Because it was an honor killing, you see. "Man killed wife, but pleads ‘not guilty,’" from Aftenposten, with thanks to all who sent this in:
An Iranian man charged with stabbing his wife to death outside a crisis center in Drammen last autumn pleaded not guilty when his trial started on Tuesday.The 44-year-old man also said in court that he was certain his wife had cheated on him, and he blamed her brother for being a bad influence on her. The brother, he claimed, had become "too European," and gave the dead woman "inappropriate advice."

...such as : you are the essence of humanity (a human being) capable of thinking for yourself, free to choose how you dress, free to choose you career , free to get an education, free to divorce your husband if he is a nasty, vile, and unforgiving, hate filled Muslim.....

I'm seeing a pattern, here. Seems like many if not most honor killings in the West are done in broad daylight and in a public place, and the killer makes no attempt to cover up his crime or escape, because he doesn't feel that he's doing anything wrong. And once again the motive for the killing is that the woman was too Western. I remember a killing where the man put a bullet through his sister's head in a public place (if I remember right), while another man murdered his entire family. Well, who can blame them? The women, who were living in the West, were becoming too Western. We can't have that.

Time to bring back the death pealty for terrorism.

Europeans have actually studied real history.
become accustomed to free speech, freedom of choice, freedom of movement, freedom to choose an occupation, freedom to choose area of education, freedom to choose who will be your friend, freedom to elect your leaders, freedom to choose the religion of your choice, freedom to choose what your wear, freedom to listen to music, freedom to view movies, freedom to eat barbque pork, freedom to enjoy a cool beer, freedom to watch and/or play soccer, freedom to sell icecream, freedom to harvest vegetables, freedom to be a farmer, freedom to travel, freedom to drive a car, freedom to have your hair styled, your fingernails decorated, freedom to wear jewelry, freedom to choose your husband, freedom to divorce your husband and probably freedom to name your child...
and being a Muslim womam you have the choice of being a babe in a burka and the ability to behave as a slave...
