. The latest example being Bush’s policies since he took the throne in 2000 commencing with federal monies for religious institutions (for social programs you see) and the expanding of religious workers in prison. Good going! These establishment separations are all the more crucial when dealing with a fanatical religion like Islam, but you see, we cannot have them as that would prevent the “true” religion (trademark) of Christianity from doing its missionary work.

And although I would gladly support your cause with respect to this Lemon test violation, I wish you good luck in court. You’ll need it. Oh and blame the theists for their counter crusade against secularism. Their theist chickens are coming home to roost all over the nation, including our prisons...

Posted by: Kafir Nonbeliever [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 12, 2007 12:55 PM

Hugh;

I agree with everything you say. Bush's "Faith-Based Initiatives" is the preverbial "can of worms" that was opened and now we've got Muslims screaming for gov't/company funded accommodations. But the battle must be fought on THEIR terms. That is to say; by pointing out the fact that other religions aren't represented; and whether they'll be accommodated in the same manner; highlights the "can of worms" which I believe in the long run, they'd prefer to avoid. I personally believe ALL religions should remain in churches/mosques/synogouges/temples/homes and out of the puplic/government business.

"perhaps this is a practice that you should all employ."

Provided we're - we the Dhimmi - allowed to use those foot baths, which we're assuredly not. You may say "Yes, they are for all," but as soon as one of those Muslims that apparently missed the part about tolerance and peace decides that the Dhimmi cannot use the muslim foot-bath, they're going to kill him. Then CAIR is going to say the dhimmi was committing a hate crime by using a foot bath without permission, and call for jihad.

Oh, wait. My bad, CAIR is anti-armed-jihad. They say it all the time. (HA!)

Posted by: TheStripe [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 12, 2007 5:27 PM

"it cannot be much!"

Get CAIR to pay for it, then. My tax money can't go to installing a crucifix in a prayer room in a public place. If a corporation decided to make a Christian prayer room in an Airport, that would be okay, as long as Jewish and Hindi and Buddhist and Muslim symbolism were available as well. (Except the muslims would maintain that they needed their own private one, which would also be favoritism.) This is a free country that believes in equality. Everyone gets one, or no one does, and I for one, refuse to have my airline tickets become more expensive because Muslims need special facilities. Here in the west, we're all the same. No one makes any special considerations for the Buddhists that want to meditate before their flights, and I'm sure a buddhist who retreated to a Muslim prayer room for some peace and quiet would probably be lynched. Not because all Muslims are intolerant, but because there'd be at least one in there that was, and the rest of the moderates would be too afraid of being called a heretic to defend a fellow human being, if you believe non-muslims to be such.

109 is a real laffer. Intelligence and islam have nothing to do with on another.

Everyone hates islam when they find out the truth about it. I am out there each and every day talking to people. I have to do it on the sly because i know loads of liberals.

They are so surprised when i tell them certain things.. like school girl beheadings in Thailand.. apostasy laws in Pak and Afgh..

One gay guy I mentioned these things to recently said then why isn't the media reporing on all these horrible things?

To which i replied THAT's what I want to know!

At least he got the idea when I said he'd be hanging from a cranew sooner than I will. He said what crane and what are you talking about?

so I told him that's how they do away with homosexuals and others they see a s deviating from the true path of pigslam.

And they still stone women for "cheating".

There's a whole world out there tha this guy hadn't been aware of previously.

One hopes he will go online and google around a little as per my suggestion that why believe me - go out and spend like ten mnutes on research and you will find a flood of information that should keep you busy for years.

Pigslam.. it must be exposed to all. We MUST win the hearts and minds of our OWN people. I know what the islamists think and I don't give a rat's ass. We don't need to save THEM - we need to save OURSELVES!

Muck Fuslims!!

PS. A camel sweat upon the MoFoe foot baths..

They should take their "najis" moslem behinds OUT OF OUR LANDS!!!!

I wanted to share an email response from Phoenix's Sky Harbor regarding the new "additions":

Thank you for your email about the sink in the Phoenix Sky Harbor
International Airport taxicab lot.

In 2004, Sky Harbor installed a sink/wash basin attached to the restroom
in response to strong demand by many of the 400 taxicab drivers who use
the area for extended hours each day and do not have easy access to the
terminal buildings. Many of the drivers use this basin for washing
hands and feet prior to conducting Muslim prayer, but the sink is
available to all of the drivers regardless of their faith. The two
water spigots are on timers so that they shut off automatically to avoid
water waste.

We also have an all-faiths, interdenominational chapel in Terminal 4 for
use by airport workers and travelers.

There is no religious symbol at the wash basin and it is not considered
a "Muslim prayer station." It is just two water spigots provided for
their convenience.

Thank You,

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
